"Surprised that the Rothschilds are not lurking in the back ground"
And they can stay lurking. Nat Rothschild made a right hash of Bumi.
...scotman. Nice! I've actually cycled to Ronda from San Pedro before up 'el madrinal' a few year back. The view from that bridge, mental! And that 30 minutes down hill ride back to San Pedro reminds me a bit like the SXX share price since i bought in!!
Surprised that the Rothschilds are not lurking in the back ground. And surprising,he has not tapped them up.they are invested in commodity companies.
If offering 15p wouldn't be better put 500m and make money long term .or even more common sense wait, and pay less.
Right there dinger,Like you having a brand new car for nothing, and arguing to pay for it crazy.
Molkeys, were would SXX get the money from to offer a 15p per share buy out? If its someones elses money wouldn't they just want it for themselves??
Can't see 15p bail out ,so worth, buying Monday for a best part 4 Bagger, coming up. can't see it myself.
If the Mail article is fake news the Company MUST put out an RNS on Monday morning refuting it, else there could be blood on the streets.
Good question there Molkys. IMO( worthless) there would be a flood leaving with 15p shares in their pockets because loads paid as little as 3p. Who could blame them. Maybe if I had paid 3p I would probably take a profit. I’m not sure.
If I'm honest I would jump at the chance to bail at 15p after the last few weeks simply I'm exhausted from the Tit for Tat brigade, I don't know what's resl and what's not now. All the very best though people.
Now the mood on the board has settled I wonder if an argument for private ownership could be supported here. I wonder how the moaners, the short-termists, the get rich quick brigade et al would feel if the board offered, say, a 15p a share get out now offer prior to a de-listing. Of course, those with longer-term views, the dividend seekers, would want full disclosure as to how the shafts and remaining infrastructure were to be financed. In addition, full information with regard to any future strategic partner involvement would need to be detailed as well as any date for returning to a PLC. Thus we would be able to do our own due diligence. Now that would be an interesting RNS. Indeed, I would welcome such an RNS.
He may have been an excellent banker Maximus but I’ll take more convincing he’s an excellent CEO. Different kettle of fish.
Relentless attack from all sides Yuri.f. Anyone of a nervous disposition should turn away. This gets more interesting day by day. It makes you wonder if money( or indeed how much) changes hands in order to rattle investors. I look forwards to Monday now more than ever. What next?
Bellers
It’s bad enough being stabbed in the back by the tracksuit basement crew in here, without the CEO doing something like this.
I don’t share the optimism, that just because the company says this is all a misunderstanding, that all will be ok.
It was only last week CF was complaining (rightly one my view) about some of the dipsticks on these BBs, then he does this.
If I was an II I wouldn’t touch Sirius with a barge pole with a lose mouth like this at the helm.
Still fuming!
It's an incredible amount of pressure some interested parties are putting on inexperienced shareholders
via fake mass media, paying cheap journalists, taking everything out of context, twisting facts,
shifting bias, forming specific opinion, pushing everyone to quit.
Normally if company is in real trouble - shorters would simply have to wait for natural course of events to get low SP
but with SXX - it seems so artificial and a lot of efforts&finances put into it.
Someone really trying so hard to take hands on company for cheap.
I said it earlier Maximus. If he keeps firing off rounds one will go through his foot. Thankfully i.r are on the job and thankfully that article was not out on a Monday morning. :-(
Well said, Max.
What a complete clusterf***k.
I have supported CF in most of my posts, but this is really unbelievably stupid.
When you speak to the media, particularly the gutter press, you are extremely careful and guarded in what you say. I have had extensive experience at this. One of the first things you are taught about handling media is to expect anything you say to be taken out of context, particularly anything controversial.
He clearly said something about taking the company private, in whatever context. Only a complete imbecile would go down that road with a tabloid paper.
People here are so obsessed with the bloody SP they are blind to the bigger picture.
We are looking for strategic investors are we not? What do you think that this sort of c***k up says about our CEO?
Naive? Stupid? Both?
It may not affect the SP on Monday, but I’m not convinced of that, but it is the wider hidden consequences of the perception of a company looking for investment that we should all be concerned about.
And yes I’m still in for my sins, (albeit at a reduced level) and that is why I’m so bloody annoyed.
Now that would be interesting with regards to share_talks 10:50 post Teaye72..........!

So many people want this to fail...
That makes me want it to succeed all the more.
Just been looking around twitter etc.
Some people are still unaware of the fact the daily mail took CF's words out of context / twisted his words.
