BuyBack is a way of returning funds to shareholder, instead of dividends which may be taxable ,
Buyback reduces the supply of shares specially if they are cancelled , which is the case in majority of buy back .
I'm curious of 2 things if anyone can shed any light on this for me please.
What were envisaged to be the reasons for the share buyback initially, and then what could have been the subsequent reason/s to cancel these ?
Tia.
Nice to know...........
Good RNS
We’re all quietly waiting for 16p
Way too much idle chatter on this board
Great results plenty cash, buy-back 28,898,378 of Company's ordinary shares 1p each, representing 4.75% of then issued share capital, at price of 4.7p per share. Great move
if the 9 Million from Titan comes in during august and they factor that in in the annual report mid September do you have any idea what will happen Div wise , an end of year Div and a special Div ? the Directors have already been topping up when they have really massive holdings so i can only presume that it will be beneficial to all ?
Most successful trading year to date.
The interim dividend increased by 40%.
2 directors buying at these levels.
Trading at a discount.
All looking good for TAVI. Hopefully, news is on the horizon.
yes, that interim divi is a big plus and bodes well for the final if they give one but it would be a first if they gave a interim without a final so its just a question of nearer the time.Almost all companys the final is the larger of the ywo reflecting the full yea r end so that should be interesting
Spot on...............
I think they may declare a final dividend as well, especially considering the next £9,000,000 from Titan should hit the accounts August
Yesterdays RNS referred to the dividend as an interim dividend ........ so will we expect another bigger this year ?
Yep definitely worth adding more - been invested here a while and added more when nothing was happening - so much steady growth potential - when you do the sums with a 0.07p Div per share the board are distributing roughly £385000 in Divs ? is that correct ? theres payments due from selling to Titan as well so it could and should get interesting
Will be adding some more tomorrow on this RNS announcement earlier today. The best year of trading for the company in its history, with a dividend payment of 0.07p per share due next month.
Should fly once again after that RNS
Its been a long time coming but about time that Tavi get some quality publicity
Quite a few late big buys
A nice Monday morning RNS would be Lubilee Jubilee
Simon Thompson reiterates a 'buy' recommendation in yesterday's Investors chronicle article.
"Tavistock’s advisory business is still worth £58mn (10p a share) as a standalone entity, hence my sum-of-the-parts valuation of 16.5p a share. Buy."

More big buys today, something occuring ?
a few big buys this morning - hopefully annual results soon and hoping for another divident
Yes slightly concerning.
Seem to be later than usual getting the annual results figures out. Hopefully that’s positive and the profits are so high they are still counting……..
