I guessed there's no future with this company, there never really was. Under Landau we thought there was a very good chance it would get a real move on but it was all convincing Spin and BS. Everything was plausible about how it was panning out and what he said. Obviously, it didn't work out, but neither has many AIM shares. What Pees me off is the way he went about it. A real Crook and years ago, I put a few lines of a well known poem on here which was very fitting.
For my losses, I can only get SOME value from what I gambled if I see him spend a minimum of FIVE years in the Nick and watch him walk out of there one day with very short, awkward steps!!
"There was a crooked man and he had a crooked smile
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked style.
He had a crooked cat that caught a crooked mouse,
They all lived together in a crooked little house....etc..."
I will hang on until I quit my business, then sell up in maybe a year or two, that's if they have been 'Energised' and disappear :(
Sorry to hear that news Holly, Gordon came across as a decent man who wanted to help us. RIP
I understand Gordon died in February I went to one of the meetings in Derby last year...a real eyeopener about range and lots of other companies...Gordon was part of pandoras box investigations and I must get in touch with them see where there up to....
Another one who lost a packet here, remember a guy called Gordon Bowden was investigating RRL he held a meeting in Derby some time ago - anyone know if he's still on the case?
suppose the fact that Landau's in court might help his case
Nice to see some longvterm holders here that have gone through all the "jam tommorow" this company have spun for years.
@Photo, the company as it stands has no vision of the future in any shape or form, read the last 6 months of RNS's if you haven't done so already.
They are basically a failed O&G company stuck with over valued assets that no one wants given the current climate in O&G, couple that with very little hard cash and no future plans in the public domain I'm sorry to say nothing seems to have changed for small investors.
Nice posts Photo. I'm another flagging survivor from those years. I've read posts from decent people on this board - many thanks to them. So here's a challenge to the current bod. Can you prove your worth and make something of this company? There are a lot of private individuals who have supported you. What have you got to offer?
Where is the official announcement?
If it's not in the public domain it's not official, no better than a fairy story based upon past experience of the total bull this company have given everyone here over the years.
I'll believe it when I see it officially released so feel free to post the link I and many others cant find.
Please don't ask for me to email the company given all the promises over the years that came to nothing I'll believe it if they publish it in public. They fact they have not done so suggests to me it just more smoke and mirrors, let's face it why would they not publish something this positive? Perhaps given all the failed promises and investigation into their dealings over the years is stopping them if it's not true? More false information would only add fuel to the fire burning under them already.
In my world no news is no news and I'll believe what is posted legally in public not via conversation. If it's not written down it wasn't said, rule number one in any business.
Cheers photo. Hopefully I will get a small payout if that happens lol. Certainly not holding my breath for anything here though now! From what I can see the court proceding has nothing to do with my original investment in RRL. Not selling a single share here as there is litrally no point. I need the share price to be over £12 to get my money back lol must have been lots of placings over the years!
PS. Ran out of space! I'm having to redecorate my entire shop/office premises...Lease obligation, so I MUST crack on! I'm past retiring age now but was only but was only 48 ish when I came here!! OMG!!!
Thank God for the self employment (Corona Virus) Benefits, I'm thousands better off...twice my losses here at least, so there's some consolation there. I hope Landau's Prosecutors make an average payment to all holders from his held assets and divide it by those who are now left and held over the last 15 years?! (Flying Pigs?)
Cheers all.

Oilornothing;
There were numerous staunch RRL Holders here, but after Puntland and all the utter Cr*p and yarns that Landau spun, I was in no doubt that this was slowly going nowhere. Many of the holder were in touch with the NEW RRL and one of the woman that gave us plenty of fair and reasonable updates, but divulging nothing.
Meeting were held and we had a sort of RRL 'Club' whereby FAQ's were put the to the board on a regular basis, exch Bullet Point was addressed accordingly, but there was only so much info. they could give us. By this time Landau had gone along with the money and 'getting involved' with the financials from one or two other company's which he was in charge of.
I think the 'Club' has been disbanded as none of the original victims are here now, although they may be lying low? We arranged meetings in pubs and drinks from time to time, but I never did the London stints as it was too far from home (South Coast). I think that with a few changes of CEO to present day, and a piddling share price and consolidations, or whatever happened, many just bailed out but I hung on in anticipation, but I will never get my 24.9p back. The .9 maybe, but I think everyone gave up, so over the last few years, I rarely even bothered to look.
