Also couple of more things. (BHP & other related)
1) Pound is crap exchange rate wise at the moment, so makes it cheaper to build in the near term.
2) BHP is headquartered in Melboune. CF is aussie (via UK, lived in Sydney) you cant tell me he doesn't have any contacts there already.
3) BHP need something ....
https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/agriculture-investing/potash-investing/bhp-consider-future-jansen-potash-project/
4) we're talking about polyhalite, a better product, which is harder to obtain as there are not so many sources, and non of the scale we currently have (or could have),t.
5) Its half the price costwise to get this up and running
6) BHP is not the only big player with big pockets.
7) CF wont stiff the shareholders in the longterm, short term hits maybe to get this thing back on the road but longterm, staff incentives, his holdings, staff holdings (many of which they will have bought), dont annoy the locals etc, all lead me to believe it will come off and in the long term (4 years) be good for the shareholders.
8) I'm feeling lucky :-)
BHP, interest , just look at the price difference, for start $100 to produce a tonne of potash ,$30 to produce a tonne of poly4 , when the mines complete , come on
BHP would have ZERO interest in this PoS.

Not what I’ve heard!
“ The product is rubbish...farmers want potassium, not everything else that comes with the polyhalite.”

Yeah... what would those clowns at Yara know about crop nutrition anyway:
http://www.yara.co.uk/crop-nutrition/agronomy-advice/dont-forget-about-sulphur/
Bloody amateurs. Pfft...
per ardua ad astra
Not acording to our resident expert, who im sure has all his info first hand,,
My arxxxse he has,
But you have to laugh dont you?
Poly plus or poly 4 is in it's very early stages of development, it's already getting excellent results from allover the world, once the girls and boys who know unlock it's potential and and make specific blends for individual crops or types of ground it will be in serious demand.
Nice one!
Ok my bad, I stated I would try and ignore them then they get me to bite within 20 seconds, ok from now I will defiantly try to not respond to them!
This company is a 'pos' and 'the product is rubbish' why the hell are you on this BB posting then???
delusional. BHP would have ZERO interest in this PoS. The product is rubbish...farmers want potassium, not everything else that comes with the polyhalite. Don't pay any attention to the TorP's as they are worthless.
CF paid about $3m for the asset through his consulting group Sigariya (which is also on the register...I do hope he includes that stick in his disclosure).
Just out of interest (genuine question) how much did Sxx pay for the asset?
Honesty, I would love to see a bid of 50p, but I can’t see more than a 10p bid when the price is this low. It will come down to what other finance options are available. If we have lots of options then we can push back. If it’s a take it or leave it offer then people will take it versus the alternative of going under.
$265 spot price . $100 to produce a ton , bloody hell that's not cheap , compared to the potential costs ere
There's more chance AlanG you voting labour than BHP interested in woodsmith mine.unless it went to the wall.
Hi Alan, do you mean bhp may want to take us over or come on board as a partner? obviously if they wanted to take us over they would most probably have to pay at least 50p per share due to the size of our assets so perhaps they may prefer to come on board and join us and make some nice profits that way, either way I'm sure you are right that they will be keeping a close eye on us due to the potential and value of what we have to offer.
Im sure they will be very aware al.
And no worrys about government stopping a hostile take over, like what happened un canada.
Stranger things have happened.
Interesting to see the costs involved re BHP looking at developing a potash mine makes our mine look very cheap could they now look at cheaper alternatives I.e one that's already well on the way to being built ?
I would not be supprized to see some interest come in from BHP
