As predicted, THG is plunging into the 1s.
This has collapsed -70% in 2 months.
Today's -10% crash from the early pump, and the close below 200p, are even more bearish signs.
I’ve seen some shorting tweets here last few days but this is the best laugh yet
Today's close below 200p is a very bearish sign.
Share panic is turning into crisis.
Could be a penny stock in weeks!
@nuri, not true, many institutional investors have increased their positions.
If you look at this data in the link, it is clear institutional investors and funds have recently bought 63m shares, whilst others have sold 45m shares, so institutions have been buying more actually from private investors, probably as the price dropped, highlighting overall market sentiment that this is a buy, and they needed fear in the market for the likes of us to sell off our stocks.

It makes money - yes - the negative balance type usually called a loss! Such immature investors with hyped fantasties to soothe the pain of being down on investment that anyone will buy this company... the writing is written large on the wall - institutional investors are dumping quick.
All the IPO buyers from the City probably sold out into the 800p rise from 500p ....and may well now be looking to buy back into the lows
" A number of bulge-bracket investment banks, including JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and HSBC helped bring the Manchester-based e-commerce group to the market in September 2020 and have broadly maintained positive views of the company"
sold the story until they dumped their shares ....on the highs ..no doubt
Big difference is that thg makes money and is a growing company though
I feel genuinely sorry for small investors who have got sucked into this. More turkey in THG than the Bernard Matthews empire. Stirring a few memories of the 2000 Dotcom crash when so many got burnt (me included) and the King's new clothes were revealed to be non-existent.
As predicted, weeks ago, THG is plunging into the £1-2 range.
Sentiment here is very bearish.
Share price is in freefall.
Big investors stampeding for the exit.
Management is a disaster.
Ownership chaos.
Breakup chaos.
Target price remains at 75p.
Just looked, Yesterday was 3396 algo to 2099 normal trades.
Today 5221 algo to 2089 normal trades with more trade still coming through.
Seems Algos very much in control.

it was never going to be the day for much change ..it is a sector type hit and mood on that doesn't tend to change one hour to the next ... too much crappy news about costs and prices going up today !!
yrabsmurruc
on bigger down days they always do it like that ...the buyers only really come in as a result of the sellers reducing their bid acceptance to get the sell ..and keep the market liquid... they mark a lot of those trades as buys
it is just a bit of crappy software that shouldn't be taken too seriously
once again the buys v sells is skewed in favour of buys...... logic says it cannot be true and just misprint of reality..... but for 3 days on the run it seems to be getting it very wrong..... unless of course there are nearly a third as many buys as sells ....adds to the fun......B
Falling knife really, I feel like AIM here but 1000 higher volume. I will remain watching this tomorrow.
Poker, keep the screen the right way up, else you might set another stop loss at the bottom...
Downbutnotout Looks like you were right! Got any lottery numbers for me.
maybe a test of 225p resistance now support?
dbno........... came down from 229 faster than it went up !! maybe they were just testing the engines....lol......B
ryanf
appreciate the heads up :-)
on my screen the little red line is going down again... maybe I will turn the screen the other way up ?
thanks Poker.................. agree, been in this murky pool for 20 years.... still learning everyday..... B

welcome to the world of the stock market.!!!... it is all a game ...one big GAME .... and all the big boys play to win by whatever means possible within the "rules" ....it is about getting the most shares for the least amount of money in the market .... .... like it or not..that is the game
I'm really sorry pokerchips but I did warn you
Comments on a board like this are not fuel. They don't impact price movements whatsoever. It's a place for investors to discuss the companies and speculate, but it's not going to change the price or where the share goes. Don't worry.
thanks kando...... we all have opinions, and that is yours. It just seems that when a fire is ongoing, there seems to be plenty to keep pouring petrol on it for no good reason other than the fact they can...................... B
