Bozi... hilarious.
I didn't become a shareholder "to pay".
You have quite a unique approach to investing.... one that Nick and the BoD clearly don't share when it comes to themselves but have been no doubt grateful to hear among the poor bloody infantry down these past years of massive diltuion.
You are walking slowly up a "down" escalator - not the best position to be dispensing wisdom from.
so true bozo
I don't mind positivity HappyHarry. It sounds like you don't either.
I'm just gently ribbing Monte as we've not seen eye to eye previously. No malice though.
And to add my tenpenneth, I'm not best pleased about the PFS and want a positive update at the AGM. The company wants to fend off change of control interest and the way to do that is to start meeting goals and getting things done. A higher share price is the best defence and the route to that is via positive study results and good exploration results. Even then we're at the mercy of the market, which has been better obviously.
We've got a new CEO and if the company wants to show a clean slate then the time is now. Let the suitors come to us instead of floundering and trying to illicit that first move.
Go back to sleep Bozi, no one likes an argumentative kid 24/7
bozi. dbw has been predicting good news coming daily for 3 years to my knowledge. one day I'm sure he will get his and our wish. till then keep the positivity dreamboat
Unlucky Monte. No juicy RNS.
Maybe you'll go back to slating all and sundry... once you've traded back out that is.
I’m not sure the tree climbing lesbians tag applies to Ecuadorians worrying about their homeland…but it only emphasises our approach has been correct over the years, keeping the govt and locals onside as much as that is possible. A lot of companies may well come unstuck in the coming years by cutting corners.
On Twitter, a forum which I actively despise but which is unavoidable unfortunately, I find the best way to see all of someone’s posts is to click on “tweets and replies” . I don’t see how one account going awol is significant if all the posts are readily available on another….
Anyhow I made sure my AGM votes were cast today- I urge everyone not to forget. Back the board and be patient a little longer
Re the Irwin tweets I can see all of them on the 6666 feed going back at least 6 months - the latest one about anti mining campaign in Ecuador worth a look though it probably doesn’t effect us directly atm . Whilst browsing I came across this classic retweet from Irwin…. https://twitter.com/urtokencorgi/status/1433235477490978818?s=21
I'm also hoping we could be getting some juicy Rns's starting from tomorrow. Imagine if we have a new discovery
Lol
Monte - reported.
Thankyou Monte kind of you to say that
DG1
It was nice to see you back. Shame if you go so soon.
And there in just a few short lines is the dark under belly of LSE - the planting of doubt / the mystique of the dual or multiple aliases / the distrust of anyone with a differing opinion
It’s a real shame - back in the real world I’ve spoken - yes actual conversations with many Solg investors - I’ve listened to varying opinions and all in a non confrontational ‘adult’ environment.
Bozi, Lotto, Unic to name just a few all genuinely nice gentleman - we don’t always agree but we debate without ramming of opinion down each other’s throats ….I’ve even seen Bozi being accused on here of being a multiple alias - what codswollop !
Sean Hunter gets berated on occasion - he’s brash yea but he makes good honest points - some I agree with and some I don’t - I don’t like his bashing of BnC but doesn’t mean I dismiss everything he says
I’ve seen it Time and time again on these boards - the cloak and dagger which creates this huge aura of distrust
It’s poisonous
Thank you for the guidance Quady I’d hope it was well intentioned on your part. I will however form my own opinions of people and very well know the pitfalls of investing in this area of the market.
I’ll leave you all now to return to your infighting / accusations / secret aliases and inabilities for tolerance
By the way - Solg is a first class investment it ‘WILL’ make great returns for many and I really do wish all of you the greatest of luck with it
Covgaz
I was just thinking the same. But he's probably signed off now as bozi's taken over to continue the finger pointing. It's like a tag team. sorry we are not doing conspiracy tonight lol
Is that a conspiracy theory Quady , be careful of Slug , you may know who he is?
I thought you didn't do conspiracy theories?
SeanHunter - have you learnt nothing?
Company's with no revenue don't develop tier 1 assets with the fruit from numerous money trees. Shareholders have to pay.
The point made is that we'd likely see unscrupulous dilution at the hands of a BHP influenced plants.
The sort of dilution that would lock you into your trade with no prospect of a profit.
You are of course correct DG1.
Just be careful of this poster as I believe I know who Slug is.
All the best.
Quady is there not a room you can go into, to argue with yourself.
You imidiately annoy people whenever you join the conversation
Quady - if you really don’t mind I’ll choose to agree with whom ever I decide to…..really no need for the condescending ‘good grief’
I read your posts and from time to time you make valid points and I can clearly see your position - sometimes I agree and sometimes I disagree.
Without doubt you only form your opinions on precise actual wording of what is said or not said - (your prerogative) many times in the past I’ve read through reams and reams of your debates over the most minuscule of ‘actual wording’
However as an investor myself I like to also consider what’s not been said or what can not be said and from all angles - this provides me with my own vision and my own opinion which I’m comfortable with as I believe it gives me the most rounded of views
If I may kindly and politely state a condescending tone and repetitive drumming of the same message rarely influences or changes my opinion - probably the same for most I’d imagine
All the best
Good grief people agreeing with slug. This individual hasn't a clue. He just makes it up and just ignores what Solgold are saying.
Well if that's your investment strategy. Then don't complain when Solgold continues to announce progress on Alpala and no bid appears.
I say this as too many on here pretend Solgold management have let them down. They haven't.
They feel let down because what Solgold say doesn't agree with what they want.
You really couldn't make this up.
Your right though - all the main stuff about Solg was tweeted from his 6669 Acct - which no longer exists - but the tweets are there. I know the Tweet regarding the PFS not being needed very well indeed as it was myself who asked him about my thinking being it would be wise for BHP to wait for a PFS to appease their own shareholders ! ;-) ….he also said this “ They are the biggest mining company in the world. They don't have to explain a piddly acquisition in Ecuador to their shareholders” ….
Anyway I guess it’s by the by ….he’d be a tough cookie to reign in if he didn’t want to be …..unless of course it was in his interest ;-)
I can still see the tweets about BHP not caring about PFS, Tweets about BHP clearly playing games - which shows they must be interested etc etc ……could well be from others who have responded though ie - maybe chains of tweets are hard to remove …really not sure. They are deffo from him though - not a fake Acct.
Anyway parking the Irwin Acct mystery …just wanted to say I enjoy your posts TheSlug and a good few other posters here who still offer great observation and thought process ….such a shame it gets bogged down sometimes in some underhand tactics from a few …still it provides a laugh every now and then for some LTH’s looking in from afar
Thanks slug
