Covgaz ..... 'specially for you. What if Putin gets assassinated ' lead in the head ' and his replacement is more nationalistic and anti West .... be careful what you wish for.
How can two men , putin and hitler , send so many people to their graves
Putin gets lead in the head
What do you think their winning conditions are ? I bet my understanding of them is different than yours.
Covgaz....... Reality is what remains, even after you wish it was gone.
How many Challengers and Leopards are being sent to Ukie, and when ?
Will they make a difference ?
I understand that tankers take up to 6 months to train in the basics, then further advanced training on/close to battlefield conditions.
Last time I looked , there were less than 100 EU tanks promised: not enough to equip a regiment.
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/british-army-tank-numbers-drop-to-148-from-227/
Oh dear, we seem to have mislaid some tanks under the settee.....
The EU does not have enough equipment to pursue a war for more than a month. That's the whole of the EU, mind.
And then Dad's Army........ Broomsticks, and Narwhal tusks.
No novice , they didn't with all respect
Kat whatever , your not welcome in my world
Covgaz et al. maybe I'm ChatGPT ...... and I'm pro Russian ( Aaaahhhhh )
lulz. Covgaz. I'm sitting in a shell hole in Crim, gnawing on a rat, hoping that my SOLG shares will buy me a ticket out.
Did they have a 50 year mineable resource life ? Just asking
No Novice they turned it on :)
Just ask the resident expert Fortissimo what happened to Amerisur Resources , same thing going down here.
Looks like someone forgot to turn the gas off again tonight
kats a Russian ffs
I told u last night slug , we spend all the cash on wages and become fecked , no cash , desperate. BHP already tried it , they got jianxi I @ 17p. What next? Blah blah @ 9p
Perhaps you want to cast your info net a bit wider, or you will be on the wrong side of history here. The Russian nation ( it's not just Putin.... another mistruth ) is winning the ground war with Wagner mercenaries, Chechen volunteers and DPR / LPR militia. The Ukies are losing 5+ for every one Russian lost. The Russians have 10 to 1 superiority in artillery use, and they are mincing the Ukies up every day. Ukies now sending boys, girls, old men at 60 yrs and press-ganging guys off the streets in UkieVille. Sorry to tell you, but you are living in a UK media propaganda bubble.
That the Russians are sending 1950s tanks into battle is a misdirection. Mostly because tanks are not a primary weapon in this conflict atm. It's a good old artillery duel, with the added fun of GPS and drone targeting. And at that, my friend, the West is seriously outgunned.
Most of all, the West has depleted its stocks of ammunition, and is ill-prepared to make more, whereas the Russians are not only turning it out 24/7 ( they had mothballed many plants, rather than swap to JIT and offshoring ) but China, Iran and N Korea are all supporting the cause.
It seems like the old adage about logistics, rather than tactics, being the war winner, is being proved true once again.
( BTW the US won WW1 and WW2 because of their logistics, or please tell me where I am wrong on this )
I don't see how it does Add.
I think we're reliant on BHP coming to the table for a fight but I don't believe they will, hence the first mover will win.
CovGaz - the money means diddly. 1981, when he was masquerading as Stackhigh, talked of H2 and 2024 but since then key personnel have left in their droves. Whilst we'll likely mobilise a rig and drill a hole or two, we won't be doing much else, and if we're still in this position come late summer then our investment accounts won't be worth looking at. Just look at what the market does to companies that announce less than optimal strategic review outcomes or don't complete the review at all. The market calls BS.
As you hotheads keep on banging on about the take-over , you all are so ignorant to "us" thsat don't agree. Yes we have 12 months cash , but as 1981 keeps pointing out , we have no buyer. We maybe for sale , we HAVE NO BUYER.
Bozi, doesn't that contradict your earlier post?
We will have to see Add. I'm not sure they will be too bothered about their position here. They've struck on Oz and they forced Wyloo into action on Noront.
My expectation at this stage is that BHP will wave SOLG into eastern hands and cash out for about levels. They will then will look to bolster their long term portfolio with maybe Filo Mining plus whatever their Xplore project turns up.
"Putin is the one who is going to come out of this smelling of roses". Jeez! Apart from the naivety of that statement, we have someone on here who thinks it's OK to support a war criminal.
I generally appreciate your train of thought, but I reckon you should revisit your precepts about US interest rates and reasons for Fed doing so. You are missing some pieces of the puzzle, namely that Powell is responding to WEF and to wrestle control of the Eurodollar market from the Davos crowd and repatriate those investment funds back to the US economy .
War drives up interest rates as countries print more money to send to Ukraine.
Of the three world power blocks, ( USA, Europe/EU, BRICS / Global South, Higher interest rates will destroy EU first ( boo-hoo ) .
Russia is winning the war in Ukraine, and Putin is going to be the one to come out of this smelling of roses, as most of the world wants to see USA / EU brought down a peg or three.
Global markets have been pretty bad Slug...cant blame anyone for holding off...
Bozi, no, I don't think BHP will walk away. But the point is we are now in a formal process and BHP will be part of that. Citi/Maxit will orchestrate negotiations and as I said the other day, the re-balancing of the register means that BHP will not have it all their own way.
