I was there In Morroco and you have nailed the issue on the head. Its the fact crude and JP eat, drank and raised the hope of these investors , almost all the investors in this dumpster of a stock where just normal people who have lost litterlly their lives savings, and huge amounts of their security. It's the fact JP knowing these people circumstances many where close to pension age , knowing full well this thing was a pump and dump operation.
I personally tried to warn a lot of people on the trip, so I did my bit then , I have not held the stock for almost 2 years so can't report to the FCA, but it is shamefully how JP has taken people life savings from them, knowing full well this was never going to work out ...
I work in investment banking and it's part of the game , but it's not fair when unsophisticated retail investors are shafted by slick marketing and Messiah CEO, truly sad when a CEO can't make it legitimately in life resorts to retail investor fraud. Using one liners like the golden ticket, ducks in a row... So sad , using the pics of your family , pretending your the investors friends ... For a buck ! Lost moral compass and anything for money JP - sad sad man, ps I actually did make money from sound energy so I should be happy but it was bitter sweet seeing so many small time investors lose so much money to sheer greed !
Do you invest in crypto John ? You remind me of someone.
BertieMC I have dyslexia, please focus on the message not the grammer.
Tradeemup, really well put together post you have summed it up perfectly, it's not the fact people lost money that's the real issue it's how they where stringed along by JP who ..through constant new share issuances and dilutions , hype and pomp ...went out of his way to profit from his own share holders ...with total lack of duty of care for them ...I too will never forget JP - post the Morroco trip they wanted to use the photos of the trip and I point blank refused My of my images to be used in either video or photographic format, I was not going to be associated in anyway with this conman. I too will never forget JP and his actions, morally and profffesionally.
John, spend a bit of money on some spelling lessons and maybe a bit of grammar - will make you look a lot better than a Rolex watch.
John I was not on the Morocco trip but managed to sell out and reduce my exposure due to BM tone and clarity on the geology and real COS. Here is a man regardless of the drill results whom is trustworthy. Unlike JP Who wanted to talk of analogous Algerian geology, monster connected field, extrapolate out the opportunity based on licence area (size of Belgium) etc etc. I sold out the morning of the RNS detailing this deal and am Glad I did. I have taken the financial loss on the chin but JP and his actions will never be forgotten. I would never invest in any business with an association to JP and make it a personal mission to inform any investors of his history. The man has misled and gone beyond what is acceptable IMO. As for CrudeHope he must have an agenda and I cannot believe he continues to defend JP the deal maker extraordinaire!
I think your focusing on the wrong question , if you where In Morroco you will know who I am ... To help you out the best dressed man .. church's shoes , Rolex watch get the picture PNE79 I do think you where there ...
I think your focusing on the wrong question, the question is how much money is in people broker a accounts ? And has JP got away with it scott free?
Report the crime
Ps personally JP made me a lot of money so have no problems , but I am amazed you are more concerned about me then your own money !
Why don't you say something actionable and useful for all the people who have lost money on the day JP disappears into the sunset with "X" million quid ...

Make your mind up John, are you an investment banker or an ex-investment banker. Personally, I don't think you are either but that's just my view.
Report the crime do it as a group meet at the AGM and then make a group report !!
Excellent post ! Duty of care has not been carried out! It's a crime - JP annual pay 2016 - £1,000,000 , 2017, £1,000,000 ,2018 £1,500,00 , 2019 £1,500,000
Please check yourself in the annual accounts !
Apologies, but if you were a banker, you'd know the FCA are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Through my business, I've reported a number of individuals, some with direct, provable misconduct- information laid on a plate and they weren't interested in the slightest.
BEV, JP will not be there , it's called rinse and repeat - classic tactic , blame the old management i.e JP and the chairman and say to everybody lets move on ...
Standard tactic in the industry , it's called sweeping the dirty under the carpet and ...of course they will tell you let's move on....
But of course your money does not come back ... Lol!
It's the perfect crime
REPORT THE CRIME AND THEN ATTEND THE AGM AND ASK FOR A INFORMATION REQUEST!
FCA will be very interested if reported ! This is there job, all you have to do is report it. I mean if you lost money and you do not report it , I say JP played a blinder, but the fact is he has broken a number of market regulations.
1. Market abuse
2. Insider trading - they can run RNS messages against his selling - I think we can all guess what they will find.
3. Breach of fiduciary duty to shareholders
4. Leaking market SENSITIVE information to individual investors... I'm looking at you crude hope ... This is easily proven by your confessions that you have been speaking to him on the phone and exchanging emails , this information was not shared with the other investors.
5. Running a pump and dump operation
It all SPELLS - Market ABUSE which is a crime - link provided so you can check for yourself;

REPORT THE CRIME
Not that many postings about what’s likely to happen next, and where the SP will go tomorrow? Trellis will you change the style of your letter now. Didn’t know about a fsc?
The FCA are not interested in small Pis. I had already contacted them months ago about JP
Really sad to see how this has played out. I held these a while back. Made some on the initial Tendrara results then lost some on Badile. After that I lost faith and sold out.
I don't normally post on shares I don't hold but reading Crudes sympathy for JP I felt compelled.
JP set the expectations for the LE, which, with hindsight were fanciful at best and maybe even dishonest. And Crude you were number 1 cheerleader back in the day. Both of yous went way beyond the roles of a CEO and BB poster to sell the golden tickets. Misguided or disonehest who knows?
The thing that makes it worse than anything I have ever seen in my time investing is the personal aspect of this. JP and the likes of Crude have looked the PIs who were shafted in the in the eyes, drunk with them , joked with them, made plans for the high life after the LE. Shame on you!
Anyway, I am genuinely sorry for people losses here. Please report any suspicious, no matter how trivial to the FCA. They may be unfounded but the only way to find out is to report them. They will investigate, we are talking a publicly listed company once valued over £800m. It is serious cash and if there was any wrong doing we are talking jail time.
I don't hold so can't report but please, if you feel something's not right report it. We need to stop shiester CEO's shafting us for their own gain. It's hard enough to make money in this game.
