Haha AP,
Have you ever seen so much interest in a new company or so much progress in 6 months.
@Kyle, I personally think DW needed some cash and has had to sell some. He still holds over 19% and will do through other vehicles so will still do very well long term. COIVD has given near term finances a jolt for many.
Weathergeek, just by how many pages your links now take up. I would think the word traction should be considered lol
Have a good one and thanks for posting
Weather Geek I agree more shares will get transfered to ii, as the majority holders are insiders and retail at the moment. I wonder whether DW transfered his stake to Eight Capital Partners where he is a shareholder. Would this be considered an arms length transaction? If he has done this he has derisked his capital by transferring the holding into a company he is a shareholder. He would reap the benefits should the share price rise.
Thanks FB.

So the trolls are out in force trying to put down SYME.
The Chairman bought and had to sell at a lower price.
What does that tell us..
1. DW saw value at .7p and bought
2. The markets have been tanking, our 25% rise day, was on a very red day for the markets.
3. The share price didn't go the way DW wanted.
4. Due to other financial commitments, DW had to sell. He will not have wanted to take a loss.
5. He can only sell under certain circumstances. Financial trouble being one.
6. DW is also involved in property. During COVID property businesses and REITS have been hammered.
7. AZ has taken out a call option at consideration price of 0.69p
My guess and thats what this is, discussion and guessing, is DW is going to lose a percentage of his shares in SYME to AZ (via other vehicles that own SYME shares).
AZ may well be bailing out DW here. I think he is but that is my guess and not fact.
Now, Without DW, SYME would not have got where it is. The other three board members are focused on the field of finance and fintech. DW facilitated the market listing of SYME and is someone who is more of an "Entrepreneur" than a dedicated board member running the day to day of SYME. He is a Non Ex Chairman with a commitment to work 24 days per annum with SYME.
My hopes are AZ will buy him out more via a successful option trade and he can have what ever cash he needs to help his other ventures or whatever he needs it for.
Lots of II's are coming on board, Lots more share transfers will happen. We should get used to it, it was always the plan to bring on board II's and use the share capital where possible. The strength of the SP recovery after the announcement was evident to all to see.
In simple terms,
-DW has had some money issues.
-AZ is 100% confident in SYME.
Seeing as its AZ that is CEO and the main man. I'm happy to see his call option.
Next post is an updated press list of articles on SYME or that show the market SYME is entering is hot property. Or should i say inventory. Newbies, Some good research is in there.
