I suppose we will know about the waiver very soon, I hope in this coming week. That will give the SP an uplift (provided we receive good news). I believe a potential new deal or acquisition will come like 'a thief at night' and could be very easy to miss out if you don't ride the volatility. After all is matter of staying invested in a profitable company with no debt.
If no deal will materialize I suppose there will be a dividend payout, I suppose!
Beginning to lose patience with this.not happy about the waiver situation, but most of all lack of return for the past year.personally I will be looking for a dividend payment shortly. My gut feeling now is that rockrose is a better play.for one no issues with waivers
Large UT once again had the last word on our closing SP, despite best effort of our friendly closing BoT.
They mean:'We have control of your company. EXTERMINATE!!!'
Only joking, I hope
And all these BOT trades and 1 codes mean what???
Even our friendly neighborhood '6 SECONDS until close" buy BoT failed today to get our SP back up.... the UT sell won the day.
Still, got another Code 1, single share buy on the stroke of closing though....lol

"... she offers me protection"
How on earth did we manage to get a trade go through at 21:49 LAST NIGHT !!!
15-Oct-19 21:49:18 134.00 157 Buy* 0.00 145.00 £210.38 O
Never seen one that late, ever !!!
Well, well, well ...... So we go ALL DAY without a single BoT 'A' trade and 4 buys come along with less than 6 SECONDS left before close.
Managed to pop the SP back above the 133.25 close we needed, until that point, the close was in doubt.
It appears to me our SP has now a guardian angel ...( for today at least ) ...lol
Thanks for your input newkotb and sasa.
I ll probably stick with Serica as hopefully another deal is imminent.I m also heavily into omega diagnostics so cant release funds there
Interesting question, that, upomega...
Serica and Rockrose are, ostensibly, very similar - both cash rich following their transformational deals and each is on the look out for another mega deal, given their burgeoning liquidity. SQZ has more production / reserves right now but RRE has more cash, leaving aside their restricted funds element which is set aside for their decom costs looking ahead - an expense that Serica doesn't have currently. That both are significantly undervalued at this point is a given.
The major difference between them for me is the management differentiation. Serica has a larger team nowadays, following more years in this business and is the more 'seasoned' accordingly and one might claim, therefore, that they're less 'gung ho' than Rockrose at this juncture.
A possible merger would likely cause a management clash, given their different styles, so I think it more likely that one might attempt to T/O the other, if no further attractive asset acquisition from a major is in the offing. By all accounts, Serica has been earnestly searching for theirs of late.
Of the two, I prefer SQZ (after a decade's involvement with it) and lay much store by the quality of management aspect but both should do very well looking ahead - I've recently taken an interest in RRE, too, in order to have an interest in both of them, fwiw...
If you can't back both 'horses' at this stage, I'd stick with Serica, myself, for the reasons stated but that's just my personal view and no recommendation's intended. DYOR etc., - sasa.
upomega,
SQZ or RRE, to me there is more than a good argument for a merger of the two given RRE position of possibly losing its BGA operator licence next July should OGA decide so and SQZ's annual quest for renewal of Rhum's.
So moving from one to another in this case, at this point in time would not make too much financial difference as I would guess the market would have wind and are pricing both companies accordingly atm should it be on the cards. aimo

Slightly off topic, but what would you consider the better investment at present. Serica or rockrose. Personally I am seriously considering switching.
Hardly a single solitary BoT trade all day until .... 2:30pm, from which point virtually 100% were BoT 'A' trades
3pm the other day also .....
Do we have interest from a US player ?
Thought our resident BoT had finally gone away today ....... but no !!!
Not a single solitary BoT trade all day until .... 3pm, from which point virtually 100% were BoT 'A' trades.
