The fundamentals for uranium are the best they have ever been hence the spot price movement recently,
This is just the beginning of a long commodity bull cycle,
1 sprott listing on the New York stock exchange in the third quarter 2022
2 Uranium supply/demand deficit in 2022
3 Utility buyers to start looking into Long term contracts in western mining companies
4 spot price easily $100 before year end.
And there is Nickel also at Ragged Range if i remember correctly.
Nickel price has really come to life over past few weeks at $48k /tonne having had a crazy run to $100k/tonne for a wild day with Russia-Ukraine war.
Current £14m MCa.... seems a big joke !!!!!!
"Several lithium exploration targets have been identified at Thor's Ragged Range Project.
§ The Pilbara Craton is highly prospective for lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) enriched pegmatites and hosts two "World Class" deposits at Wodgina and Pilgangoora that formed close to the Split Rock Supersuite (2.85 to 2.83Ma).
§ Prospective LCT ground adjacent to the Split Rock Supersuite (2.85 to 2.83Ma) is identified in three areas covering the northern portion of Thor's tenure."
Both Uranium and Lithium prices have moved substantially higher since end of Jan.
Permit must be soon now....
“Permitting is progressing well at our Wedding Bell Uranium Project in the US and we hope to update the market in the coming weeks, along with assay results from our recently completed successful diamond drilling at the Molyhil critical minerals project in the Northern Territory."
Taken from quarterly update back end of January....6 weeks ago
Doubled up with spot prices could be ideally timed if permit is extremely soon now
I think Thor Mining's Uranium deposits in USA should soon be in the spotlight for bigger players to come in.
"China and Russia have been the most dominant political powers in nuclear power.
There are about 440 nuclear power reactors operating in more than 30 countries that supply about 10% of the world’s electricity, according to the World Nuclear Association. Currently, 55 new reactors are being constructed in 19 countries, and 19 of those are in China. The U.S. only has two underway."
More from CNBC.
Spot #Uranium has moved up another 50c for US #Nuclear fuel brokers 'Uranium Markets'?? who are reporting an opening 11-yr high Spot #U3O8 price of US$59.50/lb with Buyers bidding $59 & Sellers asking a minimum of $60/lb
"Dead inside"!
Like it!
Unfortunately the sp performance over all these years has had that effect on most shareholders!!
Apologies here's the link.

Thor's twitter reply about concerns of overstretching their interests mentions Calidus.

I move to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners approval of a Special Use Permit
(SUP) for Standard Minerals Inc. c/o Thor Mining PLC for the proposed Mining Exploration on
mining claims at Groundhog Mine and Section 23 on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) public
lands off County Road U29 W in San Miguel County, Colorado, based on the finding that the
application is consistent with the County Master Plan, and with the Land Use Policies in LUC
Section 2-8, Natural and Man-Made Hazard and Resource Area; LUC Section 2-11, Erosion; LUC
Section 2-34, Revegetation with Native Species; LUC Section 2-35, Mining and Mineral
Processing Operations, and complies with the Land Use Code review standards in Section 5-407
Wildlife Habitat Areas; Section 5-10, Special Uses; Section 5-11, Conditional Uses on Federal
Lands; and Section 5-16, Mining; and Section 5-320 K, Review Standards for WE Zone District
Special Uses, subject to the following specific terms and conditions:
1. The Special Use Permit is issued to the Applicant, Standard Minerals Inc. c/o Thor Mining
PLC, and does not run with the Land.
2. No future mining activity at the project site by Standard Minerals Inc., its lessees, or the
property owners or its lessees is authorized by this approval.
Just a matter of time.
No permit as of yet,
The uranium sector has decoupled from the main market with only a few companies in the west going to be able to produce this uranium cycle but yet the companies in the sector including explorers are having daily double digit gains
if you can't get a little enthusiasm over this you must be dead inside.
we don't even have a permit for drilling uranium so I wouldn't get too excited about that yet
Uranium spot price on a breakout yee haa!
Adding to that- something like a Tesla rig with an array of solar panels maybe could do the electric powered portable power plant part and then it's all, from that perspective, GREEN.
Naise I'm relating to the currently employed strip mining and the toxicity of current leaching processes, as in this can be done on farm land and leaches the heavy "not so nice" elements out whilst leaving no toxic chemicals behind. Simply put it cleans things up as opposed to making them toxic with all the residual nastiness normally employed (which poisons the land and water table and don't work in conjunction with farming, watch the vid because that's where it is, on farm land.) That is what is meant by GREEN mining, basically not leaving behind a toxic environment for future generations and allowing the extraction processes to be expanded into green "currently restricted" areas without lasting environmental issues. As for vehicles and pumps eventually they will become "green" powered as well (but that's another industry.)
Only 10 days to go. Surely Thor will have some substantial news be for then, surely?
Diadulus I am all for green mining. I cant think that digging big holes in the ground doesn't consume much diesel
Would be nice, so would a big Lithium strike - or the gold or the Tungsten (given that priority status with Aus Gov). But the real thing is the continued progress with the GREEN Enviro mining, on the copper and gold, because no matter the current WW Distractions GREEN MINING will get so much press and so much focus and so much of what really counts once it's shown to be profitable.
Hoping 18 March approval comes through for Wedding Bells - recent info I found on line
