Lets see what the results say. On the one hand, no one is going to buy £10m of shares at 20p without some persuasion, on the other, how on earth do you manage to lose £15m in one year of supposed recovery and strengthening markets ? So much for the weekly rises I was so hopeful about. Griffin 1.... Leo 3 are they section or team names or something within the factory ?
Are you a employee of Smith or Powered Access? What are the rumours about, the payoffs which leo3 mentioned? By management do you mean DK and the BOD or others. it would be good if you could expand, just so we on the outside have an idea of what is really happening in there, we only pick up what they want us to hear. if we are investing we need to know whether it is worth it.
not much hapening here. management haven't a clue what to do,walking round being misery and not telling us wots hapening. Rumors going round about things but people cant say for fear of wot could happen
The fresh funds will sequre the near future,HOWEVER, the bigest picture is still very much in doubts..........as an holder i would hope we still got a chance to turn things around, but i feel SMITH survivel is crucial to us..........the results (april) will not be much to look at,its the outlook that i hope will be positive, history re-TAN is not great, but i hope things is about to change........such hopes.....GLA............
?
Doughnuts as well ???
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
damson?
Curry / From the shop floor workers (redundant)! East/. Forget the jam Smell The Coffee
We are still out here. Not much happening. Leo3 has been dropping cryptic messages of doom for the last 3 years- not too sure what his motive is, he never says more then a few words. As for Tan, you could read the RNS in a positive light but many of us here have heard it all before. I think 'Jam Tomorrow' is the phrase that springs to mind. I am trying to average down and have topped up at 18.44 and 19.75 as I still have confidence it will go back to around the 50-60p mark if they can prove profitability in 2013 and SEV stays afloat. Lots of 'ifs' I know.
DOES ANYBODY FROM TAN READ THIS? WHERE ARE THE 18 GOING FROM?
Closing down sale, 18 to go soon
is a bit like the gritty jokes of soviet russia... ..just to keep us little guys sane against the great machine..as it grinds inexorably on & on & on ..r we nearly there?... but we know by now that no answer will be forthcoming...not yet..
Up is better then down , we will be rich by Christmas....2020
back again...
As a very small investor of Tanfield shares can anyone tell me what the outlook might be for the next 12 months? Looking at the figures it seems that everything is improving, but investors are predominantly selling and I cannot work out why? Is the company in trouble or is it just restructuring etc? Would be interested in views please?
this tug has a powerful reverse gear lol
Yes someone will be slightly jollier today
The boat as its sets sail for hopefully a knew trading range. Bon voyage As you look back to the dock you'll see me at the ticket office haggling for a one way tocket

Tan's been a brute for years, and v difficult for me to "read" i've made money in the 20-60p range & like Smiths...so sticking with my small underwater punt... but haven't got the foggiest
