Well said AA, without NR the discovery would never have been made.
75% of the project funded to production and probably full field development and all 8 wells, the value of solo's 25% of the project went up, that's for sure.
GLA :-)
Wakey, wakey SOLO.
callout - 4 more consecutive days like yesterday and I'd be closer to that too
Yesterday was a great day in the history of Solo, it can't pass without some credit to Neil Ritson.

Former (very) LTH and initially surprised at the big rise, but the RNS appears to be a step in the right direction. Was invested here since 2010 until this year and eventually got tired of the constant no news, delays, dilutions and other exasperations that seem to tie themselves to this company. The question is what the board do from here and I hope it's identifying good investments that reward shareholders for their hard earned. I wish you all the best and whereas this journey ended for me in the summer, I hope you all gain/achieve a good return on your investment. Parting note will be that I am glad they got out of UKOG and my gut feel on that company was proved correct.
But will it rise from here

Re reading the RNS as it's been a while. It does sound like they'll progress with the planned activities and only sell if a reasonable offer comes in. Guessing as a non operational stake The other parties have everything lined up ready for the green light.
What are we thinking for SP predictions tomorrow. Is todays RNS enough fuel to do another 100%
They already have a loan available for at least drill costs+

"Solo Oil plc has entered into an investment facility for up to US$5,000,000 with Prolific Basins LLC, a specialist investor; "

I expect the asset will likely be worth a lot more post drill.
Could not agree more DPL. I would be extremely disappointed if we sold any of our stake before CH-1 at the earliest.
Fait point @StoneFold
Why sell any? Secure a loan to fund the drills and seismic.
Unlock the full value of Tanz, Solo don’t have a good record finding other successful projects.
Maybe sell 15 to 20% and keep 5 or 10% free carry.
All depends on how much an offer is if made.
I would consider any offer in excess of 50 million pounds a very reasonable one.
If we keep it we need to spend many millions more and probably a few years until any income is earned.
Sell it and it frees up cash for other investments that would hopefully generate cash from the start.
I do of course expect a dividend that was promised many years ago by nr.
Let’s hope the board maintain that promise.
Mid cap
The market for both AEX and SOLO reacted strongly just after 13:42 when AEX's RNS was released.
The market for both AEX and SOLO did not need to react just after 16:08 when SOLO's RNS was released, because that news was known by those who read the earlier AEX RNS.
I genuinely thought the market shut at 4pm for a second.... and it wouldn’t surprise me for the board to do that. Added some 7mins after the announcement.. good luck all!
