Ah yes - I stand corrected Dubs - not going to lie, I am barely thinking about SRES these days and starting to forget the details in all truth.
Happy to let this play out, we have a mining permit - most don't get that far :-)
Ref Dip666 comment "Safe they screwed up for sure and cost us time - can't deny that and no one is"
Am guessing this comment refers to the problems processing the 100ton Perlite sample.
This has zero to do with Pozz and the CRMC who ground the 500 ton Pozz sample recently in their plant.
To best of my knowledge nothing has been done on our side to hold up the Pozz testing.
All the delay is on CRMC side and we are told that Covid is part of the story there.
I accept the Perlite processing delay holds things up for Perlite but it seems pretty clear to me that PC does not want to start mining at CS just for Perlite. Perhaps signing up Perlite offtakes would 'tie our hands' in terms of for example and outright sale of CS to a CRMC. So maybe this is a clue to Patrick's intentions, we certainly don't seem in a rush to process the new 200 ton sample do we!!
Yes the SP drop is disappointing but unless there is a leak which I doubt it is not based on any news so it is all to play for still for Bakers and CS.
At work we are just about to finalise a contract we have been working on for a long time. All of the Commercial terms were agreed a long time ago but then the lawyers got involved on various parts of it, its taken just short of 17 months to conclude and this is a deal worth around £5m so hopefully not as big as the one PC is doing.
Don't get me wrong I am not suggesting it should take that long as the the type of company I work in naturally has complicated terms but these things take time.
Also of course we would have signed an NDA. I have to sign NDA's before a company will even send us over information for us to quote on.
Safe, none of us on this board have any knowledge as what is going on behind the scenes, Just have a bit of patience, your constant criticism is wearing. Due diligence takes time, especially if they are complicated deals, with Covid restrictions to contend with to add to the complications. Have you been in business and have any understanding of the paperwork that each side has to be signed off, before giving market sensitive information?
That is the problem Safe - we don't know everything going on but I would have assumed the CRMC has requested an NDA - I'd be surprised if they hadn't honestly.
Certainly the service my old company used to provide to HEI's and BSO's would require myself and my business partner to sign an NDA during negotiation stages due to the inherent advantage a competitor might gain from knowing they were thinking of utilising our services for their own client base. This is a similar scenario I would argue?
Unfortunately - unless PC does have other suitors and isn't tied in to exclusivity then yes - we have to wait and see mate but while they don't need us 'tomorrow' - ultimately they will so I tend to think it isn't a case of if but when.
Fair point Dipp666, but as far as I am aware we have not signed any exclusive NDA and surely they are not the only potential offtake customer or possible acquisitor. It is not healthy to put all your eggs in one basket, and a bit of competition in the mix always helps. As you say, the CMRC do not need us tomorrow - do we just wait and see when or even if ?
Safe they screwed up for sure and cost us time - can't deny that and no one is.
But the CRMC isn't going to pander to SRES - they'll do what they deem necessary and at their own pace - we do have something of intrinsic value but not something they need tomorrow - they will take their time and play the negotiation game.
Give it till the EOY bar any bad news and evaluate is my strategy - but your money - your decision mate.
Arguing with each other won't speed things up :-)
Except its us who has to put up with your rants as you refuse to engage with him directly.
If you can't face fair and objective criticism then you should not hold a position of responsibility. It comes with the territory Twiggy, not with paper rounds ;)
It is for the drop today. A day or so ago people were getting excited about news to come, nothing has changed in the last 48 hours apart from the SP which the board don't actively control.
They are talking to a CRMC and waiting for the trial to be finished. Lets just wait that out as it appears we have a party interested enough to be considering using their own plant and go through due diligence.
I am not surprised that PC takes an issue with the toys out of the pram attitude you display on here at times.
Get a grip Twiggy ! - the BOD are not getting bashed for the 6% drop today - it is for their lack of respect for shareholders - just what has happened since we got the mining licence apart from a disastrous attempt to grind and more testing - when are we going to sign a contract for an offtake or sell the lot - lets be done with the - oh give the poor BOD more time rubbish - they have had more than enough time already !
Is annoying but doesn't seem to be based on the actual trades that have gone through.
We are all keenly waiting but its a bit pathetic to suddenly start bashing the board based on this drop.
