Have not sold any myself. I find I trap myself out of 100% on many occasions just for a quick turn. Sitting for 6 months minimum.
Have any profit takers got a price in mind to get back in and what happens if it continues blue for the next few days?
Do you still try a trade, buying in much higher if that happens? Cheers NR
Yep Volcano - take profits offered up. STOB is very likely to provide another trading opportunity over the coming days and weeks.
G
yes but i hope people took profits as we go up , just come back from a long walk and i am pleased i did.
Lol glass half empty - doh that should have been.
Will buy on future dips.
One of my favourite trading shares. No stamp duty and good daily swings.

Quite a few posters here with a glass half full in the back end of 2020.
So pleased I put my hands over my ears, and continued trading dips.
Have pretty much doubled my money on a couple of trades. Have taken a little off the table this morning and kindly accepted the generous profits served up.
That said still have a decent no of shares in here.
Am wondering whether those talking it down on here were traders looking for buy opportunities or people who couldn't see a strong term recovery play.
Would still like to see news on the sale of Stobart Air.
Git to be in it to win it !

Yes the market does move unexpectedly and more so in individual shares. Must have been a lot of Investors doubting on the side that have been flushed out into buying. A decent RNS would really underpin expectations.
Me neither, they have been lagging, but with the current and likely to be increasing restrictions I was expecting it to dip.
wow - STOB 36.29 +5.64 +18.40%
i didn't see that coming
With the vaccine roll out and expected lifting of lock downs and restrictions later this year, I would think the market is buying ahead for that and STOB fits the bill to benefit. It's been lagging the rally amongst medium size companies like the Buses/Rail etc.
Those shares picked up sub 20p back in the Autumn look good trades,
Got to be in it to win it !

Let's hope the new name brings better fortunes for this company...oh, and brings us a fortune :)
STOB 33.68 +3.03
it is going the right way ,nice
Change of Company Name to Esken Limited and Notice of General Meeting
The name Esken is derived from an old English word meaning to 'ascend, climb and rise.'
you never know this could help the share price to follow the company name, lol
Volcano - EMG has been on a lovely run - looks like it broke 1.50 again earlier today before a little profit taking.
I bought back into SGE again today @ 5.74, hoping for a little run up to it's ex div day on the 14th. next Thursday. hoping to see 6.00 next week - we'll have to see.
With STOB the latest Richard Griffiths top up is interesting, must be an expectation there that the Stobart Air sale will come to pass. No news yet though, and the days pass by.

here and over EMG as well.
Darren Buffer - nothing wrong with taking some profits off the table. STOB is one if those shares that's very likely to offer another trading opportunity in the very near future

Every vaccine = a positive for Stobart. Soon to be 2m positives a week.
got 29.6 for a chunk I'd bought at 22 and couldn't resist.
Hoping to buy back in at 27 but not fully convinced - I've got a few of those calls wrong recently.
Do think it's done a lot of upward movement and is due a little profit taking so let's see.
Those of us buying at Sub 20p and upwards in early Nov. seem to have done ok. Notvtoo shabby at all in fact.
Some deffo sitting on very nice paper profits.
Did require putting hands over ears here and singing blah blah blah to drown out the less than positive views from those with a glass half full view.
Strange how the ADFVB chat is much more positive.
Richard Griffiths continues to add.
I've not changed my strategy, buying on dips and day trading.
We still await news on a Stobart Air sale.
gla
G
wow there is your 50%
STOB 30.23 +2.08 +7.39%
HNY Volcano, yep STOB moving up alongside another beaten up cyclicals.
The ADFVN chat is far more +ve than in here, though I'm not sure, if they are mainly dip buyers, as there is no discussion around the key short term challenge for the BOD here, namely to find another new home for Stobart Air asap.
Still glass half full or glass half empty, it has to be said that STOB still offers short term trading opportunities.

STOB is up 30% in few weeks based on what, that is stock market for you , lol
Hello fellow shareholders,
I wonder with a Brexit deal now seemingly agreed and Southend Airport putting much effort into Covid 19 protection maybe this company will be able to make headway back into profitability - any genuine response?
Moreover what a great opportunity, having got passed the rail business onto new owners (but hopefully the £2.7 million will be received as potentially outstanding payment to help with liquid equity), now available to the BOD to take this company into new areas. Yes Stobart Energy has proved beneficially but maybe opportunity get into renewables to offset the Airport environmentally?
ftse futures are down on yesterdays close !!!
