I think the recent 'strategic' placing was because in the past they were blamed for placing in desperation at a deep discount. So when it get's desperate again they can say at least they placed at a better price this time. They'll probably still place again at a deep discount anyways! IMO, DYOR ...
THR seem to be blowing a lot of cash recently. All these £1Million placings. Quite a lot for a one man and his dog outfit. IMO. Maybe they're going to buy some more claims so they can keep the drilling going.
B11 COPL relisted today. It opened at about 0.6p. Loads of burned fingers.
When I saw COPL up 16% a moment ago I thought MrP has backed a winner.....................then I see it's down 23% over the last 5 days (including today's uplift).
Ask Him. He has written on the COPL board today
Mr Positive hasn't posted since 18th July.
What to make of that?

As far as the Nickel is concerned I'd say they've seen a potential opportunity & route 95 heads in that direction "Last month BHP signed a lucrative deal with Elon Musk to supply nickel from its Kwinana refinery south of Perth, in Australia." Either way it's the Copper/Enviro developments that will really count, eventually.
Life's a beach if you're a THR director.
No Bigun2 it doesnot. It tells you the expectation was to raise at a higher sp based on completion of workstreams ( or atleast one) that would add value and entice investors in at a premium. Instead Thor have failed on all projects to achieve anything and instead have had to go cap in hand. Workstreams are set by management and timing should reflect all perceived issues/problems. Which just goes to show how useless Thor management is. Actually I'm wrong they did achieve one target. They got paid.
A wise man speaks when he has something to say, a fool speaks when he has to say something
If you have nothing to say, say nothing
It tells you that the investors want greater reward for less risk. We all want that don't we???
It seems they could have raised twice as much at 0.85p a while back, yet they accept 0.65p this time. What does that tell you about the company?
Whoop Whoop Billing can go drilling.
he is trading this share, has been for years.
Surely all this is to keep them in a job (look after no. 1). We just hope they come up with something that makes money. LOL. IMO.
The tone of interviews at the time and MTR response to the placing suggested the latter.
You know this? How? Or are you just speculating?
It wasn't, it was to keep Billing in a job.
That'll be probably when they were buying equipment etc in exchange for shares.
B2, look back at the history a bit and see some extraordinary placings at deep discount. There were a couple at 0.02p ish around the 2 - 2.5 Billion share mark. One was out of the blue when they had funds.
You are being very melodramatic bsg4 however I do agree that this is not a get rich quick share. My advice, fwiw, is to slowly build a stock of shares over the next couple of years or so. More placings to fund more investigative work, testing and further research will be had in that time before the full picture is known. Then you may have to hold on to your hats!
