Novice - you're right. These boards do my head in. They are either full of quadies and FJNY's or the polar opposite where they spend hours discussing paying off their mortgages or paying their vets fees for their dying effing dog! Worse still are the sycophants who think an individual has delivered them from near death because of what they said on a public forum.
I need to:
Stay away from them on the weekend.
Filter a lot more (not u of course xx).
Try to stay calm and not react to ******* stupid posts by certain individuals.
Concentrate on becoming an even richer multi millionaire!!
Had to slip that in to spoil someones mid morning coffee break.
Tx for the jolt.
Pad - get serious..........PMSL laughing when I read that list. As smickster said, 99% of the forums would be dust. Take a look @ LLOY for example.....WTF?
Lol Pad if these rules were enforced I fear we would have about 5 posters on lse in total.
I've just watched Dale's video and I see absolutely nothing in there that justifies anywhere near the current valuation.
Z, Suggest that you take some of your own advice and keep calm on this board you're a lot more polite on the "other"board LOLZ

Quady, I wouldn't worry - I don't think anyone on here takes the guy seriously.
Zoros, I suggest you read the rules on this forum. You are in breach, as you are not only making share recommendations, but you have directly addressed them to one poster.
Also that fact, that you do not answer the question, and divert attention, should tell new investors, everything about you.
Do not listen to Zoros, he is always wise after the event, and will probably lose you money.
I thought Swazers was bad.
Novice, we're just passing the time while we wait for the many near-term catalysts to kick in for SOLG.
Thank you Miagi.
Morning Novice, don't count myself as an agitator for any cause, however, maybe very little on Solgold, at the moment, as we are all waiting, for what next transpires.
All the best.
Very little talk about solg on here last 2 days... Means only one thing and we all know what that is!!! Only agitator's on here at the moment.
Hi Quady, the Porvenir RNS states they are using a man portable - from memory, because access is not fantastic. Also from memory, I think that access to Hueca is much better, so maybe they are using a larger rig there? There's no mention of it in the Hueca RNS, from a quick scan.
Morning Miagi, 30 meter's a day for the portable rigs, closer to 50 meter's a day for the track rigs. I still don't know, which rig is at which site.
Schlem, surely your recent gain in GGP has put you in the black finally, wrt to your investing career?
Copperpot - 30m a day it is. Got my 50s and 30s in a twist.
Zoros, I never invested in GGP, as I know people who were talking about this stock, at the time is was about 1.5 to 2 pence.
I looked at it briefly and dismissed it. Didn't have the time. ( I missed the boat, plus didn't have any spare cash to invest, at the time )
However, I have run my eye over it again, and I cannot see the justification for GGP's current price.
Two things:
First I would like to say sorry in advance, to all the Solgold posters, for talking about GGP on this forum.
Second, like we discuss about Solgold, could you put together, the NPV, against Market cap figures, and tell me what I am missing about GGP. Not future speculation on future discoveries, but what the position is today.
I ask this, because you are continuously ramping this share, and people are starting to take you seriously.
NO ONE, should suggest that another investor, should buy another share on their say so.
Because we do get new investors on here, who might take you seriously. ( I know better ).
Any share can lose it's valuation, and to me personally, GGP's valuation is top heavy.
But prove me wrong, show your calculations.
While we are comparing our history here, my holdings starting from 7 years ago had a pretty healthy average but were totally ruined by my buy in May '19 @ 39p - c'est la vie !
I've spent more time and energy following the SOLG story than any other stock I've ever held and a decent buyout price sooner rather than later would finally vindicate that, although I won't be rich like some on here because my holding is very modest, I will simply be richer !
We are in for a few exciting months I feel, gla holding or looking to buy
Qalibashi, agree with Schlem there - it's always interesting to hear people's stories. I still find it incredible that a clearly experienced investor is basically going ALL IN on what is a heavily overbought (technically speaking) momentum trade. Was that the last of the ETF buying or will there be more to provide further fuel? I shall stand by the way side fascinated by it all.
At one point I had about £8k in at 1.75p ish after the Dec 19 announcement, and it started dropping again to 1.6p so I sold. I couldn't fathom why it was dropping at the time, but I was concerned they might want to raise money. The lesson there was to remember that things can change all of a sudden - what seem like an interminable trading range can suddenly, and fairly explosively, change into a huge uptrend. Conviction is key, and after the Dec announcement there was a fantastic opportunity there. But as I said previously, you had to hold through the CV dip to 2.5p and then I would have been lucky to hold past 10p. One thing is for sure, next week is likely to be a very volatile and interesting week over at GGP.
Oh. Novochock's post has been redacted.
