Surprised and disappointed that share price hasn't risen on takeover activity in sector: Brewin Dolphin's recently recommended takeover (by Royal Bank of Canada) added over 60% to its value and commentators said private wealth investment was of growing interest to financial companies. Patience I guess.
Apologies. Lots of Buys.
Yes a lot of buts this afternoon so onwards towards 7p.
I’m assuming the trading update will be posted anytime. Looking forward to a positive update and hopefully push this up to 7p+
Stock trades at discount to nav. It can take time for market to respond to such issues for a small cap with a low float but I brought some more today because I can be a patient holder of an undervalued stock.
A share buyback is where a companies buys back its share to make the marketcap go higher in terms of business it means that they have growth nd capital
I’m not convince and don’t share your optimism. I hope it does, but it got to 6.5p a month ago and hit a wall and slowly retreated back to 5.5p.
16p would be lovely, but I’m not sure how it gets there?
Share price looks like it’s heading towards IC sum-of-parts 16p.
Can someone please explain this to me. The company bought 21 million shares and then cancelled them. I realise that this will reduce the number of shares in issue and therefore increase the value of each share, but if they have used cash in the bank to buy these shares, the market cap of the company is reduced by this amount anyway??
I think I’d rather see a special dividend here than share buy-backs by the company.
Yet they still trade at this level. You have to question why?
Surely if they are ‘worth’ that money people would be hoovering them up. One article has done more for this share price in a month than the BOD’s have done since inception. We just need a few more influential people to mention Tavi. It might be make it back to 7.5p before all the dilutions. Obviously that’s all it takes. May as well ditch those two with the huge salaries/dividends/pension contributions and expenses.
16.5p. Worth reiterating at current sp of 5.75p.
Yes good rise today. It could be down to the company buying the shares like the RNS last week. Be interesting to see what happens in the next 2 days
You could be right. Moving up already today.
Thanks for your reply T. Exciting times to look forward too soon.
I don't actually think its medium to long term. Bods are both knocking on and have much skin in the game. Add the fact that the financial services industry is all about acquisitions and FUM and imagine this will be snapped up in no time.
A great medium to long-term hold here. Greatly undervalued compared to NAV. 10p achievable in the coming weeks.
Stock Exchange market doesn't dislose type of transaction (buy/sell) - it is just additional algorythms that try to determine whether transaction looks more like a sell or more like a buy. But sometimes it is in between of bid/ask price and algo isn't able to determine what it actually was and colours it grey
Great to see so many trades coming through, but what are the grey ones? Some are huge? Yet down as unknown…. ??
Thanks for your reply on Friday AllFunNGames, apols late reply i was busy with punters. Heavily invested here for a few years and this bodes well for this year !! all the best
Think you need to update your understanding of events since 17th Jan. 42trader was spot on.
Not really today's news though as it was announced on 17th Jan.
Cancel that, spread not reflected in actual trades I see, thankfully
Difficult to invest with that spread
Everything to go for
