I would put infinitely more faith in feedback from the company emanating from a group holding 60 million + shares in SOU rather than hearsay emanating from a kindly overoptimistic gentleman with rose tinted glasses who professes to have ingratiated himself with the board of SOU on a personal basis and may or may not be currently a shareholder.
Until there is some transparency PI shareholders need a Rottweiler and not a friendly lapdog.
I was wrong
finally he leaves, now let's see if he goes at the uk privately owned company
it would be hilarious
one of the worst ceo ever
+15% on the day the ceo quits
no comment

it would be a relief
but I don't think it will happen, without Sound he basically has no future, leaving alone his current payroll
think you might want to read the rns :)
Blackjake, he says that he knows nothing about the details but then he calls for more buying...
I would bet that if JP would resign tonight or tomorrow morning the share price would spike up
The wrong man on the wrong place at the wrong time and overpaid
Why doesn't he buy today?
He doesn't care about the shareholders and this so called "deal" is another example.
Apparently he worked at shell before, no previous experience in large deals... Probably no specific experience whatsoever
Crude recommending buying again - now there is a surprise! I would to see some evidence of you buying on the dips when the sp was 30p!! I have no idea whether you are a genuine guy giving poor advice/opinions, or a plant from SOU. Either way you have duped some amount of people intentionally or not.
Many here are waiting for the details about this JV...
Honestly I wait for the details about all this marketing process.
Some explanation about JJ resignation
There are too many strange things going on here.
So am I Dave. Let's see the deal in full & then debate it, here on LSE & other platforms.
Yes 100k a month for JP, somebody please buy the shares
Well whatever it is, will be in the thousands as 60% or approx 625 million shares are owned by us. Ogif and onym are pulling the strings on this deal along with Schlumberger. I'm prepared to wait for the deal details which are still being negotiated.

Jez, I have some spare cash (not a great deal) & am considering buying more shares. But every buyer on the AIM wants to feel like he is getting a bargain. I have no idea if we will go much lower - in the absence of news - but I am going to wait & see. I asked Ponkey (who I really respect as a trader) if he had bought back in & if not, what his price would be? He said he hadn't but he would at 2p...but he doesn't expect to get it. If we get 3p I will seriously consider buying more as I feel once the project is under way the only way is up. I dont see much downside from there...not medium term.
there's non sense for the shareholders to have that guy on the job dealing with our money
he protected only his a.s during these years, I bet he's doing the same even now with that unknown UK company
There is a circa of 4000 private investors from memory.
Trellis,
I have just sent you an email of support.
Gasbag
trellis,
to save yourself some hassle, might I suggest you ask for proof of shareholding from those who have e-mailed you?
the first question you wil be asked is prove how many shares you speak for.
I could easily e-mail and say 'I hold 25 million shares' would of course be complete tosh, but I'm sure you get the message.
but surely crude, you understand he's spent all day (again) posting to save us?
what a genwerous soul.
yeah, right.
Foxy, you stated "in the form of a fine" (which wont help you)........shouldnt that read...which wont help us?.......you being a shareholder an all! You must think we are all stupid! You're not one of us - you're just a very naughty boy who likes to stir things up!
If this is really happening and will become a reality then maybe have to pursue a 'confiscation order' and get the DS to sell to Shell or Total. I can't believe what is beginning to unravel infront of my own eyes. I'm getting worried!
I have to say that I am still surprised by Crudehope who STILL puts a positive spin on the current situation. However, he still does not want to entertain topping-up at 3p-4p. Ask yourself why that is? And no, it's not because he needs to move money over to his trading account. It's because he probably thinks the share price can go even lower towards the 2p mark. What was it that he told us all? "The nadir of the share price will be during December or January." How did he know this was the case? If the share price continues its southwards trajectory then there won't be a company left by February 14th. 3 months of continued radio silence is exactly what this share doesn't need right now. Crude? Much that I like you, I'll ask you what your thoughts are when this one sinks to 2p-2.5p. This 2p-2.5p price prediction was something I have already foretold - just in case I get shot down again. Others have called it too, so I am not alone.
If it is slightly 'french' then i think its big do do time for 7oaks!
Sevenoaks playing dirty games. What sort of accent did he have.
You need to remind them that it's not your fault the SP is 3.8p
Did they scream at you because you've set the group up or because you've confirmed you're going to send a constructive letter to SD and not a poison pen one to JP?
