Slug - who else do you know who categorically wants it?
I'm talking firm evidence here, not idle hearsay.
Bozi,
While I agree that the valuation of Solgold is just pathetic, especially considering what’s in the ground (that being the rub at the moment) it does not make sense.
The SP is being held back, however they are doing it it’s being done? So many different stabs at theories out there as to how and by whom, we just don’t really know.
As for BHP playing the long game, they really do have the chance of missing out if playing it. BHP are not the only company who needs these metals for their future, anyone suggesting they are trying to get Solgold on the cheap in my opinion are totally wrong.
How could BHP answer to their main shareholders that they have lost out again, especially after losing so many billions on some very poor deals not that many moons ago.
Imagine the sh*t that would hit the fan if they cut off their nose to spite their face, this being a small feud between Mather and the old guard as people put it.
Someone will be making a move soon for Solgold, it’s just to valuable to be ignored, trouble being all these various problems happening at once not helping. Covid, inflation, tax hikes, gas supplies, markets being a bit volatile due to conflicts between countries just to mention a few spanner’s in the works.
Anyway, the world will move on and will require what Solgold have, let’s hope this annoying quiet period ends soon and they surprise us all with some meat on the bones they threw out there a while ago.
Knowing one day this company will be worth some serious pennies, I will just hold and wait with my golden ticket
Atb
RICH3R,code 1 today ,news tomorrow or Monday I think gla onwards and upwards....... PS my theory :):)
Wait a minute... we've just found 2m oz gold and 2mt copper at Porvenir and Hannam apply the grand valuation of... $75m.
Do BHP look like they care about the lack of an Alpala PFS? It gives them more time to shift the board members they don't want.
Can we imagine SOLG rocking up to the table in 6 months time regardless of whether the PFS has been delayed again courting offers starting at £1/s?
BHP will say "thanks but no thanks". We started the strong arm tactics whilst you were d*cking about. You've made your bed, now lie in it."
How many more drills needed to begin to prove up a Rio discovery though?
Can you please provide an update SOLG on how current drills are going !?
BBG I actually find your I’d idea of delaying the Alpala PFS while we prove up a second tier one, to be delicious. We’re it not for basic fact that to do so would cost Solg a fortune. And timelines would be 5+ years. It’s simply for the birds imo
That rant illustrates that you are not patient, and you are definitely not an experienced natural resources investor.
Games are being played on both sides. Why release the PFS and be subject to bids when we could have discovered another Alpala, if not bigger?
They are playing a blinder. Relax and chill out.
Borrow money from your grandma if things are tight at home
BBG how long are you honestly happy to keep on waiting and giving this company your undivided support? How many more months or years?
As to your earlier post theorising about other PFS’s being delivered within the next 2 years - how on earth is that going to happen? It isn’t ! Not a chance imo. You know the sloth-paced history here. There’d have to be a revolution of timescales and massive costs involved to drill all those holes to provide PFS data. It would likely need a major miner to achieve that. I’m all for star-gazing but please be realistic mate …..
Its the market makers who do not like uncertainty as there is the strong possibility that they are caught out if a major move happens.
Average joe shareholders like me dont care as we are happy to sit back and wait.
".... more regular exploration updates are required, so PIs can see where money raised is going."
LunchMoney, i am not sure if the company cares about PIs. Yes they needed PIs in the early days but now they have enough large shareholders who really matter. as far as I am concerned I accept that I have to rely on crumbs from the masters table and I don't know when and what the quality of crumbs will be
Rubbish Lunchmoney - BHP are happy for Solgold to continue developing on their behalf on the proviso we do not dilute them and introduce further competition. So lets say Mather agrees to that strategy, then the only way to keep both sides happy and raise capital is via a Franco
Why would they announce news sporadically when in fact, we need time and want the market to be less informed so that we avoid any unwanted early bids.
Stay calm
when is the new chairman going to make his presence felt and tell us what his plans are.
"I am of the opinion that BHP will be delighted if we go back to Franco."
Balderdash. If BHP ultimately want to control, build and mine Alpala why on earth would they be happy with us giving away even more royalties to Franco?
Yawn. That's all you can say when you can't answer a question.
In future, cut the crap and save us all your spin stories.
Yes, why no news on drill results and JV's for a start! Heavens if they wanted to keep interest alive, there are so many positive pieces of news they could spin out . But, ZILCH to date. We have no idea, just rudderless!
The spin deriving from the deramp house today is incredible.
Lots of colours shining through.
To all those watching this board - consider that majority of todays posters are not invested and are here to disrupt and raise doubt. Stay calm and remain patient
Bob things will look very different by then.
Has anyone considered any other possible reasons why no apparent progress has been made on JV’s ?
I'm going to $H1T myself when solgold releases the first (two) rio amarillo drill results. Good or bad. I don't care just show us small shareholders where our money is being spent. Let's hope its in 2022. I know how I'm voting at the next AGM if things don't change.
What makes you think Twiggy wants 15-20%?
All the hassle of bumping skulls with BHP/NCM/CGP. Sounds like a nightmare.
It would be easier for them to just go and buy the Solaris spin off, or something similar.
Addicknt -
A stream deal with Franco and a Porvenir sale would be enough for to advance RIO and TAM to BFS. There would be change left over for Sharug and others if needed.
If BHP don't conform over the next 10 months and allow us another 12 months (fin December 2023 AGM), Mather should threaten BHP by offering Twiggy a 15/20% present.
Spot on Addicknt. Fanciful bunkum from BBG at 10:50.
I wouldn't say they'd be delighted.
You'd be sticking them between a rock and a hard place and they'd likely very cheesed off to see Franco in for more, just not apoplectic to see another player take 15%.
Colonel Drake:
I agree, Solg are all Champagne taste and Lemonade pockets, all flash, no cash, trying to rub shoulders with the big boys when in reality they are not in the same league and at their mercy.
Kohaku, yes, he does.
