I'm with you Fred.
I've got a holding that is towards the upper end of what i'm comfortable with when it comes to portfolio percentage.
That said this is the share that i'm least worried about. I'm happy with where the progress is, although not necessarily the current share price. There was always going to be fluctuations when it came to big milestones, and ST2 finance was always going to see the biggest volatility.
As before, 2025 is where my eyes are. If divi's are anywhere near where i calculate they could be I'll get getting a return of 20%+ of my average buy in price. Thats firmly in my risk/reward window
I think I’m just thinking a bit differently to some - don’t get me wrong it’s a very big deal for me! But I don’t think it all depends on this week - I always thought they’d use all the time available to get best deal - I do agree timing of what’s going on worldwide is important but no one will be more aware of that than BOD and that’s what they get paid for. I just refuse to worry unless I really have to - there’s enough to worry about without that. Plus I don’t believe at this stage they would be so proactive in hiring new students/people with all the publicity we’ve seen. They’d find some way to tone that side of it down. Plus we’ve seen a big panic from the market over the last months - comparatively quiet now when this should be the most panicky time. I can only write what I think - obviously a view from someone just observing very generally . As long as an investor I’m still on track for my 5-10 year timeline after any news I’ll be relatively laid back - if I’ve got it very wrong I’ll be shocked and obviously will call myself naive and will have to live with it
Just a view, but i think they would not be posting new jobs, they would slow up recruitment. in the past few weeks we have seen an increase in jobs posted, i think it is postitive......
I think they are the same us we are. They crack on on the assumption that they won't fail, but they don't know any better than us.
Would SM be advertising new job vacancies if they were about to fail?
Looks like the below list have been posted today.
