Well said Mahatma
The board is really not a good place to be, and many of the poster boys to whom I gave some credence have followed the herd down a very muddy and unpleasant place.
The speculation is fueled by a level of "misinterpretation" deliberate or otherwise of the deal and a lack of knowledge about what has been offered and what is not possible. The deal is for the Tendrara and Meridja Licence, not for any part of Sound Energy PLC. Why would anyone think that from what has been published todate. If a hostile takeover is to happen, then 300 million shares have to be bought by this "private vampire of a company" and where is the evidence of such an event.
The bottom line for me is that SE ran out of money, even thought we had $14m in the bank in May 2019 and having missed the gas bonanza we were unable or unlikely to raise funds for future drilling.
If the deal on offer allows 23% (or 14% ) of a major gas find other than TE5 and SE are carried for that drill then I am happy to hold what is left of my shares at this low price. But I would like to see what is on offer, not have rabid speculation from no nothings who are simply venting their spleens.
PNE79 - At the end of the day only an idiot would think that they would get their full investment back now. The only point in pursuing JP et al would be to ensure they are curtailed in doing it again.
Once that document is out of the country, it will be almost impossible to stop them.
People should have been getting angry at 20p and not 3/4p, that's too late.
Put simply, at the current rate this company could have delisted by the end of this month.
PNE good statement.
Whilst constantly calling on someone else to organise an action group, facebook sites, media campaigns, force an EGM, hire/chip in for a barrister, complain to the FCA etc etc. Full of ideas, full of sh it and not prepared to do any of the work themselves. Easy posting and then standing back and moaning nothing is happening, man up if you feel so strongly about it and do as Trellis has. They cant put it down to being too busy, they have plenty of time to post on here or perhaps some have no interest in the above but are purely driven by an agenda. Here today, gone tomorrow...….
@mahatmajacket - the board is negative because of the facts, the facts are the share price is sitting at sub 4p.
Shouldn't the board get scolded by the investors as once it held at well above this price a few years back from now. I do not agree with the death threats but I do agree to with the legal route. Just look who they have appointed mohammed, who can barely speak english, let alone run a company without a CFO.
mahatma - People on this BB are simply too lazy to make threats to be honest.
Some people have lost everything they have worked for in their lives and are now, not only feeling broke but broke and stupid. This sort of feeling will have a profound effect on someone's persona to the point they will say things they wouldn't normally say.
As Raymond Chandler wrote. Never give someone with nothing to lose as reason to hate you.
Lyndon. This bb is a negative, poisonous place to be. Has been for a while. I would be willing to bet the remaining value of my Sou holding that the abusive posts JP received, together with the death threats came from one or more individuals who posted on this bb. I always thought this bb was irrelevant. However, I now believe that it is dangerous. Frequented by folk who are clearly not in control of their emotions and are so easily whipped into a destructive frenzy. This bb demonstrates some of the worst traits of human behaviour.
No one will buy into a stock that everyone is waiting to sell. First priniciples. Go look up 'Death Spiral'
It's highly telling that Parsons is only tied to the company via 'freelance' contraints now.
His departure yesterday was nothing to do with 'threats' and everything to do with legally distancing himself from Sound so not to fall foul of legals when C4 Energy Limited are revelead as the UK Private Company. If a deal does exist (which I am starting to doubt, this will be run to zero and bought for nothing) then there will be no conflict of interest. How convenient.
Pontcanna - I agree to pop out now but I have been following closely the whole sound affair and people on this board. Glad you understand unlike JP's nut hugger crude.
James you are right and JP is bricking it from potential legal action. I hope someone does take this professionally and I would be willing to support the cause against him. Saleem has the videos and it would be helpful if someone can get in touch with him and build a solid case against him.
It's a bit weird for us old school posters to see these new posters pop up - a bit unsettling but they have their reasoning whatever it may be ? So yesterday we see Parsons's gone but not gone ! We get the oddest compliance threat ! Our relatively new Chairman resigns his post due to ill health but doesn't resign from the other posts he holds ? Today Parsons other ventures Coro and Echo both post RNSs and Malcy posts the most positive response to a company whose CEO and Chairman resign in the sme week the CFO quits ! Could you mak it up ?
Very interesting to see all these new posters with great wisdom and knowledge. They seem to be going for world records with their posts, question is where have they been?...Are they shareholders ? Are they holding or selling. Not buying by the sound of it. Interesting.
If Sound are removing media from sites because it states "you can't lose" well that's not a good signal at all and clearly JP feels vulnerable against potential legal action.
Mr Ducati, you are being too hard on yourself. I am sure you did research and made an informed decision. But as well, part of your thinking would have been: this guy is a CEO and well versed in oil and gas. He knows what he is talking about. That's why on the Sound website they tell you about his experience and previous employers. Shell. Wow. So when you see videos where he says you can't lose, and will probably make money you will be swayed. Simply saying I was the person pressing the buy button is not good enough. If Sound sold shares over the phone in that manner the authorities might call it boiler room selling. There might be a case to answer. You cannot remove the evidence, mislead, and walk away. But , I suppose you could try.
John keep the posts coming, you are a realist.
Big bench - how can JP defend 4p share? once £1 and since all the way down to 4p. I showed inexperience and should have seen the smoke at 40p and sell but just like ducati mentioned greed took over and paid the price heavily from a professional con artist James Parsons.
Suggest Brian will just do as someone else suggested.
I am Geologist not the 'deal maker' so can't really comment.
The Chairman, The CEO and CFO will not be there. You 3 biggest Chess pieces gone. This isn't a game you can win.
Fairplay Ducati. I am at a point where I am ready to take the hit as I don't trust the new CEO mohammed. He barely speaks english and is coming internally. They are all crooks mate, I will be happy if JP get screwed legally for what he did and should be accounted for his lies. rinse and repeat etc, my left foot!
JP obviously couldn't face the music and probable abuse he was going to get... He must of realised 99% of PI's think his credibility is shot to pieces so has left it to BM to steer the Sound Ship through the croc infested waters of the FSC.
Koozer - Once he's 'gone private' I'd suggest you'll unlikely hear off him again. unless you have a ship to shore radio that is.
Kooser, you say the market knows well don’t tell me you are drowning and cannot sell at a loss. There are a lot of good people
Struggling financially with this share, but guess what I alone hit the buy button and if 8,9, or 10 had produced gas in commercial quantities it would of been a different story. Oil and Gas exploration, high risk high reward. Guess I just got greedy?
Mahatmajacket I like the name. What a question for JP's bootlicker.
Well said John, I support your factual critique on the phony James Parsons. He should be exposed for the rest of his life for what he did, conned people and now legging it.
Crudehope. Would Seghiri have done a better job than JP over the last year?
