Indeed copper demand is outstripping supply
Nice DBW..............
Goldman highlighted "an extreme fundamental turn" for copper, as for the first time in a decade, global copper stocks on exchanges declined through March "instead of rising during what is the metal's main seasonal surplus phase."

Fair comment
Thank you LunchMoney been away a bit.
I guess we are still waiting for the next stage.
DBW exactly a bid will come imho and will be for alot more than 28p imho
It may be speculation but there’s a lot of it
Mining journal more than once
The Ambrian report ( which cannot be scoffed at ) rating us THE most likely takeover in the sector this year ….. these guys know way more than you or I.
Then there’s our own CEO stating on several occasions this “next cab off the rank mantra” do you really believe it’ll be the next project we develop ourselves.
I have no idea when a bid will land ( I thought it would already have happened) but it’s plain as day to me that’s where we’re headed.
"All I am saying is try not to dismiss the speculation or interesting thoughts just because they don't appear in an MD&A or RNS"
By definition it wouldn't be speculation or 'interesting thoughts' if they appeared in an MD&A or RNS.
LunchMoney is simply calling out the nonsense on here which is factually incorrect. You can spin it all you like Colonel as 'speculation' but some of it is just plain wrong, case in point being the idea mooted by yourself and BBG that the company finding an employee with their fingers in the till and hiring a consultant to look at the books is somehow part of 'due diligence'. You can waffle on about the man reaching the moon all you like, but some of us are frankly bored of reading the daily (and ever changing) twaddle about what might happen here.
Lunch, keep posting and calling out the rubbish mate, serious prospective investors will appreciate it.
Well said LM.
Facts over dreams and agendas at all times.
I have just popped in to read this board.
What's all this about due diligence being carried out, can someone point me to the article please.
BBG - I hope you're right mate.
Colonel - I have no idea how a company currently valued at £633m could spin off its core asset and achieve a valuation of $2-3bn.
I know very little about it But seeing we already own shares wouldn't it be a FPO usually at a discounted price
Colonel what would be the likely scenario/outcome for us retail holders in the event of an IPO? I've not been in that situation before.
Sharket,
Ha ha ha what a good reply, top dollar reply mate

Sharemarket - whats your point? My position remains the same which is that we will receive a bid within the next 5 months, being on or before next AGM.
BBG, back in December you wrote: "I will bet my left testicle that we have mapped the PFS and BFS, and we are revealing the numbers to a select few who have capacity to bid during the next 11 months."
At least your poor mother in law will only have to suffer whatever the right b*llock can muster up.
Anyone doing legal due diligence would had discovered this as it happened many moons ago and yearly audits had already been signed off by Solgolds independant auditor. Solgold did not discovers this latest blip!
So the last 18 months has lead to the following:
- Head of exploration resigning.
- Mather told to sit in the background and shut up.
- Ingo has been muted.
- We have a company secretary who is sitting as a contractor in Perth
- We have a CEO who has held senior positions at BHP.
- Moeller removed...
Hmmmmmmm. So if the above are not conditions precedent of an overall takeover deal by BHP, i will happily pash my mother in-law.