Ned, schlem, Qual....we don't always see eye to eye but business is business and at the levels you act decisions like this are big. But research says it all.
Solg will be another GGP and much bigger we all know that but en route why not dip into a very exciting side show eh?
GGP will go to 50p the fundamentals are there, so joining now means a doubling of money by around january, i'm guestimating, reading all the data.
Solg will ignite either in october or at the PFS. Time to switch after reaping profits.
Enjoy.

'infinitesimally small point'
Q - Good stuff fella. I like to read about the journey of other investors. How they made their money and what stocks they bought and why to achieve their gains. I take no umbrage with posters who reference other stocks nor deviate onto other topics that are in some way only partially relevant. It's a learning curve and the more we learn the easier the process of investing becomes, by degrees of course
I am intrigued by the sudden drilling activity of both SOLG and CGP. Is this company related or government related (licence issuances etc)? We have a timeline. Standstill expires mid-Oct. I am not saying that on this date the entire known universe will revert to an infinitesimally point but it is a relevant date in contractual terms. The contractual shackles are removed and that may trigger events of some kind whether that media references, corporate developments etc...
I am wondering if the drilling activity and PR push by both companies (SOLG and CGP) is in some way related to the Standstill expiration date. It seems way too coincidental
And regarding Porvenir - Well, this was May 2019. That was 16 months ago ffs. Why the delay in drilling? Maybe I am missing some tech and legal detail here which may explain the delay. Is Mather so confident of a major discovery at Povenir that they would publicly state this? Surely they must be confident of success to be so publicly confident about what they believe lays beneath
'SolGold on verge of 'significant' discovery at Porvenir. SolGold has identified what it believes is a “significant” copper-gold target at its Porvenir project in Ecuador.'
https://www.mining-journal.com/copper-news/news/1362392/solgold-on-verge-of-significant-discovery-at-porvenir
Is Mather trying to pre-empt a low ball bid by releasing drilling results from these drills before end of BHP purdah?
feck knows, Trying to get inside the head of Mather is way too much of a task for my meagre intellect
I've been in and out of SOLG for years and on a net basis I have lost money so fingers crossed this time it pays off...for all holders
And that is exactly how I feel about it.
Well put. Ned
Hi Miaggi
Got to say Solg has been good to me since I started buying at sub 5p.
At 45p I came home with a bottle big champers and told her in doors my portfolio had reached £1m
Not boasting gents just saying what happened .
As price dropped to below 20p all the gains dissipated.
Never complained.
I knew what we have here and I am very patient and have a decent job.
Never traded.
A customer of mine who I put in to Solg mentioned Ggp but I took no notice as he was snd is a total novice .
But I put Ggp in my monitor.
Did little research.
What made me dip my toe in was just the huge volume even as the price was rising.
4/5 thousand trades a day agsinst our 170/220 daily.
Nick saying we are going to develop a mine and I not wanting this.
I guess I knew I had time to trade out of Solg and earn a chunk with Ggp especially as NCM are there.
Australia is a safe bet .
Yesterday at 4.15 I had my finger on the button to buy another 150,000 Ggp and sell Solg to cover.
Buy trades were flying through all day yet the 4 mms on the Ggp book we’re dropping all the time.
It simply did not make sense to me.
What stopped me was that maybe the mms knew something I did not.
I stopped then .
The UT explained the whole days trading.
ETF’s are involved here.
This could explode on Monday as investors come to terms that G put an order in for 121million at 27p
Solg is the stock that will make all of us very very rich.
Ggp will make this brave investors an awful lot of pocket money in a shorter timescale than Solg will.
It’s also rekindling my excitement in investing.
Sorry to ramble on guys.
If and when I make my target I will sell and reinvest ALL back in to my first love Solg!
yes Miagi
Guys the uncrossing trade, was to balance the book between buys and sells. It's rather large, but that's all.
Barry
That's the markets for you. I sold too soon on GGP and gave up £50k profit. If only we we were imbued with the power of prescience.
I know one thing for sure. SOLG does possess upside and for that I am hopeful. I also know something else. There's ALWAYS an opportunity to make money in the stock market.
In a few months months time the hefty profit you would have made on GGP will become a distant memory IF SOLG delivers the goods which I believe it will
I added a few today. Now at 275k. I'll be happy with 40p or more
GGP is still a quality company though but I want takeover here at SOLG at a decent premium, others desire the route to production. Either way, 40p and I'll be happy.
Iceberg, thanks. So, what earthling has just said (18:46) is correct then? There was a large buyer with an order in willing to pay up to 27p and the MMs were buying all day in the market to fill it?
