I would stick but I only ever invest money that I am willing to lose. Depends on your circumstances I suppose.
Mr Math I know you were not advocating buy, sell or hold. What I meant was it is near impossible for me to decide how this share is going to go. I do not know if it is best to sell or hold so am holding.
"Mr Math I agree the what does it matter attitude does kick in when you are well down like I am. But the logic bit is hard to figure."
Robins, was not advocating Sell, Hold or Buy, just warning against letting the 'what does it matter now' attitude rule your judgement. Whatever decisions you make on this share, I hope they work out for you.
don't need your thanks... like other says go out and try to make few friends... pure sadness...
Or allowing them to be de-risked enough to secure financing by other means
2 sides to everything...
ive heard this song before you're like the bbc repeat after repeat, now please go down the pub and try and make a few friends,
IF they let you in.
they laid off staff for cost-saving, is that not obvious? you hanging around here with 0p interested, why do I think the sp is 3.5p I believe that's the first thing I have said!
ibb, I do understand you looking for something cheap before you throw your lunch in but the least you can do is stop repeatedly talking the one side of the story.
Well said Fred...
Woolverstone - I basically agree with illbetabuck which is unusual! It’s all about that £11k left and not what’s gone. But just to say you’re not on your own - a lot of us are in the same boat and in spite of all that gets thrown at us by some weirdos on here we all just did our best - and I still believe what’s happened with Sirius has not been helped by Brexit, Elections and everything else that’s been going on. Sirius deserves to come good - it’s achieved so much, got such huge potential and if there’s any justice in this world it will and all of it’s SH’s that have stuck by it will benefit as well
I'm once again going to have to agree with IBAB.
The fact that you invested £44000, is an irrelevance now. The decision can only be made on today's information. Would you invest £11000 - if you think this will increase 10% then keep it, £12,100 is better than £11,000, regardless of the £44,000 starting point.
My (limited) understanding of the best investors is that they don't consider emotion, just look at the cold, hard facts. We should all try to do that, regardless of how challenging that is.
Mr Math I agree the what does it matter attitude does kick in when you are well down like I am. But the logic bit is hard to figure. CF was confident of raising funding the last time and is still confident I believe this time. But who knows which way it will go. I don't see ICL helping us for one.
woolverstone13, ask yourself, are we in a better position now compare with few yrs ago? why you have invested the amount of £ back then?? what has been changed since then??? yes BODs lack of financial planning, but importantly they have recognized it now hence a better approach to raising funds in phases. Look at the facts, we still have the same physical resources(YES physical), we have board market demands... have a look at the progress of images/videos we have made in the last few yrs... simple facts! whatever the decision GL

It didn't take much to convince you, maybe you had already made up your mind and you just needed a nudge, so you asked the question that started the thread and bingo........
Personally I would not sell, you only lose your money if you sell,I only buy high risk shares, like FARON,it was in a similar circumstance last year when the drug failed, because of a technical hitch, they sorted it and already it’s double bagged with much more to come.I see Sirius as the same, rock bottom price and huge potential, once funding is in place,it’ll be a money printing share,
Everyone has got their own take on things DYOR
When you're down a lot it's easy to lose perspective on the value of your remaining investment, since it's now only a fraction of your original. A sort of 'what does it matter now' mentality can set in. But this attitude is born of emotion, whereas to be successful at investing you must always consider the current situation and facts with an air of detachment and logic.
Thanks ballers if I lost my investment totally it would not change much
Why do the big investors never budge???
Best answer yet 11k in the pocket is better than nothing come xmas
No
"I would suggest sell. They’ve caused you a significant loss already due to poor planning."
Tut tut tut..............zoeperkins, so you have little or no believe that SM will turn things around?
