Hi, I know there are some very knowledgeable people on this board and wondered if anyone could anyone help me please? About 6 years ago I bought a quantity of shares in Black Mountain resources and Savanah resources . I think someone called Peter Landou got involved in Black mountain and the share price went south. Since then I believe they have been taken over by Hip or Hipo , are my shares still trading in Australia and are they worth anything and what can I do with them. If someone could please inform me it would be of great help.
Morning Miagi and Grim. You seem to be correct. Just an observation, I have noticed, that when Solgold price is doing well, TSX is usually ahead of us. Just TSX closed, below us, so felt, we may lose a little ground. However it does look like sentiment is still with us. All the best guys.
Quady, our TSX price is almost always out of kilter with the main listing. It's entirely possible that we'll test 30p again today, but then again it's quite possible that we won't. It already had a stern test yesterday and found heavy buying.
Thanks to Pob69 on t'other site - exciting stuff indeed from Shore Capital2 Oct '20

New article. Shore are not listed as covering the company in recent presentation decks Solgold SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #porvenir #cascabel #ecuador $CGP
"...Shore Capital previously suggested Porvenir had the potential to upstage SolGold's flagship 85%-owned Alpala deposit.... preliminary observations from the ongoing drilling of the Porvenir's first drillhole would appear supportive of this belief; Shore said."
Morning copper, of course all of our opinions are equally valid, it just happens that I see the route described as being the best way to maximise shareholder value. It's a kind of best of both worlds approach.
I posted the comparison on Twitter because it allows pictures, but if you compare the visuals from near surface to those at 450m the veining is completely different, far bigger as you go down, the leaching zone as we approach the host intrusion will just by the law of physics indicate greater and greater vein and mineral readings now at least until this so he finishes. It could have been that the veins at 300-500 just didn't contain much chalco but because they do, the pressure must have transferred it there. Nick KNOWS how good it is, which is very rare in a first drill.
It's too difficult to call for me, Porvenir could be finding some amazing stock work between 500-800m as it gets looser to the intrusion. If he amazed if it didn't and have no doubt the extra rigs are in part needed because they now have to drill to 700-1000m rather than 500-600m.
Cascabel is the world's number 1 copper gold none production project with some of the world's best ever drill results. Porvenir looks like it might well be better . For Rio to come in even better would be a feat never before seen by any miner. But Rio has so many of the characteristics of the other two.....
RE: £2 is a minimum offer I would now take2 Oct '20
Nice summary phattrader - you sound like CookieCrew - Onwards and Upwards Solgers! So what comes next here, now that we are "Fireworks" in share trades/turn over, and the media are hot on news regarding Solgold and Equador! GLA
NM gets some flack for his presentation style, but I think he's ok.
Ingo is not responsible for the share price movement - the news is! NM normally keeps a poker face but yesterday, in the BRR interview, he could allow his genuine excitement to show finally, as the results were out in the open.
Hi addicknt, hope your well matey! Don't take this the wrong way, I think we all have our own ideas of how the best way forward should pan out. Ninety nine percent of the time it is to suit our own personal financial situation at that time. NM doesn't think that way...he is hell bent on taking this to production. I am happy with my investment here which ever way it pans out, but we will all get our exit price eventually it just takes time. I may jump ship at £1 and be over the moon with my profits, but whatever I decide to do I think the big moey will come when Solgold goes into production.
was the most interesting and upbeat I think I've ever heard from NM - even his budgie sounded excited. As the discussion progressed I couldn't help but feel the best way forward would be to sell Alpala and concentrate on proving-up the other concessions. I understand the difficulties with this, not least the potential damage it may do to our relationship with the government. But the ability to provide an immediate return to shareholders and to have cash to cover all of our exploration costs without the need for dilution or expensive funding packages, is enormously tempting. I'm sure if we were in any other part of the world, this is the route we'd take. p.s I note the Orange One has the virus. I suspect this may hit the markets today (although it's of no real relevance to us - other than in a broader market sense)
Surely it would be inconceivable for the assays not to confirm Porvenir's grades as being economic following Mather's (Ward and Garwin etc) promotion of Porvenir and their comments about 'high grades at depth' etc etc? You surely wouldn't be so bullish only to be exposed as being a d-ck when the assays are returned as being not so great. I think they already have the assays and their comments are based on info not yet released to the market
