Scrapping the barrel there, matey.
Wish he'd switch off, dbw, but he'll be back with variations on the same ramp every day for months and months. Yawn.
Red …….precisely
Just switch off and wait
Novice, of course I accept we've all been disappointed in the past, but we've never had an SR before, nor have we had such a clear expression of intent. As I said previously, the strategy's clear, the tactics aren't.
I think you should also bear in mind Sangha's comments and Cornerstone's before that. I see these as positives, you appear to have lost your enthusiasm. Strange how people react differently to the same info.
I feel certain that, some months ago, posters referred to specific timescales that Solg have to start mining at Cascabel and possibly other tenements. I cannot find this information but as we are not mining at present, doesn’t this make it more likely that a large mining company company will want to take over the asset fairly promptly to comply with these terms
It's only a matter of time now the merger is complete...
On 7 October the following priorities were laid out:
1 evaluating financing alternatives for the Combined Group;
These were announced on 7 November (Osisko) and 23 November (Jiangxi) and completed on 1December and 12 December respectively.
Tick.
That leaves:
1 a spin-out of assets, other than the Cascabel Project, to all shareholders of the Combined Group and/or
2 the direct or indirect acquisition of an interest in ENSA and/or the Cascabel Project howsoever effected; or
· any other transaction or series of related transactions as may be agreed to between the Parties.
Big Bob's appointment was announced on the same day but surely he will already have been working on these options.
It's almost certain that he found the two transactions and...
He is a M&A specialist who brought home the Noront deal for Wyloo, so
Its only a matter of time before there is either a full blown bid for SOLG or
A complete sale of ENSA/Cascabel and a spin off of the remaining assets...
Anything else is idle speculation.
I ask again why would the Chinese State first buy a small stake through Valuestone and later invest a mere $30 million in the second best copper/gold prospect in the world...?
As an investment or a punt...? Nah...
The recent strength and triple average daily volumes show someone is buying...
It's only a matter of time...
Tick tock...
But he claims he topped up "by a few thousand yesterday morning, it makes sense rodney"
Full of sheet.
Addict, fundamentally nobody knows what is going to happen with solg in the near mid long term but as I’ve been here over 6 years I have heard and read the same rhetoric with moments of sheer excitement and great final expectation but each time being thoroughly disappointed… does that answer your question
Morning addicknt, and so was the word "perhaps"
Good luck matey.
copper, yes it was.
"Not mine makers"........of course they're not. That's why you get the J/V done and dusted and then get the mine construction experts in! Voila.
Was the "sale" word mentioned?
Morning Quady.. All these people that claim it’s about to be sold… that Solgold are deep in discussions to sell, might want to ask themselves why we even presented at PDAC if that was the case..
We have not done any regional exploration drilling for over a year…. We have curtailed everything… and for circa 6 months while we do the SR… how is hat acceptable? And our board continue to drag their feet…
Orthern, we do have a clear timetable for the SR - by the end of H1.
Novice, where did you get the 4/5 years from? Why do you think the SR is being done, and why do you believe it will take that long to enact the findings?
They've outline the priority targets and when weather improves they start drilling? You know this already.
As for the SR, it's ongoing and there is no timeframe on it and likely involved various caveats within the party talks which may mean they need to stretch things out to their advantage. But I agree, an update or 'reveal' on the SR should be expected soon and certainly before H2 begins for sure.
Orthern, glad to see other people read between the lines and it wasn't all ra ra ra as some posted, very concerning here with not a shred of anything concrete offered up by Scott... 4 to 5 years minimum for any type of decent return here but that's fine with me as i'll keep on adding as and when as these are for my kids...
Good morning Ortherncopper, I believe that's hopefully what the strategic review will reveal.
The one that Redknight, DBW and his friend Slug doesn't believe will happen.
How about explain what the near term plans are for exploration drilling?
How about give investors and potential investors a guide as to when the SR is due to complete? Explain why takes over 6 months for a small explorer to complete a strategic review… we are not a huge multinational conglomerate with hundreds of divisions.. it shouldn’t take 6 weeks..
How about give some clear details?
I do agree with you addicknt on the ambiguity. I really hope the strategic review gives some clarity.
However my reasoning for advancing to DFS is two fold.
First as I mentioned below the PFS was done in such a way making the import of data into the DFS simpler and cheaper.
Second the announcement that we have completed the data on Cascabel, so maybe we have all the data to construct the DFS and possibly the BFS.
Ortherncopper
The presentation was supposed to be a PRE PDAC quick overview not a detailed long presentation which I believe was yesterday.
May I ask, what exactly would you like him to have said? What exactly do you want SOLG team to present to you?
Orthern, very good! Trump takes the stage at PDAC.
Quady, who knows? And that's where the ambiguity lies.
To quote a certain blond haired buffoon, is Cascabel 'oven-ready', or is there still a lot of work to do before we market the asset? Or are we already marketing the asset as the SR suggest?
Anyway, I take it you now accept we won't be taking this to production ourselves?
He stood up there and basically spoke for 15 minutes without actually saying anything. Like listening to a footballer being interviewed.
“Essentially, things are great now… gee guys, we are now focused, so so focused… we are now more efficient, and we are going to things better… things are gonna be better.. more efficient… we’ve got a great team.. the lads back there, they are just swell… and there’s Nick… he found it…. Great guy…. We have lots of regionals… lots of em.. and we are getting more efficient, we are gonna do things better… and biggly.. thanks for listening to my presentation”
Looks like the bid is a pipe dream it's been pumped and dumped again....10p beckons....
Good morning addicknt, I have for some time believed we keep going. So to me looks like next step is DFS.
I think this fits in with everything I heard.
After all, we redid the PFS in a format that could be enveloped into the DFS making the DFS cheaper.
