Somethings going on, just wish I knew what !
Some posters on ADVFN thinking of a possible IPO of SMITH'S on the AIM market......... well after the unsuccessful IPO in America this could be interesting......however NO confirmation for this story and with TAN record of RNS I am not expecting for.....perhaps this is why the big delay in full yea results.........
Forgot to add, trades data stopped at 15:57 and I know there were more buys after this time
I know been here a long time now, bit surprised at the persistent volumes traded today, there's obviously news due that someone's got wind of, I wouldn't dismiss a large rise just yet ;o)
Mate, what a lovely good old RAMP, haven't seen one like that for years. I say bring back the good olde days Eh!!!
Large volumes today, IPO, Snorkel, good news ? Could be looking at 50-60p (IMO)
25p and then some! Something afoot IMO looking at the rise today
Nice rise today, could be pushing 25p if we're not careful !
No mention off the 18 / paid off 5 weeks ago?
I have asked Tanfield to change their website to state the correct date of their 2012 results instead of leaving it saying April 2013. I still wait them to achieve this simple request.
I have searched without success to see what could have driven this week's rise. It must just be rumours and if knicol46 is correct, then this will slump back again.
I Managed to get to speak to someone at Tanfield who say that even though the Tanfield website states end of April 2013 for the preliminary 2012 results, they will actually be released sometime in May or possibly even June but definitely before the 1 July. The annual report will come at around the same time apparently
Not a bad start to this week but where are results ? How long does it take to write 'trading in line with expectations ' & 'investments in the supply chain' etc...

Snorkel going up for sale
I don't think this is a sale of Snorkel, more of actually positive trading results. A sale of Snorkel would be verrrry bad for us small share holders as we would get practically nothing.
it has to be a good thing if it has been sold. a change is needed and new ideas to get things rolling again. get rid of old dinosaurs and bring in new ways of doing things, it is not the seventies now.
But maybe know on the 15th April http://www.vertikal.net/en/news/story/17094/
Sale of Snorkel ?
UP 18%
Interesting rise today
http://rermag.com/supply-side/snorkel-introduce-three-new-products-bauma This at least shows the company is maintaining an R &D focus with these new products. Have not got the foggiest what the spec means on them though.
Love to know why these bell ends **** there own company off, plenty of positive news out there in various media outlets supporting growth in the platform industry, yes they have had a struggle but so has the rest of the globe, with interested party's it must be worth a punt!
the management i talk about arent at the top, it is the ones closer to the floor, they are never seen,i dont know were they go all day. they just leave the work to their seconds who are just as bad. no respect from anyone at all. they are only interested in themselves and wot they can get out of the company for themself. we are willing but need led and not bullied.
