Doing all the right things in all the right places. A very good set of results, good dividend growth and the usual cautious optimism going forward having had the opportunity to take a look at the pipeline for the first 3 months of this year.
There you go Redchilly, 875 achieved. Interested to know where you stand now....buy, add, sell or hold? Personally, I am happy to hold until the results which I believe will make for very pleasant reading. They do like to be particularly cautious in their statements with regards to the future but have a habit of outperforming.
Looking encouraging redchilly. I suspect we may be rising into the publication of results. I just wonder whether there maybe a special dividend in the offing?

We agree again sain@vision. They are in all the right places doing the right things. I have a warm glow today having topped up post Brexit after the main board bought some significant shares demonstrating their belief and knowledge of how the business was performing.
Savills are a class act with a reputaion to match Head and shoulders above listed competitors Grown theiri buiness organicaly and incrementally unlike CWD with their scattergun approach now paying g the price as they are unwinding it
Doomsday merchants pre - brexit forecasted UK builders would slump. Also that £ to share the same fate. Well, surely a low £ means our Eastern friends are now to snap up London at bargain prices? Which means higher turnover for the likes of SVS and healthy commissions. As for builders, demand will stay high for years.
don't think residential figures will look great for 2015... will 2016 be any better?
Hope the market appreciates when it opens up tomorrow that Foxtons and Savills are chalk and cheese .Cant imagine the fine upstanding chaps at Savills ever taking property management kickbacks
I must vent. Held these for 7/8 years. No price movement!! Sold in December. Then finally last 4/5 months the mother of all rallies. Unbelievable. I should stay away from investing!! Not happy.
Savills beefs up rural presence with Smiths Gore acquisition: Property company Savills announced a deal to buy Smiths Gore – a rural property specialist.
Savills Chief’s pay jumps by 33% ahead of expansion push: Jeremy Helsby, Chief Executive of the property adviser Savills, has seen his pay jump 33% after launching the biggest expansion programme in the company’s history.
capital tranasaction market will contract by 20% ahead of the election.
sells?
Hi. Am just looking at Savills as a possible investment. From what I've quickly looked at, the dividend was 10p for 2013 but appears to double to 20p+ for 2014. Whats the reason for this please ??
Please not back down to 600P please- !! thought we would be touching 700p finally after all these years!
and It was...
any comment on the numbers ? look really good to me and market seems pleased on what is a general down morning.
this can only go up...
Most decent shares dropped anything up to 4% today. WOW this SVS showed how much it would have risen today only for Ukraine crisis which i dare say MM's are playing on.
Agreed. Good year results coming this month. Expect very good dividends for shareholders. Share price rise coming.....
Obviously won't be buying dead on 8am if markets are going to drop then I buy in on dip Pity, imo this is ready to fly north.
I will be buying this on Monday morning with expectation to make a quick fire 5% - 10%.
going nowhere recently !
Its started and will carry on now till mid March...DYOR
