Still don't have my shares on DeGiro. At the beginning of October I got an email from them with the following:
"STELLAR DIAMOND has announced that they will be delisting from the LSE to the ASX.
Clients can choose to transfer their position to the ASX for 25.00 EUR. The deadline for this transfer is 12/10/2018 at 17:30 CET.
Please be aware that the fee for trading on the ASX is 10.00 EUR + 0.068% per transaction.
Clients who do not accept the transfer offer will be moved to a non-tradable position."
After confirming that yes, I don't want to lose my shares and my money I got a confirmation email:
"Dear Sir,
I can confirm that your subscription to this corporate action has been recorded. No further action is required from you at this time.
If you have any further questions please get in contact."
Nothing since then...I still see the Stellar Diamonds shares on my account and don't have access to the Newfield Resources shares on the ASX. Today I've sent them another email to ask what's going on. Quite annoying really!
wow! the share dropped 25% then ... up 10% ... then settled at up 3.7% ...
GREAT news from NWF ... shame the market is generally subdued ...

RNS...

...on ASX today for NWF, hopefully this sees the start of a sustained rise back to previous levels for us loyal ones!
found out what is needed. The shares transferred were no in UK CREST system but in Aussie CHESS system, so I need to find an aussie broker to transfer these into.....
Ive been investing in STEL for a few years and im another holder with "stuck" NWF shares I cant do anything with (not that I want to sell)
Originally held my STEL shares in lloyds who did let me know they dont support ASX trading when the corporate action was announced. I didnt quite understand what that would mean and figured I would just transfer them out sometime in future......
Now 5 months later my NWF shares are still stuck in my closed Lloyds account, whilst I try to find another platform that can transfer in the NWF shares. There seems to be something not straightforward with the way the shares are held as so far Ive tried; AJB, HL, and ii and all of them start of saying "sure we can transfer in" then when I open an account and try it a few weeks later "sorry we cant accept these shares, please sell and transfer as cash" ....well I would if Lloyds could sell them.
Seems there was no issues if you held STEL and they became NWF and were with the providers that support ASX trading.
So currently looking for another platform that could take a transfer in of my NWF shares. I think the problem is something to do with the legacy (or maybe just different Aussie) system the new shares were issued on and all the UK providers only support the same system.
Can anyone else shed any light as to their understanding of whats going on and know any other brokers to try? maybe an Australian broker perhaps?
TIA
bogie
Can't speak for others Gazshot but I did indeed, been through this whole painful process with them from Stel through to NWF, just glad I am now in control of my holding! Bring on some price soaring, could do with hitting around 0.17 to be 100% up on my average holding pre-takeover, and would like a good 0.26/0.27 to make it a decent 3-bagger!
Not wanting to sell NWF at these prices "happyplace", just want to be able to when the time comes.
Strange that A.J Bell told me they couldn't help, did you guys hold stel shares with them previously?
At a 52 week low, this is quite capable of hitting .16 and above on news like it did on the last RNS. Personally holding for .20 as again I think very attainable here :)
Finally.... for us at AJ Bell.... It’s been a painful process but I’ve only just seen my corporate action email.... Now we can deal but only by phone order. So let’s see the price soar, can’t see why anybody would be selling now at $0.13, let’s hope for a swift return to 18/19....
Should have a decent RNS update soon.
Hi all, just received a corporate action message confirming that the transaction of STEL to NWF shares has now been completed (NWF shares now fully held with overseas agent) and as such can be traded over the phone.
Won't be selling up yet until the NWF share price rises to a decent level from my average STEL price, but good to know we can now sell as and when we want to!
Why is everyone looking to sell, they are completing the feed shortly and have found a load of diamonds. This was over .40 not long ago. Could be a good one imo
Bertie, I held my Stel with Barcs and they didn't even give me a choice of how to proceed. They simply disappeared from my isa and share account and I received a share certificate from Oz which nobody over here wants to deal with, hence my actions explained below.
Sean, If you go back a couple of pages you will see the conversation comeonvog and myself had, (easier than me saying it all again).
Basically open an account, scan your share certificate to them if you've got one with your sell price instructions. I tried all the brokers in UK and none would help. The Ozzies gave clear instructions on how to get the certificate dematerialized but seems it's too much bother for any of our lot. So this is the only option I have been given so far.
Hope it helps.
Gazshot, can you explain that a little more fully? You mean phone up this guy and leave instructions with him to sell your shares (regardless of who you is holding your shares)?
I'm with Hargreavers Lansdowne who have put a facility in place for selling ex-STEL now NWF shares but was unsure of whether you could leave a limit order with them. The spread is too wide and the recent SP has been too poor to leave simple sell instructions overnight.
Last RNS from the company was pretty decent but volume has been very, very low here compared to the number of shares in issue so I'm not sure if a realistic price is always what we see (to buy or sell).
Anyone else here sold and did they do it via HL and with a limit order etc?
Is anyone else having problems with Barclays ... i.e. receiving NWF stock and then transferring it?
Barclays has "lost" around £20k of my stock!
Sad face!

Seek = sell !
Hi guys, how's everyone doing with the conversion ? All getting sorted I hope.
I gave up chasing everyone up so went with comeonvog advice, if anyone is struggling, I would recommend this avenue.
Bit more expensive to seek your shares in NWF but you can set a limit and they will sell for you at that price.
Cheers comeonveg, all sorted.
Just biding my time till we are back to 20s hopefully ?
Much appreciate your help with this !!
All sounds very positive and nice to get an update. I have signed up for updates directly with Newfield but wasn't sent that rns. Hopefully once feed completed there will be more interest as very lower level shares buys/sells at present but going in the right direction now:)

Wow ! That was lucky ! I was looking for you at Glen and was gonna contact you. Thanks, I will try again, What about phone number etc did you just put anything in there ?
Nobody, but nobody will assist in this fiasco ! I cannot find anyone to dematerialize this share certificate from Advanced Share Reg in Oz ! HL, TD Waterhouse, (now ii) Degiro, IG ...the list goes on. I am totally at a loss as to where to go now and totally pizzed off !
Anyone else getting anywhere ?
