philjayjones,
Thanks for the first-hand info .... always best from the horses mouth as it were.
Yes, lets hope for RNS this week but not until after all the DRIPS have been processed. Once they have commissioned, it would be nice to have stabilised flow-rates that report not only R3 but Rhum as a whole too.

Ive spent plenty of time in those offices, you are alluding to possible links with info that's a little out of date is all. Marathon and Chevron are no longer there and not so sure ConocoPhillips will have much of a presence there post covid restrictions, what with no longer operating from Aberdeen.
Hill of rubislaw isn't the complex it once was really, it used to be on the outskirts of town but has long been swallowed up by Aberdeen, Anderson drive that it sits on was the original bypass. There are better accessed and appointed office locations these days that are proving much more popular.
Not that any of this really matters to be honest :-D.
Looking forward to seeing an RNS this week with a bit of luck, hopefully there has been sufficient time to test and commission the systems and start flowing. They may wait for flow rates to be fully established before reporting though, I have experience of first oil being reported a week after it actually occurred in the past.
PS ........Ithaca's former CEO (Les Thomas) recently took on a NED role in JOG

philjayjones,
"The 3 big hitters you've mentioned there have already sold up though..." this is of course true as UKNS operator, which is why I said 'more interestingly', when referencing the other 3 who have all recently made NS acquisitions either directly or in-directly.
Chevron still hold non-operated interest in UKNS. ConocoPhillips hold significant production and exploration within the Norwegian North Sea sector, and area that I understand Mitch has made reference too. I believe that Marathon Oil are the only player of the 3 who have fully exited the NS with their sale to RRE in 2019. Siccar are looking to build their business through acquisitions in high quality, producing assets or portfolios, have Delek and Dagang Nexchange finished their shopping ..... hummm !

The 3 big hitters you've mentioned there have already sold up though.
Forgot Siccar Point Energy Limited too.
Another interesting fact is we share the same office location on Hill of Rubislaw with the likes of Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil and maybe more interestingly Ping Petroleum and Ithaca Energy. Handy for those 'informal' chats over a coffee or cold beer, just saying.

The requested increase in daily production from the Rhum field, in excess of 500,000 m3, is expected to commence in July 2021....

Cheers for all your informative posts over the recent months/years NewKOTB. From a silent SQZ shareholder it’s been a bit of a slog but the screw does seem to be turning - well highlighted, as always, by your posts below. Looking forward to said RNS in coming days. All the best.
R3 is the biggest single event for Serica since the BKR deal ..... almost 4 years ago.
With Columbus online in Q4, adding ~3,500boepd net and 100% ( 66% increase) receivables from BKR in less than 6 months, CoH in excess of £100m and NO DEBT ..... going to be an exciting few months, providing no one gets their hands on our crown jewels.

Yep, heading back to Aberdeen..... time for yet another top-up ...

Looks like she may of just finished .
If so, RNS tomorrow / Friday or possibly Monday once flowing and stabilised rates .. ;-)
Appears Boka is approaching the final stage of connecting R3 3/29a-6 Xmas Tree to the Rhum sub-sea manifold, after which we can expect to increase our production estimated to be in excess of 500,000 m3 / day from R3 ..... ;-)
