IMHO:
1) as Scott commented once some time ago, some money was freed up and he bought some shares, which he can only do in Canada as that's where his pension fund is. So I would not stress on the tiny buy, he likely had some extra and added up even if the amount was immaterial.
2) The majors can take all the time they want (assuming they are interested in eventually making a move on SOLG) and if anything can also agree among themselves to keep doing nothing to starve SOLG. So I would not hold my breath.
The only think that we know for sure are that 1) cash is running out and SOLG needs to announce some funding rather soon, 2) they hope it's not dilutive. The rest as usual is our speculation.
GLA
W hat are you going to bet with.
You've lost the inheritance in solg shares
My bet is that:
- Non-dilutive funding options have been tabled to the board
- Solgold has since presented their options to larger shareholders being Newmont, Jiangxi and BHP for review and feedback.
- These larger shareholders will now be determining whether they are (a) happy to proceed with the current funding option/s, or (b) whether they are going to present terms which supersede non-dilutive tabled terms.
- With a very small cash pile, it illustrates to these shareholders that management have to make a decision very soon, which could force the hand of those that are wishing to dictate things beyond this funding event.
- Management and board would have a date set for making a decision - the cash cannot run out. This builds FOMO and should deliver very attractive terms for all shareholders
They’re not minute. Tsx is difficult to buy many on and Scott and Chris have (relatively) rubbish salaries.
You have to understand that the titles ceo and cfo don’t necessarily come with rock star salaries
Just wondering with these (scam) minute buys by our CEO and CFO this last week, what the real reason has been? More important, have attempts to find finance been given headwinds? Or can the Board not decide? Where are we? What is the way forward sitting on a mothballed Tier One? I cannot say that I am a happy investor.
Tin!! Ffs give it a rest
We know you lick ingos backside because he took pity on you and spoke to you. No need to follow him about like chumsy’s dog
Nobody should be travelling to COP by plane when the whole premise of their nutty agenda is to end fossil fuels
They should walk, ride electric trains or sail in ships with sails only
But of course it’s nothing to do with climate at all. It’s just political. You’d have to be as thick as mince not to see it
They’re nothing but a childish 🔔end rich…
Have a great weekend all
55p someday soon
It's not the 70's anymore with Carlos the Jackal highjacking planes. Flight security has increased. Plus as far as I can remember there were three separate private flights taking government officials from the UK alone.
What about the oil deals prior to the conference?
Hi Stackhigh, I see that you currently post only on this bb? And I’ve also formed the opinion that you are consistently negative about this company. May I ask about your beef? I’m guessing you don’t currently hold shares here - but please be honest. You like to dish criticism out - now please share with us where you’re coming from …. thanks in advance
Madpunter how were they meant to get there and maintain security.
Also cannot have virtual meetings for confidential discussions.
Why don't you believe the science.
Which part do you disagree with.
As if to prove my point. Sounds neither happy nor healthy, and is willing to clog up the board even when he doesn't know what he is replying to 🤦♀️
The entitlement on some people is off the chart. He'd be the boring old fart in the corner of the pub whose wife has left him and doesn't understand why the kids don't call when he's clearly right about everything and has so much to offer... 😕
I see little green feeble twat is back!
Slug is still at it. A happy, healthy man doesn't spend all day every day trying to drag sensible posters round to his conspiracy theories. He has proven that he doesn't understand how carbon dioxide absorbs infrared radiation. He also doesn't understand temperature, but that's not my point. He's desperate for attention, and has decided the poor, long-suffering solg board is the place full of people who he thinks should listen to him. I'm genuinely sorry for the times I've engaged him in the past. I thought he could be educated, but he wears his ignorance like a badge if honour and continues to pump out nonsense. Water powered engines, for example?
All day.
Every day.
Indeed! Make no mistake, the notion that a trace gas essential for all plant life could be a deadly poison will go down as the greatest mass delusion in human history
Always made me smile that phrase. Lenin called the Labour Party 'useful idiots' and they still supported him lol!
'Turkey's voting for Christmas' also sums them up well lol!
If this was written as fiction, it would be dismissed as too far fetched. It's only reality that can get away with such blatant lies. I think it was Hitler who said that the bigger the lie, the easier it was to convince people.
Exactly! They’re laughing at their own foot soldiers, the useful idiots that spread their propaganda for them
What they want is wealth and power and to kick away the ladder so the rest of us can’t have it
Quady - Did you pay attention to what happened at their last meeting. They arrived in their private jets and thrashed out major oil deals before the conference started. They then agreed on how they should get us all to reduce our Carbon footprint, before they jetted home in the HUNDREDS of PRIVATE PLANES! They're taking you for a mug. Wake up and smell the coffee!
Madpunter what are you on about, did you even listen to the announcement.
Try listening Slug is 100% wrong.
You can't define it in any other way.
Slug like usual is just lying.
The very idea that the world has a temperature is beyond ridiculous anyway!
Even if it did, even the IPCC admit that more than half of the recent warming was in times before heavy industrialisation and use of fossil fuels
So half happened anyway and the other half is fossils?
All utter bs, propaganda to make money and seize freedoms from people
Next Quady will tell us 2030 target was just an estimate, like the 15°C average temperature of the World was just an estimate.
The Chinese are opening two new coal powered stations per week. Cheap energy is prosperity, they are not stupid
They’re making electric cars to sell to the knob heads in the west who’ve bought the scam
Too much money to be had with fossil fuels and the german's are so far behind the chinese when it comes to electric cars... so how best to beat the competiton??? Simple... just stop people buying electric cars and push them back to good old european shiite.
So here's one for you... A shareholder water company racks up 10 billion+ of debt but for last handful of years still pays out it's shareholders over £3bln in dividends. Then after that... it goes under and tax payer carries the debt burden.
Talk about taking from the poor and giving to the rich and then when they are done with it... give back to the poor and while you are at it... double their bills to pay for all the sweage issues that should have been paid for by shareholders.
It's a shiiiite world friends. As ugly as it gets.
Fort. Although he will never make a ceo.
He' s at the coal face, and after a year or so
Perhaps he's aware that 23p is the maximum it's worth.
The other worry is, if he's touting his opening price as 23p, what will he accept, after bartering.
