Ko ...yes , it's pr*tty sh*t . I am not familiar with OMI but believe me I've had other disasters just as similar I'm sure. Good luck buddy.
covgas
i’m identical to you over 40k gbp at avg 27
painful hey
and a double kick in the *******s is my 10 k in omi at 13p
now 4p
I am now of the view sh*t or bust. I have 32k in here at 27.7 , if it goes bust so be it. I have lost about 25k on the market since 96 , so another 32k will not be nice but I'm resigned to it. I expect to get about 26 back eventually , so will ride it out.
For any kind of commenraty from WI, your best bet is twitter. Most recent post....
'Waiting for a bid is a painful thing to do. I am holding and not saying it is an easy decision. I sold an oil company once two weeks before a takeover bid and left 10 million on the table, so I try to be more patient. I am waiting.'
Forte, I guess we shall see, but unless there is any buying pressure, I dont see how BR stopping selling will move the price back up. If they thought the price would go back up they just would not sell.
If anyone is intouch with Warren, they could perhaps ask him to join this board. He used to post on cgp board with some really interesting insider coments

Hopefully that's the last of BR. I said the same last month and they managed to still have 20m shares left.
Looks like the bulk of these larger II deals are being done in or around the 17p. Scott's options were at 17p and we know the Chinese took 5%+ at around the same price.
Seems like 17p level is the 'floor' from which most seem happy building big stakes. Does that suggest a 34p or 51p sale price? 1 or 2 bagger?
Thanks for info. Looks like someone else is using the same technique today
fist 199? Maybe a different Sid?
@Sid200 (what happened to the fist 199 by the way?)
BR uses a lot of data, also a lot of "alternative" data to feed their pricing algos, to determine at any given time if one stock is a buy, a hold or a sell. As stocks are picked for any one or more of their thematic funds, it might be that the algo prices in he Ecuador country risk and on that basis alone determines to sell, or less dramatically it blends different contributing factors to come up with a decision based on their risk appetite at any given point.
From internal sources I know for sure that traders are just executing deals, all decisions are algo-based. Of course we will not know the exact background of their decision to offload SOLG shares, but it's just a mechanical exercise ands it might well be that when the risk profile changes they will load up again. They do this for thousands of positions every hour of every day. That's it really.
Maybe they are fed up with the Solg story and performance over the years and see no near monetisation…..
One things for sure, if they saw monetisation in the near term, they would not be selling at these prices.
Sid.... just google your way through to Morningstar and ownership on SOLG. A few II's have added or bought Blackrock's stock.
Does anyone know why black rock is selling?
Any other major share holder sellyor or adding?
What if people who don't like each other just filter each other out ? No more bad feelings
Hi Darren
And thats why I don't post anymore.
Best wishes
RK
We should get an inkling on Blackrock's movements with regard their 20m of shares (rough estimate) when Morningstar data released tomorrow. They sold down around 40m shares the previous month so I'm hoping they are cleared now. SOLG's volume has been lighter so larger II movements lacking now.
Blackrock's 'selling' has been a heavy weight on the sp so might see some buying (by some) tomorrow if Blackrock fully cleared out.
Unfortunately Darren as you can see novice the liar is still talking about me on another board.
He just can't stop telling porkies...
Ya, NH and MR perhaps a bit a bit of realization that life is short !!

nal, don't you see the irony in your post?
no one has a problem with you expressing your opinion about the company - which seems largely to rest on the fact you think mather is a **** (many actually agree)- but it's your endless attacks on a few posters which cause the problem ( by responding they are also to blame)
why not simply ignore other people's posts and try to add some constructive comments/criticism of the company? there are more than a few on here who agree with you, but i'm sure they're as bored as i am of seeing this never ending stream of aggressive crap.
NAL, not sure I agreee cos Ive seen every opinion across the spectrum expressed on this bb.
And that is good
But ateotd you take your stance and invest accordingly?
DK
This particular share is like life itself, highs and lows and who knows whats going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year !!
