Great job snooz, always worth asking. I did suspect that it was an extension request by THR. Worth noting that the DRMS meet weekly so once the local permit is sorted this should turn around pretty quickly.
Thanks for the information Snooz very helpful. Whilst the "delay" is frustrating it indicates to me the new management are ensuring it is correct and has best chance to progress which may not have been the case in the past.
DRMS says about the extension:
...I am aware that you saw the Extension Request which we received and approved yesterday. I have been in contact with the Operator and they are currently working on the permitting process through San Miguel County which will be a concurrent permit they need to hold. In order to allow them time to work through that process they have requested and extension to their decision date with our office. They and we are optimistic that this will wrap up sometime in the next 60 days and we can finalize our file and render a decision. I see it unlikely that another extension will be needed beyond the current Decision Date of December 20, 2021.
I have now asked (this is by email). I guess they aren't obliged to reply - but it's reasonable that they should because if someone's going to submit a comment/complaint about the application they surely need more details of the application then the few rows out of a database.
Snooz if possible can you ask for the reason for the extension?
Thanks
The Colorado DRMS have weekly meetings so even though tis been pushed back to Dec doesn't mean that we will have to wait that long for a decision?!
I've reached out to someone at Colorado DRMS regarding who made the application (the company name "Standard Minerals INC" not "Standard Metals Processing Inc") - see if they'll give me some extra details (e.g. names/addresses) so I will be able to confirm if one owns the other from that.
I do agree it's exactly the same three "Section 23, Groundhog and Rim Rock" locations as in Thor 's acquisition RNS - so probably is a subsidiary.
>I suspect the decision is extended by a month each month when the deadline comes up?
Based on the new date, you're not cynical/pessimistic enough - it gets delayed by three months each time the deadline comes up?!
FYI - I have THR on my "radar" as am of the opinion that anything with positive uranium news can have a sudden upward move.
Looks like DEC now - from HotCopper

I suspect the decision is extended by a month each month when the deadline comes up?
Extract from 18 March 2021 RNS by Thor refers to same land parcels as in the twitter link for San Miguel permitting
"Three priority target areas identified - Section 23, Groundhog and Rim Rock."
Also looked at RNS for acquisition by Thor in Sept 2020
"On September 10, 2020, the Company advised it had completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in American Vanadium Pty Ltd, a private Australian company, which in turn owns 100% each of the shares in Colorado company, Standard Minerals INC ("Standard"), and Utah company, Cisco Minerals INC ("Cisco")."
I suspect Standard Minerals Inc had a subsidiary who owned the rights to these parcels of land but not easy to track this down.

The pdf refers to "Standard Minerals INC" not "Standard Metals Processing Inc" as appears on the planning application website. Would like to see someone confirm - but I reckon it's a different company: https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SMPR
Pretty sure it is legit based on having found it also on the Colorado planning application site.
I guess the uncertainty is around whether the determining body in local government complete on the deadline.
It has been enough for me to make a small measured top up not intended as a ramp and as a new(ish) holder I don't have the scars from the past which may make me a little oblivious to their track record but this is usual for AIM.
I looked at the company name, Standard Metals Inc, and it is listed in one of THR's earlier announcements (below), for anyone wondering:

checked and found Andy.... nice find via Amber. Great post. It's genuine to me. roll on next few days!
oops....I must be ramping lmao..... nope. It's there in black and white
is that tweet genuine? so we should get news on permit next few days?
Thanks for the side note - very amusing !
I had done a little due diligence on the tweet:

Search result above is accessed via

had a nosey.... very intriguing. Certainly if genuine.
as a side note - if you scroll down a little (what i see anyway) is a picture posted. the classic photo of when the builders are all having a break and sitting along an RSJ way up in the air.....with a slight change. made me chuckle along with how did they manage to get that posted!
Should be by Weds next week - 29 Sep.
