Accuses someone of exaggerating then says we're up over 8% today when it's more like 5.5%.
If you're talking about the nitty-gritty I'd agree with you. For example, we don't know how many people we still employ and how those who remain are spending their days...other than re-locating a village. But we have had plenty of general descriptions and bigger picture stuff. But as Novice suggests, we've scaled back our activities quite considerably.
My own feeling is that we won't see much until the SR concludes.
Nothing at all Pactrol, as we are trying to find the highest bidder. No point in wasting any of the shareholders money is there ;))
addicknt well I looked and can find no other RNS on Business Activity other than the merger & fund raise. but that doesn't tell me what's happening out on site which is what I want to Know ?
Don't you just love people who exaggerate add... lolzzz good day so far up over 8 % in the right direction
pactrol, whilst all of us would welcome some news - provided it's good - it's not true to say the last update was 28 July last year. Have a look through the RNS section listed above.
Does anyone Know what the company is actually doing at the moment the last update was 28 july 2022 so where are we now are we drilling or what ? they only news we had this year is the musical chairs being played by the board of directors. while we burn through our cash reserve.
I wish I could but my trades /news is all to pot ATM

Cheap pickings today at this price. May never be this low again.
Morning DieSlak, it's not the "loony left" as you put it, that are trying destroy mining in Ecuador. These people don't know anything about wokery (as you put it) or anything similar. Some of these people that you are taking a pop at know nothing but the rainforest. It's their very life, their very existence, it's their larder/their home!
These people need educating as to the benefits of responsible mining with regards to employment and financial security and long term benefits for families and communities.
They don't want the likes of the Slugs of this world to come in and trash their homes (the forest) for people to drive E/V's in lands that some have never heard of. Simple question to you Slug...."would you simply let someone onto your patch to destroy your home and generations of family tradition? A lot of these people want nothing more than what has been handed down to them from family generations for centuries. They need educating, and it takes time. Solgold are doing a great job of this around Cascabel and it will take a long time to convince all.
The UK was once a big sub-tropical rainforest....look at it now! Ecuadorian people are allowed a say in matters that affect them, even if you don't agree Slug! If only life was as simple as yourself!
These very proud people need educating......not brainwashing!
"Everyone should have been shouting about copper months ago, especially those involved in clean energy policy, but warnings have been few and far between. This started to change this past week as both Trafigura and Goldman Sachs started to sound the alarm on global copper supplies." Forbes
You never learn do you slug..........
Z
Its been a nice weekend with ya slug , try hang around bud
Slug , can you tell Fort that please , he reckons solg could have 5 or 6. What a tool....
Monte - no they didn't. Comparing BHP and NCM with Jiangxi is comparing chalk and cheese.
BHP and NCM were supporting a company trying to delineate and develop a burgeoning asset. There were capital requirements and technical requirements that majors such as them were well placed to help and secure themselves a favourable standing with shareholders. Both were signed up to standstill agreements so I was blatantly obvious both would be long term holders.
Things have changed drastically now. The strategic review is ongoing and the company is being slimmed down at all levels.
The only ways we're progressing Cascabel is to relocate communities and secure permits, so there's basically no need for a third major on the register.
BHP have an Ecuadorian exploration office. They fully get the need to open up new jurisdictions. The rampers (hi, fort!) want us to believe that means an imminent TO for solg, or fuel for a bidding war. The realists believe BHP will use some of the time they have (that's what huge cash and regular divs to your funds buys you) to explore. If the geology isn't fruitful, and we've somehow happened upon the only big discovery, they'll be more interested. More likely they'll find something within their timeline - after all, fort says we alone could have 5-6 more tier 1s....
Montecristo, have you had a look at the other smaller miners out there which BHP have taken smaller positions in over the last few years.
You know about Noront. Got their buts whipped on that one by Wyloo. You probably also know about Mincor... recently Wyloo made a dart for them and BHP also have a small holding.
See a pattern emerging?
You'll know about it when they are all ready.
People have said for years, that it served no purpose for BHP and Newcrest to hold 8-10% of shares, yet here we are a few years down the line and guess what? They still hold their shares and no bid came to date.
It's a waste of time to try and second guess what's happening here.
The big buys need to wake up then get this bought!!!
!!! "IInvestments of US$11bn in seven projects planned to start production in coming years are expected.
