Wait for a few of the other naysayers to suddenly change tone and you know it's ramp time.
Suddenly all the doom and gloom clears like morning fog to reveal a bright sunny day.
Like I said... ignore the noise, doom mongers and so on.... just focus on the asset and what it is worth and how rare it is to have a Tier 1 mine. Top ten discoveries in recent years.
Ag ….. thanks , if that turns out to be true it could be very interesting. One thing is for sure Maxit know their stuff re M&A ….. just need that first bid then we’ll see
Up several percent. If they are meeting in a public(ish) place, we might not be the only people to know this. If a story breaks the hype will see us end the week strong. Better (and more concrete) than the tired old BHP rumours, that's for sure.
I'll temper it and say, for balance, that it could all come to nothing. And Maxit may have been pleading (!), but I don't think it would have been face to face if it was a shrug off. Desperate to know if it was the first, one of many, the last... So many questions. As I say, nothing more than excitement for the time being. Market doesn't like us at the moment? It'll be them standing on the dock waving as we sail off into a copper coloured sunset.
Now that's how you ramp.
Agggggg arrrrrrr dooooo doooo doooo
He's got plenty of Cu
Agggg arrrr doooo dooo doooooo
Hopefully the SOLG takeover goes through
Having been quite down on the rampers here, I am conscious of hypocrisy, however...
Have it on reasonable authority that Michael Li (Maxit) met with Yu Tong from a little know Chinese copper investment company earlier this week in HK. No details except that it was a full/long day of face-to-face, decent team of advisors on Chinese side. Jiangxi use the same hotel business centre for meetings most times, it would seem (what's wrong with their offices?!) as does an acquaintance who has worked with Li in the past. He knows I have a (failing!) position here so let me know he'd seen him, and was kind enough to ask reception if it was Jiangxi (yes, it would seem) . I'm now all in here. Good news to follow. Very, very excited if they've got an offer for Cascabel out of them.
First sign of morning Blue in a while....
Just had the "1" trade struck...
It's job to be enthusiastic but to be blunt the hole grades are average compared to Alpala. But it's early days for them and they'll need about another 100 holes before they know they have something very sweet. With 1 x rig... see you in 2026!
The good news is that SOLG will be able to take some knowledge from their work and it's in the north which is important.
Sunstone appear to have a good relationship with CGP boys so guess we'll see if they end up partnering us on Porvenir/Bramados etc... some deal in the south looks imminent to me or likely this year. I think Mather wants a little folio of blocks to move on under a new entity or through another. Just a hunch.
Such enthusiasm from Malcolm as he releases news of their finds in our "Copper-Gold District". Wish we could have some enthusiastic releases from our own squad, LOL!
What happened to Hubris Hunter on Twitter - gone private lol
Morning all …. Tin hats at the ready
Cmon Solg give us some news FFS
Sleep it off gazbag.......you may need to drive later!
The mystery around RK? DBW is totally connected , bubble has a brown nose , smickter is besotted. There are others , I forgot , its irrelevant.
Along with Drake and copper pot , we had a threesome of k nobs , pretenders and people who think way above their station. Total experts.
Ask Drake how his investment in Amerisur Resources panned out ? He spouted the same carpo there for 8 months too , only to be very humbled and disappointed.
Mmmm that's unlike Red to give misleading information .
The mystery around that one continues...
Likewise. Bit of a mess to say the least
Been here since first hole, bought more, kept the faith, underwater. Not impressed.
It was slightly smaller Mumbo_Jumbo and importantly less resource had been included in the measured and indicated totals.
But as you'll know, directors can only make recommendations. Their own influence in terms of direct and indirect holdings in the company's shares is weakening by the share issue and we're reaching the stage where they can't use their votes to decide the direction of travel.
They have offered NM a non exclusive look at some non public data, though it doesn’t say that NM have accepted. They have rejected both offers on grounds of price.
From all this I would say that an improved offer will get NCs acceptance.
As expected Solgold not mentioned. Conf call at 11pm.
Bozi - thats shocking!! How could the directors accept that valuation!! Was the resource much smaller at the time?
Think a better strategy would be to put a few hundred Equadorians to work and make in roads to digging the gold and Copper out for themselves
2-3years we might have a result , then we could possibly start the explosives haul the ore out and transport it off to the port ,
Think my 3 year plan is better than the current boards , they just seem to be kicking the can down the road , picking up nice big fat salaries and rewarding themselves in the process
GLA LTH
love it Dave , that's usually bubbles' report. Makes not the slightest difference usually.
Whatever is being negotiated in the background (sale, JV, spinoffs, financing package for own development, else), two things are material here: 1) there are too many vested interests and recent corporate developments to assume that nothing is going to happen, and 2) if on the other side it was a clear investment case worth a high valuation there would have been a buyer already.
So, I just think it's fair to expect that once we have gone through the complex motions of the merger and the strategic review, a path to a medium valuation will be set. We will eventually be in the money, it won't be a crazy price and it won't be quick, but we are not going to be bankrupt or anything of that sort. For those who can top up at these levels it's likely a good choice imho.
End of. GLA.
Nice price recovery on the TSX this evening...
