Sell eclipses Buy today.
We must see how it develops after curfews relaxing from summer. I expect TED exceeding 200 yet this year. If not, their special customers segment does not have much potential and I will departure from here.
Keep buying folks and we can do it.
Onwards and up. Great brand. US stimulus any day
Asos offers suspicios items too, by watching at the firsg glance anything but a hair care tool crossing your mind:

Probably TED would decease without the Brexit trade deal being patched. I guess they hope shops will open in summer and thats why didn't invest revolutionary eCommerce on the www.
Yeah, Asos is brutal.

Excellent article in Weekend FT documenting ASOS and Boohoo ripping up Centuries of Retail heritage, through their collective acquisitions of distressed UK fashion brands.
Interesting week ahead with the 11th Feb update and funds circling lifestyle retailers. Anyone else thinking Ted is a prime target for multiple takeover approaches? Certainly not selling anytime soon...
Ted engages with Textiles 2030 initiative. There are many clever ideas around, which will lead Ted a prosperous future after all. Carbon consciousness and ethical matters will be the key I guess. High volumes missing here.

Prematurely?
The stock is up 72% on the day, having been up 40% yesterday.
You had a result old chap.
Bid approach from two potential bidders this morning - Spotlight Brands, and Go Global Retail.
Go Global is acquiring brands via their Global Brand platform, with a view to developing Brands Globally via Digital Channels.
Spotlight Brands is a recent venture with $500M to target fast growing Brands with a Value of $50-$100m.
It's clear that Funds are now actively looking at potential acquisitions, as the Vaccination programme rolls out.

1. They obliterated g+

They might fight to survive. We hope impending lockdown lift will save them.
"European governments in particular are taking exceptional financial measures to support a post-COVID-19 green economic recovery. This recovery will also contribute to shaping the fashion industry’s development over the next decade. It is an extraordinary opportunity to take a significant step towards a more sustainable future. The European Union has clear plans in this direction."
Had Ted not fallen outside of the EU they could have harnessed the benefits of EU Green Deal.
I hope its feasible with a subsidiary.

26 Jan article. If it works for BOO, etc.!
+ they ought to advertise the collection with an outstanding low carbon footprint while really become a little bit greener than some of their competitors. Being green has been propelling business entities to success since the pandemic outbreak.
Ted Baker is lightening up for fall, thanks to the vision of its new global creative director.
Anthony Cuthbertson, whose résumé includes Topshop, Roberto Cavalli, Sass & Bide, Rene Lezard and Burlington/Ralph Lauren, among others, joined the U.K.-based brand last fall. For his first full collection, Cuthbertson offered up a more-relaxed and cozy assortment intended to address those working from home and trying to navigate a seemingly endless pandemic.
“We’re rewriting the codes to make them more relevant to today,” Cuthbertson said in an interview from his London studio. “We’re bringing more casualization to everything we do.”
Ted Baker has built its reputation on offering more-tailored pieces in an array of bright prints. But while there’s still some of that in the collection, the new direction is broader and much less formal, and offers an expanded assortment of outerwear, knitwear and accessories.
“The brand has some great history,” he said, adding that is a quintessential British label that has historically brought “a bit of humor” to its offering. But the Britain of today has changed and Cuthbertson has created a collection intended to blend “modern references and nostalgia.”
“For me, there’s a juxtaposition of art, e-commerce and fashion. Ted was always at the forefront of that,” he said. “And we want to bring that back.”

Never held an Apple gadget in my hand and wont ever. I have not found any related app in their public app store on www. I think I found an other interesting issue.
"thebodyshop" is so far 1K+ downloaded! Guys, customers are missing abysmally.
Gucci, Luis V 1M+
H&M, Zara 10M+ downloads.

Now I hope this was the reason I did not find 5 sizes out of 8 available on many products whilst cruising on Ted Baker web shop. Hopefully they halted or diminished production lest they appear in such BBC headlines.
Where were the BBC when Burberry burnt £59 million worth of there clothes between 2015 and 2018, nowhere to be seen
The BBC is a mouthpiece for your Brexit Yobs.
Burberry burn over £28.6 million worth of clothes to keep there prices up and uphold there brand.
Its that disgraceful , it makes you wonder why anyone would even buy Burberry products
Excellent.
It suggests retailers do not have distribution hubs inside EU must thrill costumers by customs clearance and surcharges. Or burn the clothes.
Does TED have those distribution hubs established inside the EU?

Osborne was fairly overwhelmed. "well what a year".
Well they please customers by a variaty of virtual store entries. I find some ideas cool. They have a 3-years-long strategic transformation plan on the table throughout fy 22. For us the joy would be to see the contraction ending.
https://youtu.be/lcRKhV8Olp8
Perhaps Osborne is cool but they may need to keep sweeping vertically :

With respect the Q3 results were clear enough
It was a big surprise for me that the Q3 statement was not reflected in the share price
Obvious concerns about covid ( Brexit irrelevant ) but we all know that and built into the current share price
Q4 will simply re-affirm what we know about TED already
Great Brand
Future proofed financially to endure the COVID pandemic
Management clean sweep - done
Done/doing what is needed to shift on-line
The upside potential on this is large
Short term predictions in the region of 140 to 150 ?
Long term predictions...irrelevant
Best regards
The Jimster
