Tosca added another 200k shares @ £1.44. Stake up to 28.24%. Can only be a positive sign
L2 is stacked up but the price aint moving.
Im still awaiting entry point but its getting more tempting.
Tosca are still buying. Lets hope that we do get over 200.
I still think thatthere is a good chance this will be taken out at over £2.So current so currently it is trading at a discount of 25% if that level is achieved or a growth off 33% so for a short term that in my view is a ggod return and I see this share moving up to £1,60 to £1.70 before they go to the next round.
I think they will sell. For the following reasons: Major share issue at 75p which shows many who joined a significant increase will be more than happy to release their gains, more support from private investment company including financials to do what Management want to do. Management will also likely get private performance relating shares or bonuses which will make it very attractive for themselves to sell.
The brand is excellent and like I have said I don't want to see another brand gone to private overseas hands.
I guess you are just trying to be another clever duckie and assuming you know me and my holdings. My holding is very much blue, but thanks for your concern.
Forever as you seem to be forgetting they do not need to sell :-)
Read the rns’s s it’s clear as day the board are not selling out shareholders on the cheap.
Good luck with your entry
Yes, this company is a great position- this is not a fire sale! The don't need to sell, interest and offers coming in as bidders know this, and are trying to bag a bargain.
But what is the long term value £5,£10,£15 or is it to pay a high dividend?
Sycamore's bids are not a benchmark.
Other parties are bidding.
I understand the board's point of view:
they have simply stated that to actually consider any offer a proper process is needed to allow for all interested partied to come forward.
the benchmark which has been stated twice now by a member of the exec team is relative to the long term value of TED as a sustanable independant business.
What do you think the market cap value will be to see a bid accepted? £400m?
Seems you are looking at historic SP and assuming nothing material has changed. 500pps will not happen for a decade at least. There has been massive dilution which caused the SP to crash to these levels.
Concentrate on the market cap and you won't go wrong.
V POSSIBLE
2.00 would be lovely
Patience good things come to those who wait.....
Thought we would see at least 150 today
Given where Ted Baker stock was 5 years ago - I feel its massively undervalued currently - even if it sells for 500 a share I'd still think that too low given the potential for a rebound it has has a brand. I bought at 100 but bought in for the long term, not for a quick buck and feel that any sale at or around the current price would be far to low.
and Curry's wont be far behind-blue x sales everywhere it's a retail frenzy
Me too BTF been saying for a while that SDRY will be next its's on a ridiculous valuation , only a matter of time until the action begins!
I would suggest rereading what I wrote .. why would I have opened a short position?! By saying I will be “really disappointed if it goes for 150” . I love ted , always have so not just out to make a quick buck! Would rather it didn’t sell at all if it’s before 200..

I think we are allin agreement TED will now be sold as the third offer must be enough for the BOD to consider and start a formal process. With another party involved I guess they believe their target will be reached.
I will be sad to see this go. We have many top brands disappearing in the UK form the market as they are considered so cheap compared to the wider global market. Many of course make no sense as they trade internationally.
Honestly I cannot see this going for less than 200p
which if taking it private will allow it to generate he type of revenue it knce did will make this an amazing deal for the new owners.
As mentioned in previous messages their assets alone are worth millions. So at this proce they are only paying a small amount for the brand name and future earnings. This is why it makes it such an attractive play.
Did you get a short position ? Why to negative !
Just watch and see the over 2.00 GBP VERY SOON.
Seen a few comments saying will be around 150 which is why SP is hovering around the price now .. will be really disappointed if it goes for that ..
It’s all noise, message to the board accept nothing under £2.50 and remember you do not have to sell out at all.
How has superdry not moved with an mc of 135 million quid.
I have filled my boots both here and in Sdry :-)
They have indicated they are prepared to sell and in effect hoisted up the for sale sign - why would they disclose the price if they don’t have to. It’s pretty obvious the current bid is slightly below £1.50 - as indicated by the current share price. As indicated by previous posts if most of the players have bought at the lowest of 75p with the last fund raise - £1.75 will represent a very nice profit - unless say Tosca want all the pie themselves as they think they will make more in future years with a refloat or sale
I would have thought they would have to disclose the offer price??
