SDX are a constant disappointment, as I know only too well. Morocco has so much untapped potential, hence I also hold position in CHAR, you should take a look at them if not done so already. .... as for " keeping my powder dry.." think you should re-consider imo, however if R3 proves too challenging, which btw I don't believe it will, then you may have a small window of opportunity. Still hold to my view that unless SQZ re-rates then we will be taken over, with R3 flowing it's nailed on imo.
PS. Unable to find source of the noise in the loft .... taken precautions just in case, as you do ..... ;-)

New kid.
I'm not subtlety de ramping. I'm just adding some much needed balance!
In terms of my other investments. I am heavily into SDX energy ATM. I have bought in for exposure to their drilling campaign which could have a transformational effect on the share price. I also like JSE, like this, throwing off cash... There are a few other non o and g businesses that I really like that I am slowly building a stake in.
I didn't really want to say as I have now opened myself up the "my girlfriend is sexier than yours" banter. But you asked.
Btw. I am by no means long term negative here. I have been involved since 20p, just, the reason I explained, keeping my powder dry. For the moment.
All the best.

Are the rhum 3 costs shared with no?
I'm fully expecting a tsunami of RNS's in the not too distant future .... ;-)
See Legache continuing with the subtle de-ramps, yet has failed to answer my earlier and quite material question as to where "there are better homes for my capital...", clearly there are none, hence still posting -ve comments here, wanting in at lower SP.
As FOMO, of course, as there's a real chance of not getting in sub 200p
Any temporary weakness will be bought into, as R3 is in effect and has never been, be-all and end-all for Rhum, or indeed SQZ.
Even without R3, SQZ will be looking to end 2021 with >32kboepd, >£135m CoH, no DEBT and significant tax losses with minimal decom liabilities. Either way, with or without R3, SQZ ( should it be around in Jan 2022), will be an absolute beast of a cash machine and our ~120p will be only a distant memory.
Off into the loft now ... as had strange noises late last-night emanating from there ..... !!!

There's a lot production wise riding on R3. It's unnerving there has been no proper updates. FOMO is a phycological disposition I have learned to control over the years.
It's unlikely imo they would announce it was flowing, just to immediately shut it down again.
Maybe as we get closer to ex div date you might see a bit of pressure, but until then...
Just my opinion...
No rules about anybody posting, after all it’s a public bulletin board open to anyone.
Interesting that you won’t buy back in before R3. Sounds a bit strange because I would expect a rise when announced not after so you might miss the boat?
The SP has been stagnant because not a lot has happened recently. Hopefully there should be a lot of good news in H2 to get the SP increasing.
Personally doesn’t bother me what you or everyone does with their money. I’m going to stick this out because I can see what’s coming down the tracks and in the meantime look forward to receiving the 3% div to reinvest into more shares.
ATB
But, folks, I have been involved, and will probably be involved in the future. Why can only holders comment? Try and see the other side.
I'll buy back, but not right before a lock in and certainly not before they confirm R3.
I'm not being funny guys, but the share price has spoken for itself for a long time now.
Where else... Well, who cares...
Echo that riposte to legache, NewK - I see no point in commenting upon a stock I'm not involved with.
Yes, the sp performance here has been surprisingly dull & disappointing for quite a while, post BKR but the potential remains compelling looking ahead, given the 67% revenue boost from it next year
/ Rhum 3 and Columbus upcoming with gas especially strong of late, too - you either buy into that, or you don't... sasa.
Probably dogecoin ;)
Legache,
"so there are better homes for my capital......" Never fails to amaze me how none investors continually post -ve comments on a stock they don't hold.... That aside :
As for "The management are not dealmakers..." sorry, but BKR is the reason we are now an highly cash +ve and very profitable company with no debt and receivable from said deal set to increase +67% in little over 7 months for ZERO CapEx. So you are correct in "there aren't many better cash machines on AIM.."
ACW ground-breaking BKR deal with multiple companies shows SQZ are up to the task .... as for "huge over expectation amongst PIs of a buyout...", I think you should wait and see on that score.
The annual FPS has been known about for 12 months or more now, so I disagree any weakness being related to FPS .... only unexpected issues and shutdowns are what the markets don't like.
Also "this will end up being a very good divi payer...", think you will find it already is at ~3%pa
PS. Please let us know where you deploy your capital and the reasons why its better than SQZ, love to know.
aimo & dyor
The only reason i have not taken a large bite is
1. The management are not dealmakers and there is a huge over expectation amongst PIs of a buyout. and 2. i predict it will fall a little as there a is shut down soon. Markets don't like shuts downs.
That said, with my accountant hat on - there aren't many better cash machines on AIM.
My prediction, something will give and this will end up being a very good divi payer. Just not yet so there are better homes for my capital...
You are still yet to buy back in I see legache..... lol
Our SP will continue to be tightly range bound until an offer comes in.
What happened to playing marbles and conkers
There's a new game they play now, and its called Go Bonkers !!
aimo & dyor.
almost as in R3 failure is priced in now?
This is bonkers. Gas futures approaching 70p per therm and we are still only at 1.17.
