Personally Bozi I don’t have any issues with holders, what I do have issue with is rampers like red knight and DBW etc who continually post the same ramping BS day in day out and readers like FTJNY who suck up to those posters because they don’t have much choice.
It is easy to post negative comments about this share, one has to only look at the share price.
I took an interest in this share because someone tried to get me to buy into it 5 years ago when BHP took a stake.
Needless to say I made a pretty good decision back then.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and you are absolutely right if FTJNY had a counter argument that would have been great but all he could do was troll me, ironic really, but I think that says more about the quality of investor here than anything else.
At least posters like yourself and other realistic investors haven’t got those rose tinted glasses on.
What amazes me is red knight actively traded this stock whilst misleading readers and yet they still suck up to the ramping clown.
Ftjny. A good hard tackle, I think not. Your more akin to sniping from behind a curtain, or egging others on. As soon as anyone gets the better of you, you bring out your trusty filter bin. Clown
With such limited cash, what exactly?
But surely he should be doing more to get the SP up before the starter's pistol is fired...?
Not overly important but we were told the new website would be launched towards the end of the month…. Let’s see
Fort another blockbuster.
"Like I said a while ago, there's a clear trend of 'drifting' lower on low volume and moving higher on high volume."
No sh**t sherlock. Never would of thought that.
Thank god your hear to enlighten us.
Eloro, as far as your point about deliverables etc is concerned, I agree with you. In fact, I pointed this out yesterday. I also said that if he's relying on engineering studies and various scoping exercises to increase the sp, he's p issing in the wind. But the fact is, he isn't.
They are fully focussed on the SR and yes, it's frustrating having to wait, but I'm certain he's aiming to deliver a good outcome.
Cheers, Fort. Personally I agree with your "they're just cheap shares" type sentiment.
Add, I was hopeful that Scott would be a new broom particularly after his critique of previous management. Instead, all we are getting is open ended deliverables, vagueness, nowt concrete that he is actually going to take steps to arrest the decline of the SP which should be of concern to him as it is to us. Finally, we have had months and months of guessing about a bid, and as for fast and smart, I heard nothing on June 22nd that convinced me that he and his mates are actually seeking to sell casacabel or solg. Just endless waffle which I am now finding irritating. My moan for the day.
It tends to bounce when the likes of the chinese want a few million.... just like the last move from 15.5p to 19.5p. Like I said a while ago, there's a clear trend of 'drifting' lower on low volume and moving higher on high volume.
The curious thing is... if you were Chinese entity and knew you were going into a JV deal on ENSA, would you buy SOLG Equity?? My guess is NO. Unless of course you were covering your basis against a potential counter offer from someone like BHP? Or... the other scenario... you don't intend to get involved in JV's and instead intend to buy the entire business. Then I guess buying the equity makes sense. Personally I think the Chinese equity position allows them to 'win' even if they fail on a takeover as they'll profit nicely on that 6%+ holding.
Going to be interesting to see what Newmont's plans are for SOLG's 10% stake. If they don't like BHP... maybe they will sell it to the chinese? Or just hang onto it and await the sale process?
I leave the likes of Fort,Red,Add,DG and other posters to play the ball, but when I see posters like you Bozi being unduly negative I play the man and if my tackle is a bit harsh then it's probably deserved! It's good this footie analogy stuff :)
Eloro, I disagree. He has 19m shares in the company, so I think he's completely aligned with us. And bear in mind he isn't taking a DC level salary.
At 1904, it's hardly on the floor either, but I sort of see what you mean Red.
Agreed Red.
Scott previously slated previous management for not delivering. Now it would appear that now that he has had his nest feathered, he is behaving just like the previous management with his open end SR. He doesn't have to meet a schedule because there isn't one. Just more vagueness, no exploration, no measures to arrest the fall in the SP, all the while taking his fat salary. I do not feel that he is fully aligned with us. Just another talking head collect a fat salary while failing to deliver.
What absolute rubbish from Redknight.
Anyone is free to look at a historic chart that tracks the price of gold over the last ten years and then overlay it with the Solgold price.
There is no correlation at all.
But you don't even need to do that.
Just remember when we were at 46 pence a share and now we are at 16 pence a share.
Was the price of gold three times what it is now.
Of course not.
Waffle waffle waffle waffle FTJNY.
All your posts are complete nothingness. You contribute pure waffle.
Try playing the ball and not the man for once.
IMO there are two reasons why the SP is on the floor...
Mainly the utterly incompetent lack of news...if Scott's Investor Meet was meant to fire the price it was a totally misguided failure, together with the nonentity of a revised(?...you're having a laugh...) Presentation...
But the other main factor ATMO is the gold price...its on the floor...
Cleverer people than me will confirm that there is a strong correlation between gold and SolGOLD...
And its hammering my other gold and silver investments...
Sid. Are you up late drinking with padmaster. Mather is not the messiah. Share holders sacked him.
Also mate, I'm aware I'm a bit on the thick side. But WTF is a twir
Other than that mate your grasp of the written English language is worse than mine. I wonder if the gang will ridicule you.
Just to add, Chinese are also investing more in this company which means they are serious and see a positive outcome. It's only a matter of time
Just a reminder of Warren's latest 2 twits. He is probably more invested and closer to the company than anyone else here so I personally take what he says very seriously and wait for a hopefully possitive outcome as he does;
1) "I am sure there are multiple parties looking at SolGold, which one moves and when, who knows? It is an excellent deposit, I think Scott's new plan to mine it will light things up. I am looking forward to seeing his plan."
2) his clarification on 'new plan to mine' bit in above twit :
"Mine plan, not plan to mine. They will not build the mine"
Put the bottle away pad. You know you wake up with a hangover. £4.20 by Xmas. hic.. hic 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
Roll up. Roll up. The circus is back in town.
“Oh please daddy, may we go? The world famous clown Kalneedabari is starring.”
“No son. Don’t waste our money on that infestor-jester. Same tired old act. Time he retired for good. We’ll use that money and more to top up your impressive Solg share holding in your junior isa.”
“Your right daddy. “
“Now let’s pop into the Lamborghini showroom.”
Ftjny. Your post
"So pardon me if I don’t take anything you have to say on the subject of Solg with any seriousness or credibility!"
Was it not you who told us the silence from solg tells us all we want to know. Because it showed a sale was imminent.and did you not forecast the sp to be £4.50 by Xmas 5 years ago.
And you talk about credibility. Clown
Oh the irony of it Bozi. All from a poster who in the past has been sooooooo negative about Solg. The epitome of a “glass half full person” if ever I saw one! One of those people in life who sucks all the positivity out a room. So pardon me if I don’t take anything you have to say on the subject of Solg with any seriousness or credibility!
Bugger me. Would you believe it,on the way home from having a beer with scotty, I just bumped into nic mather in the local butcher. He was buying a kilo of tripe.
I asked him what I asked scotty boy.
He put a different spin on it.
He claims it's them dastardly Chinese who are the problem. He said that knowing cascabel will revert back to Ecuador at years end if we don't keep our part of the deal. They have bribed the man who issues permits to delay another 6 months, they've promised him a Lionel Messi shirt as further payment when they pick up cascabel by default at 2p a share.
He said the future is looking grim. But he said to thank dbw, ftjny, addict, padmaster, fortissimo, Italian, Copperpot and to many more for they're unwavering support over the years. He also said its a pity we never made the £1 tee shirt. But spend your 2p wisely
