Extrader, you are a pretty, filtered again
Hi Weathergeek,
I'm not paid by anyone.
I've already - twice in the last 2-3 days - explained my interest in SYME, call it a 'case study'.
I'm not quite sure of what yet.
The fat lady hasn't sung ...but I think she's clearing her throat.
I take it that you don't have an answer to my 'Ceresio as co-investor' observation @ 18:47, then ?
Ah, well.
ATB
Time will tell.
Hi Redbox,
I've been investing for over 25 years and have never shorted. Sad, I know. I wonder how many on this board can say the same ?
PS It was a rhetorical Q, btw.
HTH
@Ex, If you're not invested. May i ask why you have spent so much time here doubting everything about the company? Are you making that "mad money" by posting by any chance?
Hi Gotham,
No I didn't , it's GRE.PL, as mentioned. And I took it as a 'given' that DW was Chairman, if you remember, that's why the 'emergency sale of shares to cover unexpected Placing costs' was so bizarre : most of these - per the Prospectus - were incurred by his own company, Epsion.
ATB
Alfred there’s your answer no .. and MAY doesn’t mean WILL
And notice the complete off hand view to his “buy”
Dismissive at the least
Love having live prices sometimes with chat open
But closed now extrader. Keep posting and peeps will just wonder why you are and not invested
Hi alfred12,
.."Extrader,have you got shares in SYME,? just a yes or no will do..."
Not yet.
I may well have a punt next week (out of the 'mad money' pot in my portfolio) as I try to educate myself about momentum investing.
What difference does it/would it make ? Would it change your view of SYME as an investment in any way ? I hope not !
HTH
Hi futuresbright,
This thread is titled GlobalSelection SGR, a Ceresio Group entity.
To be clear, this ISN'T the 4.98% investor Parrot (Global Capital) Life of Malta , which has 1.63bn shares .
These are 2 x separate entities, the first is part of Ceresio, the second is the holder of 4.98% and a completely separate entity. See Prospectus and put the 2 x names into google search.
Oh and Pictet ISN'T part of Ceresio Group either, as I've posted previously.
HTH and ATB
Its part of their rule book Alfred when confronted never answer the question
Missing out Green care capital and Dominic Whites the Chairman
I dont require an essay.
Extrader, have you got shares in SYME,? just a yes or no will do.
Hi inv4fee2020,
Had a chance to run through the link to Eight Capital Partners ECP.PL. What a hoot !
Bonds listed in Vienna (ranked 47th financial centre, below Glasgow but above Doha); an investment in a mining company that's re-purposing to invest in an Italian football team or teams; a stake in a cannabis/CBD/hemp oil venture GRE.PL; 2-stage acquisition of Epsion just before it's listed as Placing Agent for the RTO (Interim 6/2020 report : "Epsion has also done well, with unaudited six-month revenues growing to £540,000, and a pre-tax profit of £155,000."
Thanks again !

Good post @WG. Considering the late reported trades from Thursday (300 million) then I think we've breached the 30bn mark.
Hi chaps, Worth adding the last share register data from Micky1 here.
Said it before a while back, DW and his companies facilitated the listing. They are the London connection the helped SYME list. When you follow the movement of the holdings and share register. You can see it is DW's vehicles that are the one's selling to II's along with to PI's. It was always the plan. If you go back far enough, reading all documents. It's there.
Some of DW's companies..

Oh @da thats interesting... just doing some 'join the dots' on that one, so I googled "Advam Partners SGR SpA"
It returned lisnk to a fund "SHORT TERM ITALY"
https://www.infobanca.es/short-term-italy-advam-partners-sgr-s-p-a-fondo-de-inversion/
Googled the ISIN IT0005282246
https://lei.report/LEI/81560054DA332AF7B770
..Look at the Parent Holding Company!! "FINANCE PARTNERS GROUP S.P.A."
..follow that link

apprears to link back to Eight Capital Partners Plc & DW

what a web they weave..
I've done some digging on Ceresio, and found that the Global Selection SGR SpA fund is managed by them.
The ISIN code for the funds is IT0003407100.
https://www.ceresioinvestors.com/en/societa/global-selection-SGR-SpA.html
It has consistently been a top quartile performing fund. Perhaps the inventory-backed asset class could form a corner of a fund like this, in its fixed interest aspect.
