Cheers shivshinh, yes does look that way. I hope you're right regarding 4.00 as trying to recover my loss from being in KAZ which is incredibly volatile atm with fluctuating copper prices!
Looks like resistance at 3.50. Markets are down or else this would be nearer 3.70-3.80 today. 4.00 to come next week imo
What are people's thoughts regarding direction as seems to have hit 360 ish resistance and now bouncing? Trading Central seems to have a negative view of it's near term prospects.
......is going up nicely let's hope it holds today setting up some stability for next week
Nicely now.
Hence the small divi?
I think I'll keep a core holding of SOPHOS and some for trading. I thought they'd just turned a profit?
Sainsburys do 10% net profit and SP rises about 1.5% shows what all PIs are up against. Not sure we will see 400p iust yet but I know I see more potential here than Sainsburys!!All the best to all.
SOPHOS just started to heat up lol. Looking strong.
Despite the large p/e and softening of growth prospects there is still huge potential.
If you think the recent 25-30% correction is justified do nothing, if you believe the Sophos cloud business model is still robust and stock is well oversold buy or top up.
You have to be in to win.
HeresHopin I've top sliced FLYBE and BPC this week. Both looking quite good. I'm just in SOPHOS to trade really. It was quite easy to trade between 325 and 330 yesterday. Today it's tighter so having difficulty.
Liberium reiterates buy with target 400
Deutsche reiterates hold with target 370
HeresHopin - it always seemed to bounce hard off 320p area. Strong support at 315p looking at L2. Looks like a no brainer at these levels so I've bought £25k worth.
There is obviously someone trying to short or sell but I feel that this stock will bounce back strongly once he stops.
Could be today but most certainly in next few days. G/L all :)
Doesn't bother me.
Am not here to day trade.
It just looked oversold on the day, and really good value
It often makes up about 10% the day after a big drop from what i can see
It looks good to snatch some early morning!
Divi 0.8%? Growth stock Expexting 400p by end of week
What percent is the divi usually on this and when is the interim divi due?
Loads of huge late buys after hours being printed..this should gap up above 340p on open tomorrow imho
GLA
agree FTSE12 with all you say.it would be very interesting to see statistics regarding the accuracy or otherwise of analysts forecasts based on time scales which you rarely get.i am also staying out for today but agree that its going be a great buying opportunity over next few days.all in my opinion of course
Best to ignore 'Analysts' forecasts - it's all guesswork anyway. Albeit a positive forecast can influence the SP.
I've seen numerous analyst forecasts on numerous companies where they upgrade one week and downgrade the next week....they just follow the SP trend.
In my opinion.
- It's way oversold today (25%- 28% drop is certainly panic selling based on company guidance of slowing growth.).
- The SP will find it's true value (once all the day-traders make money/lose money today....SP is too volatile today with all the sellers/buyers).
- Sophos have a good product and will always have a decent demand.
- SP will be back in the £4+ range by early next week.
- Current SP makes Sophos an attractive buying target for any competitor (that will certainly make the SP shoot up).
As far as I'm concerned this is a great buying opportunity for the medium term. Once the dust has settled, You'll see some decent institutional investors buying at a very good price. If you sit back and think about - does a projected slowing growth really justify a 25%-28% reduction in company value? Of course it doesn't.
I'm confident that the SP will be back at close to yesterdays range by December.
