dcgc - I'm led to believe he takes his B&D everywhere with him just in case he passes a promising rock outcrop on the way. Should rename the company from Thor Mining to Thor Drilling and the logo should be the Norse god Thor with a Black & Deceker in his right hand instead of a hammer.
I`m fully aware of Mikes current earnings . I`m surprised you think its outlandish. In the meantime I`m happy to be invested here and look forward to see how this developes. I believe Mikes visiting the Pilbara region this week ,I hope he takes his Black and Decker with him to please gkb47.
@dcgc - how can you possibly back billing? He has done nothing but dilute this company to the bitter bone, perhaps all the assets Thor have are undervalued and as an example let's say every single one is hugely undervalued ( really they aren't) what company would be willing to invest in a partnership when the company has had these assets for a number of years and achieved absolutely nothing with them... Something not right for starters, if they were so good offers would be lined up on the table for billing just to sign yet all we get is 1 potential partner here and another there for the last 2 years The only way Thor are going to get anywhere is if they basically hand these prospects over for a tiny stake of any generated revenue, no company would be willing to negotiate with Thor as they have absolutely no leverage to negotiate with, they have no money, no revenue, no operations on going, nothing to at all give any form of leverage not only that but are a heavily diluted company with a board where shareholders have 0 confidence & frankly are stunned at how awful they are and yet continue to operate in the high seat so I would completely agree billing is hugely overpaid, MTR have only come out backing Thor in the hope to ramp the stock it's as simple as that, 6 months ago they were slating Thor for raising funds and the board for that matter
How much is our CEO currently being paid? as it seems to be upsetting you .You regard him as being a total failure I don`t and I will continue to back him along with Metal Tiger. The assets we have look undervalued to me and I look forward to developements over the next few months.
You are quite a commedian. I accept the company could have been managed better but explorers have had a torrid time over the last 5 or 6 years .Thor has always been under funded and without a tier1 or 2 find its been difficult to raise finance to progress their finds. If finance is forthcoming for any of our assets it would provide a window for further placings at a decent price instead of always scraping the barrel. I can`t think Metal Tiger would continue to support Thor in its latest purchase in the States if they didn`t think it represented value . Time will tell but slating the ceo of the company to me seems is being done to undermine the company and deter new investors. If I`m not invested in a company I certainly don`t waste my time making negative comments.
I agree we need a medium structured company to come into funding for molyhill however every company knows fine Thor have 0 cash to play with negotiation and have a guy at helm that has just about sunk the entire company so no medium structured company in their right mind would be willing to invest in the molyhill project unless it was for a complete steal, there is literally no good ending for us here at Thor, classing molyhill high status mine means absolutely nothing when no company is stupid enough to invest here, even MTR have attempted to ramp the status of this company by fully backing Thor when months earlier were ****ging Mick on his decisions The guy is a complete fraud
The problem with Molyhil is that it`s too small a project for the large companies to bother with and too big for the small companies to finance. Whilst its viable commercially its difficult to finance or find a partner .I thought the Bonya addition would tip the balance as this could extend the life span of the mine by another 18mths to a year. Perhaps now this latest developement with the Northern States initiative will be the answer to Mike`s prayers. I accept your view but beg to differ on prospects here
Every exploration company has to raise money through placings as they have no other source of income. Drilling isn`t cheap so how else woulld Mick pay for the drilling? Once the market gets wind of a placing the shares are sold prior to the placing driving the price down. A good example of this is the last placing by UJO which dropped nearly 50% before the placing price was fixed. You and others blame Mick for presiding over a company which has to dilute to exist. Once the projects reach the stage pfs which less face it is not very often capital becomes easier either by a joint venture or buy out. I agree with you that these investments are a gamble in the early stages but can develope with success into a long term investment . I`ve been invested in GGP for 2years which I now regard as a long term investment . Initially it was a gamble at 1.8p I agree . I think Mick has accumulated some good prospects and now base metal companies have started to gain interest I believe Thor will attract its share of new investors.
JR. People who invest in AIM exploration companies should know the high risk attached to such investments and don`t normally hold for long term. Like most investments it`s a matter of timing, you try to guage when the price looks attractive and follow its progress . I wouldn`t watch a share drop from 4p down to 0.4p, and not many others would, as you are suggesting as there would have been signs along the way that all is not well. I did very well on a previous venture into this share, in the days of Paul Johnson I believe and sold not at the top but not far off it. The time looks about right at the moment in my opinion for another punt .We have sufficient cash assuming the Spring Hill royalties deal goes ahead to see us through to the end of the year. Kapunda looks interesting, again being financed for us. The last few years has been dire for base metals but that is now changing . Copper which was on the floor earlier in the year has now turned following on from the precious metals gold price which is now about to break a new high. You must not assume everyone invested in this share is naive or stupid . It`s a matter of judgement .
