Nice to see jolly green boxes across 4 of my holdings now oh btw forgot to mention just got into hbr because of recent gov carbon capture license granted let's see if a green box turns up there
i quite fancy yca
oh no un-jolly spectator stalking me here now btw I'm currently in wres, miri, rmm, yca, brsd, swg along with the others you already know
So if you want to have a waste of time un-jolly speculation on those as well see you there
dear dear me
perhaps worth broadening your understanding, Cane
you seem to have blinkers (there is an infinite variety of motivations)
Will do cane seen you on a couple of bb's I've been on
I'm not a low lying fruit picker but I hope I'm a optimistic short to medium term value investor that will average down and top slice out of a position
Hopefully your strategies don't involve a 55 approach
GL
@2phevs: "low lying fruit picker": To be fair, I'm also a 'low lying fruit picker', but I *try* not to talk-down a stock. If you find me doing this, then please let me know... it's a somewhat dodgy practice in my view. I make enough money from fair dealing and hope that I don't have to stoop that that...
I believe 55 stated here he/she was looking at buying some back in July at 43-45
Please don't take offence at this but "low lying fruit picker" comes to mind, a bit like the bidders on level 2 at 0.0001 hoping forever to buy something cheap
I've just come back from work and spend as much time as I can trading my sipp up about 15% this year with hundreds of trades, personally I couldn't go round boards posting phishing (yes I think its a form of probing scam) messages to lower the price, but each to there own
Oh almost forgot there is the green box option

@CHRIS55: "I'm more than happy for you to take this one on your own, but good luck!"
I'm intrigued by your strategy. If I was retired and/or not invested here, I cannot think of anything less interesting than hanging around on this chatroom, spreading doom and gloom...
I can understand, if you want to buy in at some low level OR if you're shorting the stock.
look forward to not seeing your lower price posts here now good luck elsewhere
Hi 55
here's something to consider to make you hit the buy button that you've being saying you want to do for a long time
I looked back at the worst full or half year results and looked for some local independent journalistic view (local knowledge) this is the best that I could find.
it states
6 months to 30 sept 2020
rev £15 mill
order book £10 mill
trimmed workforce by 6%
Share price 79p
H1H2 interim results up to Mar 21 (1 year)
rev £29 mill
order book £15 Mill
share price 47p
yesterdays trading update (18 months)
rev £46 million
no order book figure but 31% increase in enquiry book to £359 millon
share price 40p
so in summary it looks like revenue has stayed constant at around £15 million every 6 months and the share price has halved because of some increased costs which tgp have stated they are addressing through trimming workforce and reducing manufacturing footprint (leaner, meaner and greener).
perhaps you could point out exactly why this deserves the share price halving with some facts that keeps stopping you from investing here even though you have stated you want get in for a long while.

55 I've just pressed again to impatient to wait for a swans neck could be seen as a u-bend shape
22,517@40.28 should bring average down to around 43
GLA
Taken a position in this one as it appears to be vulnerable for a takeover given their tech in different power sectors. Can see a bit more downside given the trading update but what manufacturing Co dosn`t have the same issues ? Takeover offer next week would be nice..
Yeah castle
I been in and out of PFC a few time last year but the SFO and Dubai issue pushed me away (could of done well there) that sort of company could easily snap up tgp all of those sorts of companies have loads of cash especially recently
its showing more buys than sells but that can be a load of rubbish MM's haha
IMO the MM's just dropped their bid before the market opened and that was end of a measured supply and demand price today based on the rns info
But only quite new to this very happy with my dvrg and brsd holding today though offsets this one
Parked some money in BT to sell and top up more here if it drops more
GL too
Sadly I sold out, at a slight loss.
Disappointing as I had high hopes for TGP with its connections to off shore wind.
May buy back in if it drops more, or if things look they are improving.
@2phevs: "buyers and sellers cane"
True, but lots more selling than buying or the share price wouldn't have fallen ~16% ... I'm positive about TGP and I'm holding this one long-term, but am cautious, given what happened last time an institutional investor trimmed their holding.
Good luck.
also on the other side looks like someone buying a few hundred k around 9.15-9.20 am buyers and sellers cane
It looks to me like a fund is offloading. I'm hanging in here, but won't be buying while that's happening.
11,983@40.88 average getting to 45
Come on 55 just push the button on the computer (not cistern) you know you want to
Then you can finally turn the u-bend and get positive you've been waiting and posting a long time for this
This clearly isn't a board to hang-about on if you have trouble ridding your mind of graphic descriptions :-)
You can polish a turd even a sugar coated one long term hopefully won't have to wait until it's fossilised just topped up 23,209@43 average now 46
Cash position is OK, but still operating at a modest loss.
Not sure how the market will interpret it, but it has the hallmarks of a sugar-coated turd.
