Dip, thanks, but that link was to presentation in March........i assumed from the discussion here I had missd something more recent. My mistake, I guess.
Its clear that the strategy is a JV or Sale to a large CRMC, the last RNS on the CS Project pretty much spelled that out. For all we know they are finalising an agreement right now and an RNS to tell us that is days away. Alternatively that deal could still take months or beyond.
I do think thats why we aren't seeing endless updates at this stage. No matter how useless you think PC is at the moment I am sure he would have cracked on with low cost mining and secured a few off takes, even if just small ones, if there wasn't a larger deal in the offing.
This is the problem with shares like this, nothing at all happens until it does and when thats combined with years of nothing happening before that then investors like us get very impatient.
Excellent post dip.
I misssed webinar,,,,,can any one point me at it?
Thanks
IMO guys, I think the main problem with the presentation was that there was a lack of clarity on a detailed strategy going forward as to how exactly PC is looking to monetise the CS Project. A bit more detail on the alternative roadmaps might have helped at least reassure some of us that they are focused and dynamic. Not saying he isn't trying his utmost behind the scenes - just that he wasn't able to communicate that to us.
Looking at it from the perspective of either a LTH or someone looking to invest as a newbie - I didn't get that belief that revenue is coming in the short term. While we don't want a slick salesman who might suggest impropriety - we do need him to perhaps co-host with someone a bit more able at 'selling' the company.
Marketing and PR isn't such an issue in general as this is more a direct approach to a select few prospective clients, but overall I remain unimpressed with SRES BOD in terms of dynamism, commercial nous, ability to generate a presence. Thank god we have people like Alistair Ford who have noticed us.
Really don't care overmuch about Claytons and Bakers - plenty of peers with similar projects of a as much potential in those jurisdictions - and not expecting JV's unless more exploration is conducted - but hopefully I am completely wrong!
However - I still love the CS Project and remain convinced that the market demand and pressure on these companies to adhere more to ESG responsibilities will pay off for us, just going to take time and not all of the blame is on PC's shoulders there TBF.
Pc took it as a presentation and to explain pozz and per. Presentation was fab if you are looking at buying in. Otherwise in my view pish as all I had to read was rns. I have a funny feeling cs project will take years to sell. It has to be sold due to all gone quiet
Thanks roadster for your views , yes totally agree about the webinar , nothing new for long term holders , unfortunately it wasn’t an open q & a session . Yes got to admit pc has the personality of a housebrick . In business I learnt that you can never trust anybody who mutters mmm! Mmm! Mm! Before an answere to a question . The more I look at the webinar that’s all pc mutters , we will see but over time respect for this man has eroded to nothing