There were so many plans being made on and off, that it rather seemed that nobody quite knew what was really going on!!
It's like Boris's, "Stay alert...Control the Virus...Save Lives"...WTF Does it meaaaaan?!! There a sketch online for that somewhere! As I no have no clue at all what's going on here, I just watch the SP every now and again to find a good time to take my £6000 (less 99.999% loose change).
I'm surprised this hasn't delisted by now with all the chopping and changing that I have seen. The only winners here maybe those who trade on the Highs/lows, but this isn't one for the LTH. Financial Suicide is probably the outcome. I'm also in ADME which is also rubbish, so my share dealing days are well and truly numbered!
Sell a couple of things on ebay, I can g'tee you will probably make more in a week there, than here in a year depending on what you sell or your investment here.
The AIM is really for Traders and CEOs. Most small Oilers come and go or delists within ten years, so the CEOs win hand over fist and they couldn't give a toss about their shareholders once the CEO comms & sweet talk is over with us, and the money starts coming in, courtesy of our investment. The CEO's colour changes and they become non communicative and a Bunch of A.. Holes. Most are tarred with the same brush.
I have been on the AIM since 2003 living in hope but I have won a total of c. £2000 which brings my net loss to about £4000.
My sound advice is to leave the AIM alone unless you are **** Sure you are on to a winner or can afford to lose, that would mean insider trading! Put your cash into a ten year Bond which g'tee's you a payout and it will probably do better than most AIM shares unless you are
'As for the tax liability I find it hard to believe this does not sit firmly with STA given LO have not paid the final installment, until that is paid surely it is still STA's responsibility, perhaps why full payment has been withheld until after the court case concludes? It also explains why neither company have released an RNS on this, smells a bit like scaled marine animal that goes well with chips too me!'
Nightgaunt, as I have already said several times, if you email STA they will tell you that the tax liability has gone with RRTL. They issued an announcement to say the sale had completed, so that is not in doubt either. It is absolutely certain that there is no further liability, I even published the text of the reply STA sent me.
Good to see posts from people who are well aware of how much cr@p this company have put people through over the years, myself included.
Anyone ramping this is either mental or has their own agenda.

Sound familiar. I had 410,000 RRL @ about 7p average in 2010/2011. Luckily I had successfully traded RRL to get to that point so capital outlay was GBP 15,000 in total. My holding got to GBP 97,000 at one point and I told my wife "when they get to GBP 100,000 I'll sell" Now worth GBP 159.16 - a "loss" of GBP 96,840.84. Ho hum...............
Photo - I am in a similar situation to that. I had £70k that i lost on that puntland saga. I still hold all of the shares! I swiched off investing after that but have come back this year. My shares are down from 70K and are now worth 90 quid! I have no idead what has happened to the directers or the story since the collapse as i have been in the wilderness. I would like to hear the stroy now though after reading your post ! GL
I have been here for 12 years with an original buy price of 24.9p, this has cost me almost £6,000. I bought in from what I learned from my research and those who were so Pro RRL, they were almost married to Landau....ALL lies, and we were caught, Hook Line and Sinker. A friend has lost a SIX figure sum with Landau's BS. After a year or so and watching one or two of Landau's Interviews, I wrote in on this site and told people this guy was a cheat and liar. I could tell by his body language and the way he spoke.
I've dealt with many people over 50 years, mostly the General Public, and I can spot a bad egg a long way away. Landau even spoke to another guy who used to post regularly on this site and he was chatting for some time and was telling him what was happening and going to happen. I did mention at the time to be careful because CEOs do NOT discuss their business movements with anyone as it is of course insider trading. I also told him that, this could be a scam. This mate lost £60,000 UNLESS he sold early. By this time, I was down from 25p to 6p and should have bailed way back, but this Board was very Bullish, around the time of the Puntland drills with a view to a 'Gusher' It was DUSTERS, the bloody lot.
Landau was a qualified Barrister and clearly a bad one at that. My guess, for fraud and theft of this magnitude Landau & Co will get a minimum of 7 years, perhaps to serve 5. He should also be made to pay ALL shareholders their losses from and to a certain time period due to lies and deceit.
When he goes down, he's going to come out a changed man. Here's the clue... . o O
Rare I ever write here now, but if DBW or Erratic Phil still look in, hope you are both OK. I still hold 'RRL' shares to the rough value to buy a decent Curry and a Pint. As we are not allowed to use expletives here, all one can do is think what Landau is?
Cheers to all holders. Photo'
