I have also unloaded just over a fifth of mine, still pondering get shut of the lot but it appears be creeping up atm??
grappa, Same here, I lost a good chunk, at least I got 10k back. Happy with my decision ( I Think)
I hope for those holding on there is a better offer. I personally sold today. Heart said hold head said sell.
A quote from Jim Cramer;
"Bulls make money. Bears make money. And pigs get slaughtered."
With this mind I decided to sell out of my position being breakeven and call it a day. I brought into Sirius at around 12p (even through I have been watching this company since 2016). so I knew the risks ahead. I managed to bring my average down to around 5p. I really wanted this to be a LT position (especially after years of being sold a pipe dream) for me but with today announcement I feel like they are definitely selling out so I am choosing to more on. If it not going to be a long term investment (10+ years) then I am not interested. Whoever the buyer is I will do some research into them and see if they are worth my money.
It a shame because I did believe in this project and would have been happy to stick along got the ride with CF if I did not feel like he was selling us out.
Anyway for the remaining LTHs I wish you all good luck and I hope another bidder makes a flashy white knight appearance.
If somebody was considering a counter-offer, there would inevitably be rumours, and the share price would be higher than AAL's offer. If the price does creep above, say, 5.6-5.7, then we can start to hope for a higher bid.
Woolverstone - your 12 p would be so nice for so many people!
It's sad but if an offer of 12p did come in, I would dance a jig....
I truly believe that this is a Tier 1 project with great potential and profit going forward. The offer of 5.5p is now confirmed so all interested parties will know what they have to do to snap this up at a rock bottom price. I am holding fast as I believe that another if not several interested parties will now show their hand and can see another bid coming in at 7 to 8p with a battle ensuing and a final price of 12p. No point in selling now at 5.5p. This is an opportunity to reduce ones losses.
