To quote yourself... "Just engage brain a second"
You've been here for 16 days...
During that time you've read and digested my 7270 posts over 13 years, including more than 6 years here.
The only 'fact' you posted was a rumour of Michael Li meeting Jiangxi. Given that cannot be substantiated, why is that not hype?
In the one post you say both that you have a failing position and that you're 'all in'
Some of us, like DBW have contributed hundreds of links and hundreds more well reasoned arguments and discussions.
It I'd always clear that some of my thoughts are opinion and I routinely ask for others contributions or opinions for the debate.
I have ALWAYS factually stated my holdings and my trades. We now hold 2.531 million and yesterday I again did a T2 T20 swap in 100,000, because I am certain there is at least one bid coming, but you cant make your mind up.
Many of uiur 45 posts are combative or argumentative and even you cant make your mind up whether there is a bid coming soon, fairly soon, some time or never.
So instead you resort to hammering people who have put forward reasoned arguments why it will happen.
And when it does you will look pretty stupid.
Snowman , exactly but I don't think it will be solgold imho
Ha..."I know about as much about solg as the rest of the clueless hopefuls here"
You've been here
Just don't let the hype men tell you it's coming soon...
Long wait still to come,
I have a (failing!) position here so let me know he'd seen him, and was kind enough to ask reception if it was Jiangxi (yes, it would seem) . I'm now all in here. Good news to follow. Very, very excited if they've got an offer for Cascabel out of them.
If we are only a year / year and a half away from construction some engineering better be ongoing. Takes some time and effort to design a multi billion dollar project. Financing also has to be in place by the time construction starts. Some people will be very busy for the next little while if construction is starting in 2024. If that is under the Solgold flag is to be seen of course.
Fair comment, no hype man ,been here since 2013,I'll leave it at that then hope your investment rewards you here gl.
What a strange question, Bubble. I know about as much about solg as the rest of the clueless hopefuls here. But I don't try to twist every piece of information I read, even the demonstrably bad stuff, into some fairytale about it being good for PIs and 'just what we need'. I don't believe an sp at 13 is better than one at 30p, for example. And I do know you're just a hype man for Red
If we start construction in 2024 that means we do it off the current PFS.
So Solgold plan to build Cascabel.
AAC,member since 07/02/23, please tell me what you know about solgold ?,have you been posting under another name? Interested to know
Fort, have you explained your post yet where you said "We shareholders can't be expected to keep carrying the can for the future owners."? It sounded a bit like a winge. Are you expecting majors to take pity on solg shareholders? Until they decide to bid, if they do, we are in charge of our portfolio, costs and all. We're not doing it 'for' anyone else.
“Australia's SolGold has until December to complete the negotiation process of the exploitation contract for its US$2.75bn Cascabel copper project in Ecuador.
In a management discussion and analysis report, the company said the negotiations, which began in January, include a non-binding agreement, term sheet, and the request to move to the exploitation phase.
In December, the company requested a modification to the previously signed investment protection agreement to better align it with the exploitation contract under negotiation, and to obtain additional benefits provided by the government that were not available when the agreement was signed in 2021.
The energy and mines ministry is holding bimonthly meetings with SolGold to review the approvals required for project's progress and address other actions required by the government, the company said.
In a recent interview with BNamericas, energy and mines minister Fernando Santos said that Cascabel, along with the US$250mn Curipamba copper-gold project, would both see construction start in 2024.“
BHP and NCM inc Blackrock didn't even bother to update via TR1's after Chinese equity issue dilution. That was poor by market standards. So this time around they might do the honourable thing.
I wonder how many well get on Monday...?
Another interesting week ahead? How many times have I heard that?
Agree, BHP would never block the consolidation of the ENSA into 100% SOLG owned ENSA. Like shooting themselves in the foot! They own 12.5% (currently) of SOLG shares... not CGP shares. Hence, they like all of us are gaining the 15% ENSA stake for our 500m+ share issue. I don't think the 6% equity placing to the Chinese was all about gaining a modest $36m! I think message was clear. The last thing BHP would want to do is get into a bidding competition with the chinese over the 15% ENSA stake which was the likely outcome should anything get blocked. Remember... nothing to stop CGP selling that stake to whoever they liked (assuming SOLG in agreement etc).
Bob smashed up NCM and BHP pretty well with the recent deals. But BHP (if still interested) will not be too fussed especially if it's ENSA they are after as it's days away from being reduced from two complicated messy bites to one nice large bite.
Sharketmare ,yes true Monday or Tuesday news I think ,certainly going to be a intresting week next week imho
Sorry guys, I’ve lost interest in this fecked up stock ( and board). Should have known better.
Let’s hope for a fire sale soonest, eh?
Z
Sm, I wish they'd drop the word 'funding'.
DM, yup.
I don't know addicknt. This sentence stood out in the prospectus: "The Board expects to recommend its future funding strategy in H1 2023 in connection with the Company’s ongoing strategic review". With the merger completing next week, I'm hoping we get some news on rough timeline for completion of the review and exploration activity.
Are we expecting a TR1?
Zoros who's taking up that 20% you think?
keep up zoros
We also now own the other 15% of cascabel and all other CGP assets. Did you think it was for free?
Thinking about this it's difficult to see why BHP would block it.
The consolidation of the asset has made their life easier should they wish to buy the company. They won't be worried about the minor dilution.
Colonel I read the Prospectus as meaning "if you're going to issue any new shares and we hold at least 10% we're entitled to new shares" but its unclear to me...
Does "and at that time BHP Billiton holds at least 10 per cent" mean at the time of the proposed issue or at the time of the first dealings.
If the former than they would appear to have foregone their right...
Seems to have been fairly neutral...the SP was marked down to 13.40 following the news but has since recovered to 13.74 on no great volume...
Maybe everyone is waiting for first dealings on Monday.
BTW the Prospectus implies that the shares will only be traded in London while mentioning seeking a listing in Toronto in due course...makes any takeover bids more simple...
Erm, is this news to you? We've known since the transaction was announced.
