Thank you Esma, I didn’t know that and was too afraid to ask. So the SP would zoom up but not necessarily to the true value?? This would give us an option to get out early then with hopefully some profit but holding could be for the brave?? Sorry for being a bit naive before Shaun 47 stomps all over me.
I suppose the 'bottle tester ' will be if there is a spike to say 20p ahead of a confirmed offer? GLA
Why do I keep reading that trading in SOU will be suspended whilst people vote on the deal? That is not how it works. Once an offer is announced by RNS the share will trade at a small discount to whatever the offer price might be and people will have the choice either to sell in the market or hang on to get the full offer price maybe three months or so later, after a vote/completion of the transaction/money being transferred, etc, etc. Asset sales take a long time to transact regardless of whether it is for the whole company or part of it and I don't want my money tied up for any length of time just for an addition couple of percent on the SP.
Well, it seems that my choice of name was an act of prescience.
I should explain that the thing about licking lift buttons was a joke made by another poster about a notorious deramper on another company's forum.
Any resemblance to any employee of Chuckle Energy is purely coincidental.
Longwait?
Have you thought about slightly altering your pseudonym and putting 'Ridiculously' in front of it?
We lick chocolate buttons if that's any use to you, Long'?
It's time to put down the spam and look forward to the steak and caviar.
I think most of us are in the same predicament, Scarf. Most of us will have averages above today's share price and wait in anticipation of the news. I really don't have the appetite to go long and like many, just want my money back with a healthy enough profit and to draw a line under this. This is beginning to drag-on longer than it really needs to IMHO. Time to get us sold to the highest bidder, all being well. This will be the making or breaking of Parsons. It's time for him to step up to the plate and show us what he is made of. If he delivers us a decent LE, which he claims to be capable of ("deal making is in my DNA") then in theory, we don't have anything to be worried about. I still think there is a reason behind the BOD taking a reduction in their salaries as of 1st August. Hopefully, it is because a deal would have come in and the share price will be placed into suspension as we are asked to vote on what the deal is via a simple 'yes' or 'no'. Only time will tell....but boy this is boring the hell out of me.
You lick windows?
You wouldn't happen to lick lift buttons too, would you?
Evening Jez. I'm not getting bored by it. I'm getting sick of it. Hanging on in there in hope rather than expectation. Underwater with nothing to loose by waiting for the LE. ..Hobson's choice unfortunately. If it goes completely belly up I'll lick my wounds and live on saveloys. GLA
Longwait,
Don't believe anything you read in a Chuckle Energy RNS.
Well the clock is ticking and we're all still none the wiser. I just hope Parsons has managed to secure us a deal or all hell is going to break loose. I'm happy for him that he managed to find the time to pop off on his happy holiday, leaving we poor PI's to fight amongst ourselves.
FWIW, I still believe the deadline date is July 31st and that we should hopefully learn our fate in early August. How long does Parsons intend to keep his finger on the 'pause' button anyway? And all along, he has been enjoying a full wage. There better be a deal on the table or I don't think they should pay themselves a single penny going forward as they haven't met their end of the bargain. This lure of the Liquidity Event has been keeping we investors sticky and loyal to this share and if it turns out that there is no imminent LE, I for one will be very, very unamused.
The Chuckles are giving him until early August to come up with the goods, or else our support for him will be no more. I can't keep sending my poor twin brother off to the Call Centre for his 12 hour long shifts as I stare out of the chip shop counting passing cars and licking the window.
GLA. This share at the moment is incredibly boring and Parsons ought to know that we're all frustrated, bored and unimpressed. Get on the blower and get us sold before I die of boredom. Yawwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Jizzy
todays 750,000 trade
we know its a buy though.... dont we
No.
Because it was in an RNS released by Chuckle Energy.
You're not keeping up with events.
"i think the cut off date for bids is 31 of July but not sure"
Why do you think this? Because you read it on here, written by jezthefez?
A lot of buying activity today and perhaps something is brewing and i think the cut off date for bids is 31 of July but not sure and happy investing everyone
