i respect that.
This may or may not be a good long term investment but to make short term money you have to go with the sentiment whatever your long term feelings about the share are. In this game giant piles of horse manure can be inflated to great heights and good companies prospects can be ground into the dirt.
In the long term solid fundamentals always play out but in the short term you have to swim with the tide and not against it.
i like that.
is this a good LONG LONG term investment?
or as soon as this rises you will sell all your shares once et is high?
This is to be expected as short termers wont hang around, pump n dump....but have to agree with StMary.... it looks a brighter future than it did last week , the previous year in fact. Fingers crossed we finish the week without a to dramatic collapse
Don, perhaps the 300% rise this week might be a factor? All looking a bit rosier for the future though.....

KTF is lucky, he's all of those rolled into one, except sensible opinions ( only one p please), of which he is bereft.
any ideas on what factors make that sudden drop on sp i just witnessed?
I have come across a few good investments simply by taking a look at the top riser, or faller board. Most recently NCYT.L, on top of leader board back in Jan, did some research of what they are doing, bought in low 40s, has risen passed 500, but still holding, currently 255 ish.
Yeah I am okay with the research on a company. It's the trying to find the companies in the first place I'm struggling with. I'll get there.
Thanks for being patient with a newbie
Try reading the RNS' or company new section on website

haha I also have previously had the ability to buy on the highs and sell on the lows but I'm learning patience now, I actually almost got in on SOU the other day as it was nearer to bottom.. for that day, which was nice. Just people talk about companies having new management and doing this deal or that deal, I just haven't found WHERE in particular this comes from.
I am gleaning that a lot of my time clicking on this tab is often wasted as 2 posters are arguing about who's the better investor, but then sometimes people do put helpful things like NEWS ABOUT A COMPANY.
I'll just keep plodding on. Good luck in any case
And thanks :)
Don,
From what i have learnt, people only mention a stock, just after the spike that they brought in on, trying to get others to go their, but it so it goes up a bit more and they can take there 10%.
Or they miss a spike, and go over to the board trying to talk it down to buy in lower.
Everyone on these boards has an agenda.
My only guarantee on Aim is, however much research i put in, whatever the market cap of a company is (even when drastically undervalued) - If I buy it will drop, either fast or drift slowly down, until i move on. Then When i sell it will spike up again ...
DONT THINK SO HA HA
Erg, I have been dipping into this trading thing for last 3 weeks, 0800 til 1630 every day just watching things move and reading up on what things mean, as I am not doing anything for a little while, its more productive, I'm not new to business or math but I am new to this and still trying to get a hold of WHERE certain info comes from. You mentioned CTEA and I had a look and although lots promising about them, they had a large spike yesterday, so my question is where did YOU find out about them before hand was it just luck of someone mentioning it in chat area like this or is there a site that lists various groups of stocks by various traits or fledgling companies on the market or is it purely bare bones research: "google give me a list of all companies involved in... unicorn horn dust production"
I didn't want to ask anyone publicly as I thought the answer would show itself but days and days now of reading garbage scam sites or biased news articles, i guess it doesn't hurt to ask.
Lost a fortune on this share during the Parson years and now hoping that Echo and CTEA can get me of trouble!
CTEA might be worth a look. DYOR
