News will come. despite what some hope / need.
Calvalley deal, back costs + phase 2 costs (share) drilling costs and possibly deal to fund Annoual drilling (hinted at in last presentation).
GSA re write
Bank financing for phase 2
all these will lead to revenue that will make curent market cap look rediculously low.
and no, they are not about to go bust.
there is plenty of available credit in previous agreement to keep the light son etc.
If the calvalley deal completes they receive back costs.
If phase 1 completes they start to generate cash.
If TE-4 is succcessful the SP rises significantly and they can raise cash from equity if required.
Lots of “ifs” but at least there is a plan.
Well here we are in April and still no news or update from Graham??!!
Its hardly surprising shareholders are getting a bit fed up and impatient with everything.
I keep trying to reassure myself by remembering the confidently communicated lines that GL stated in the latest presentation.
"this is really happening"
"its taking longer than expected yes, but these are 10 year contracts or sometimes longer contracts that take time to finalise, but its a case of no news is good news"
Maybe this long awaited RNS (packed with great news) will finally arrive this month then?
I do really hope this for all shareholders, especially the long suffering and long term ones here.
I'm feeling your pain right now.
GLA
That kylie is still online earlier than actual share holders every morning, in his case, praying there is no rns.
and that's despite posting at 7pm on a Sunday night.
does he not have any friends or family?
I wonder why?
Love it.just love it
Got kylie75 rattled.result..job accomplished.
Long live the LTHS..our day is near.

It’s an another long quiet week ahead. Zero from GL expected again. That guy has got some front I’ll give him that. He’s definitely gone for the ‘over promise and under deliver’ approach which isn’t very much appreciated by the market. #amateurhour
SOU hasn't got a brass farthing to pay for any drilling beyond TE-4.
If,If TE-4 hits a good rate of gas with the vertical well, what do you think will happen backed by a company with deep pockets. That’s if the deal goes through………….better late than never.
"If the Calvalley deal gets completed (it is concerning how long it is dragging) then most of the risk disappears. Then any success with the drill bit and it will be transformational."
Sorry to point this out yet again, but SOU hasn't got a brass farthing to pay for any drilling beyond TE-4. Nor will they have until 2027/28. They also now only own 30% of any wells on Greater Tendrara, and even less should Calvalley agree to carry their costs.
Sou hiring an accountant in Morocco.!
May be I'm just getting desperate.
Bed N ISA tomorrow so (another) slow no news day/week suits me.

It will then be EID, a Public Holiday for the rest of the week.
Month of fasting finishes this Tuesday..
Cavalley will sign.if not they would have left ages ago
SOUND ENERGY will be a different beast before the coming AGM..Mark my words.
Now is the time to buy these CHEAP SHARES .but as always dyor.Big week coming up
People also ask
Is Sound Energy a good investment?
The overall consensus recommendation for Sound Energy is Buy.
Ask People what is Sound ; BUY BUY BUY
It is for all these reasons that the SP is where it is and the MCAP is £18m.
If there was no risk there would be no potential upside. Sound is definitely high risk - high reward now, but I wouldn’t be crystallising losses at this price though (although it is better than nothing).
If the Calvalley deal gets completed (it is concerning how long it is dragging) then most of the risk disappears. Then any success with the drill bit and it will be transformational.
Fair enough, I'm just gonna stick at this price, rightly or wrongly.
Phase 1 pointless now imo, was supposed to give us early revenue
Things take time but with Sound it is ridiculous.
More annoying given that gL used to bang on about Morocco desperate for gas and pushing on an open door...
Best of luck Fernan10. I've just passed the third anniversary of selling most of my holding. It was around the time of the first bond restructuring when I decided there was something amiss. Obviously SOU has tottered on, but even I am amazed that the share price was 50% higher when I sold than it is now, three whole years later.
I decided to cut my losses and sold my remaining shares today, for the following reasons:
1. the delay in closing the Calvalley deal, the gas sales agreement and the funding package is beyond my comprehension.
2. without additional funds, SOU should be in a very precarious financial position by now
3. the terms of the convertible notes issued last June, especially in regard to the conversion of interest into shares, are horrendous
4. there is no clarity regarding the progress of phase 1
For all those reasons, I lost my confidence in management, and got out.
Good luck to all here.
Regards

No mention of Sound or any Parsons companies- how strange??
Why?
Expect an end of fasting present from cavalley next week..
Finishes in 5 days time...
End of first week in Q2. Seriously, WTF is happening? Where's Calvalley? What's happening on site with Phase 1? A time lapse movie of the past year wouldn't win any awards. It would show the LNG storage tank foundations being completed a year ago and a few rusted steel sheets getting installed last week. The 2023 half year report said there would be lots of equipment arriving 2023/ early 2024. Even with the usual SOU overbroadly-specified timelines they are a mile off target.
If the pace picks up, there are months and months of construction remaining, and further months of commissioning. Chances of revenue this year are exactly zero. If things DON'T speed up, it won't be early next year either. Unless Calvalley are writing the cheque for back money right now, SOU will need to go out and look for minimum £3m. Will it be Catastrophically Bad Deal V2.0 for GL?
And it will be down again you moron. just look back at your posts. do you not have an ounce of humility? time after time people critical of this company, its assets, the wider burocracy and the various management teams here are proved right. alomst 2 months now since GLs rousing Churchillian speach, but unlike Churchill there's nothing but hot air and bs behind it. retail investors here, LTHs here will end up paying a very very heavy price for not understanding details, being able to read and understand the financial impact of what's stated in RNSs, what's not stated in RNSs and comprehending the difference between the company and existing SHs - they are mutually exclusive in terms of success and ROI. the incomprehensibe delays and layers upon layers of excuses and bs from GL and the team are merely the outwards signs of underlying catastrophic issues behind the scenes. the irony is that those people who are sceptical really don't need to do anything anymore, GL does the best job possible at laying out the bearish view on this company and the sp. put simply, without any actual progress, all this company is doing is posting some dull as feck pictures on social media. that doesn't pay any bills at all. GL=JP and there's a funding round upcoming, put on your hard hats.
