the cycle of investor emotions ….optimism/excitement/thrill/euphoria/anxiety/denial/fear/desperation/panic /capitulation/despondency/depression/hope /relief/optimism .KOH is at the depressed level so hope ,relief , optimism lies ahead for him(or her )
It could just be my depression returning to cloud my judgement but I feel administration is the most likely outcome.

I have completely written off my investment (in my mind) some time ago, mourned, recovered and already planned in detail how to gradually get it back. I recommend it. After a while it actually feels really good - no expectations at all. If I ever get a chance to get a fraction of my investment back - great, if miraculously the news will turn out to be really positive for LTH - even better. Abandon all hope - anything from there is an upside.

Irrational, thinks it's going into administration but holding just in case , lol. Ok matey , tata now.
125,000 shares. Holding just in case but mentally, I’ve written them off.
Thanks.

OldRascal,
"I hope for a miracle but I fear the worst."
why don't you sell the 128 shares that you have left, and move on, now that would be a miracle.
I still hold shares in SM. Half the number I had before the position degenerated to its current dire situation.
I hope for a miracle but I fear the worst.

The benefits to local, national economies and to the world’s food production will all materialise no matter who develops Woodsmith. It’s only us shareholders who will be shafted and nobody cares about us. A new owner could actually deliver more income to the government because they wo t have to spend £billions getting the mine to its present condition.

"The country is run by idioits". I guess we get what we deserve..
Or.
I get your drift, but any publicity is welcome ,it will make alot more people aware of what is going on,try asking ten people have they heard of sm ,people who are not involved in shares ,
I bet only 2 or three have even heard of sm.So if the government continues to ignore the issue,
and then sm were to go to the wall but then a life saver comes along with a bail out ,and takes most of the profits away from our so called Great Britain,,I can see tonnes of egg on faces of those who ignored the plight of so called northen power house,
Old Rascal, I seem to recall you said about a week ago we are heading for administration, yest you're still here and I assume still a shareholder. So surely a petition to the Government has some point in that it may spur a change in decision and then see your shares increase massively in price.
At 10,000 signatures the government will respond to the petition. Their response will be that the risk of failure was too great (‘ to guarantee these loans was to seriously jeopardise hundreds of millions of taxpayers’ money, with a high risk of default.’ - Simon Clarke MP).
I don’t see the point of this petition.

Exactly Fred16 it’s going to support the Yorkshire economy massively in a time of changing needs and a lack of high paying jobs in the area
Government guarantee would be to support a company that is going to provide hope and employment to an area that is in great need of it - it’s a much bigger picture than bailing out shareholders
Must admit I was listening to LBC in the car this afternoon and caught the end of a phone in which was about North and lack of investment compared to South - perhaps even taking the control for investment etc from London. It does seem to be getting a lot of media attention at the moment especially in the South and of course the whole debate is much bigger than Sirius but Sirius is no doubt in these Brexit times is a fine example of how North could prosper. I was half expecting someone to ring in about Sirius - in fact was tempted to ring myself but phone in ended. Fingers crossed - I think it’s a hot topic at the moment which is attracting a lot of attention nationally.
Are they going to have a 10,000th signature party?
Why should the Government bail out shareholders who took a high risk punt?
Do not hold out for any help from the Government they really just do not care about the thousands of jobs lost monthly around the country. Their idea is that it is just market forces. As to SXX I believe they think someone else will come in and pick up the pieces but they will happy to reap the benefit. As to the petition which I have signed I have always felt that when it is handed over at the door at No 10 by hopeful petitioners it is accepted with good grace then taken to the back door and slung in the bin. Call me pessimistic but I have lost all faith in this country, government. Nothing works as it should . The country is run by idioits
250 gained today
We now have over 9000 so a big push needed
When it hits 10,000 the government will respond. Hopefully not with the same response they have already given.
