See...... no pleasing some. Stonking potential muppet
Well, that will be a good reason for a placing in a year or so.
22% spread. Caveat emptor.
Potential is a word oft used by Thor. The realisation of said potential has thus far been zero.
I average 0.83. 5p - 8p by 2025...............................Hmm.
Agree moody…an absolute joke.. flicked up the gold drilling and rns…now going for other metal with world class local history…when this also fails…we’ll likely be told the area is famous for raising minogues, and that they will start the 18 years trial immediately…only potential saviour for Thor, as has always been the case, is the holy moly hill…get on with it…please
...more jam tommorrow...
Unfortunately, with all the goings on recently I am reading this through tinted glasses. This again sounds like more potential, more targets and more to come. I dont see this as any firm results.
Is this just another hang on! Thor need to deliver something as well as finding more targets.
I am usually a very glass half full but I am sceptical about this...

Nicole Galloway Warland, Managing Director of Thor Mining, commented:
"Thor's recent geological review of the Ragged Range project, triggered by the granting of E46/1393, has identified exciting lithium-caesium-tantalum targets associated with the highly prospective Split Rock Supersuite. These new targets will be advanced as soon as possible and have the potential for significant exploration discoveries, while we continue drill testing further gold exploration targets at the Sterling Prospect.
The Pilbara Craton already hosts two "world class" lithium deposits, and ground with battery metals prospectivity at our 100% owned Ragged Range project is an exciting new development, and has the potential to create substantial value for Thor shareholders."
Good to get the badly received news out the way yesterday. Now let the games commence.
caesium could be a game changer

I think one of the mines in Canada its roof is collapsing, https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-down-to-rare-earth-canada-ignores-chinas-resource-power-grab-at-its/

Always nice to see the phrase "World Class" in an RNS... :-)

After a little research on these sulphides (For industrial purposes, sphalerite is used in galvanized iron, brass and batteries. Sphalerite is a zinc sulphide mineral that is quite rare in gem quality.) (Chalcopyrite is as an ore of copper, but this single use should not be understated. Chalcopyrite has been the primary ore of copper since smelting began over five thousand years ago. Some chalcopyrite ores contain significant amounts of zinc substituting for iron.) Interestingly this mix is like the crystals from Huanzala Mine, Peru. https://www.fossilera.com/minerals/3-4-chalcopyrite-pyrite-sphalerite-and-quartz-association-peru.
Think people need to re-read the rns, as think this has got lost in the initial reaction. Not saying it's a great rns & pretty peeved with way it had been handled, but this quote may be, well significant.
"Significant sulphides (pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite), quartz veining and sericite-pyrite-fuchsite alteration identified, characteristic of gold mineralisation in the East Pilbara Craton."
If this hits 5p to 8p come 2025 (inflation adjusted) Im happy with that, I'm hoping that the Alford and Molyhill projects can do that.
I'm discounting the Uranium plays as speculative moose pastures unless the drill results prove otherwise but we are a long way away from that.
Agree but there was lot of hype at some point for Metals , and missed to take small Loss, rather getting is this situation.
“ They haven't done anything for the past 20 years except issue shares , pay themselves and drill. Nicole has been well trained by Billing.”
I had to chuckle there, but come on. One drilling campaign which was not fully complete due to circumstances beyond her control and you are crying out. Progress was made in identifying hot spots or not in this case. Let’s give Nicole the three to five years she deserves with recognition to the ‘pandemic’ restrictions she is working under.
Hi, Paul @11.41
The "board and management" section of the website has been updated, to show Potter as the non-executive chairman; but, as you say, the "contact" section has not. I will send them a message about this.
On your substantive point in para 1, yes, I agree. Potter ran a successful hedge fund, and is chief investment officer of Metal Tiger. He will arrange any joint ventures, etc; while Nicole does the geology.
Ah I see as of RNS 7 December 2021 we are awaiting results in first quarter.
But since there is civil strife Down Under, it is fair to say it is a longer waiting game and what is to say the drilling was competently done under the conditions of the 'pandemic'.
I thought Mark Potter had some role in that side of things.
Mind you the site has not been updated yet

Michael Robert Billing (Executive Chairman)

Mark McGeough (Non-executive Director)
But then again what can he do until all the drilling has been completed at Ragged Range.
However Molyhill, what is going on there to move the project forward?

Why have you invested that amount in one share?
Say if you had £40000 in a SIPP to invest more than £2000 in anyone share is suicide.
I am in a similar boat and did the silly thing and went in to nearly 10% but I will sit this out for another five years, it is just the opportunity cost of being invested elsewhere.
